Read this manual thoroughly and follow the installation and operation procedure carefully to prevent any
damage to the unit, and/or any of the devices that connect to it.

OVERVIEW
Transmitting End:
1. RJ45 Port of Transmitting End
Put one side CAT5 cable into this RJ45 port, put another side CAT5 interface into Receivers RJ45 port
2. LED on-line instruction light
The light is on when it’s connected with Receiver
3. LED Power Light
The light is on when it’s connected with PC
4. VGA Port
Connect with HDB-15 port of PC
5. Mouse & Keyboard Interface
Connect with USB port of PC

INSTALLATION
SINGLE INSTALLATION
1. Plug your PS/2 / USB keyboard, PS/2 / USB mouse and monitor into the console port section located on the
unit’s rear panel.
2. Plug one end of the CAT5 UTP into the available RJ45 port on the switch.
3. Plug the other end of the CAT5 UTP into the RJ45 port on the matching dongle. Connect the dongle to the
computer.
INSTALLATION TOGETHER WITH KS-3108 / KS-3116
1. Plug your PS/2 / USB keyboard, PS/2 / USB mouse and monitor into the console port section located on
the unit’s rear panel.
2. Plug one end of the CAT5 UTP into the available RJ45 port on the switch.
3. Plug the other end of the CAT5 UTP into the RJ45 port on KS-3108 / KS-3116.
ILLUSTRATION
OPEARTION
User can use hot key to do some switching operation.
Port Switch: Quickly press L CTRL and release it, and then press R CTRL to switch between the two ports.
Remote and Local Switch: When connected to KS-3108 / KS-3116, double click F12 to shift between local control and remote
control.
