We hope you enjoy your AUVIO Rugged Stereo Bluetooth
Speaker with True Wireless stereo sound capability. Tough
and water-resistant, this speaker is ideal for outdoors. It's also
designed with a built-in mic and speakerphone so you can take
calls as well as listen to music from your smartphone. Please
read this user's guide before using your new speaker.

1. Lift the cover on the bottom to access the jacks. Then
connect the supplied charging cable to the DC IN jack
and a USB power source.
I LED lights red during charging and turns o when fully
charged.
2. Unplug after charging, and rmly replace the cover to
protect the jacks from water, dust or dirt.

Notes:
The speaker will disconnect and power down from your
device if they are too far apart, or left idle. To reconnect,
move the speaker closer to the device within 5 minutes.
The last volume setting used on the speaker is memorized
after switching o.
Music playback is paused during call functions and
resumes when the call is ended.
Clear Bluetooth Pairing
Your speaker automatically reconnects to the most recently
paired device when switched on. If you want to change to other
Bluetooth devices, or in case of problems pairing, press and
hold I and + for 3 seconds.
Multipoint Connection
This speaker is multipoint-enabled. This allows you to easily
access and play music or take a call through the speaker from
either one of two connected Bluetooth devices.
1. To use multipoint, make sure you pair each of your
devices separately. See Pairing a Bluetooth Device.
2. There is no need to switch o the speaker to pair your
second device. Press and hold
/ 2 seconds to start
Bluetooth pairing your second device. Bluetooth status
on your rst device will automatically disconnect.
3. After your second device is successfully paired and
connected, to enjoy multipoint, go to the Bluetooth
menu on your rst device to reactivate Bluetooth
connection status. Both your devices are now connected.

Using True Wireless Mode
To play your music from your smartphone or other Bluetooth-
enabled device, for best sound performance you'll need an
additional AUVIO BTS800 speaker. Conveniently, there is no
need to pair the second speaker.
True Wireless Activation
Before you start activation or when using True Wireless mode,
make sure of the following:
Your rst speaker is paired before you setup True Wireless
mode.
Both speakers are on and in stop mode.
If you are using multipoint connection, you need to turn o
multipoint on one of your 2 Bluetooth devices.
1. Press the button on one speaker. The
/ LED
ashes quickly.
2. On another speaker, press the button, the
/
LED ashes quickly.
3. When True Wireless is successfully activated, the and
/ LEDs light steadily on both your speakers.
4. To swap left/right channel sound on your two speakers,
press and hold button for 2 seconds on either
speaker.
5. To exit True Wireless, press the button on either
speaker.
Notes:
Smart Power O: During True Wireless playback, press
and hold I for 2 seconds on either speaker to switch o
both speakers simultaneously.
Smart True Wireless: Once activated, True Wireless is
memorized by your speakers. True Wireless is the default
playback mode when you next switch on the two speakers.
Troubleshooting TW Activation: In case of diculty
activating, turn o each speaker. Then switch the rst
speaker on again, followed by the second speaker, and
start playing a song. Wait a few seconds to hear if True
Wireless has been activated. If not, repeat True Wireless
Activation and complete steps 1-3 above within 3
minutes.
Connecting with AUX
For device players without Bluetooth functionality, use an ⅛"
(3.5mm) audio cable (not included) to connect to the speaker’s
AUX jack.
Note: Bluetooth functionality is automatically deactivated
when playing music via AUX port.
Resetting the Speaker
In case the speaker's buttons are not functioning properly
during operation, press and hold + and - at the same time
for 5 seconds to reset and switch o the speaker. Any previous
TW activation will not be lost.

Notes:
You can charge the speaker and use it at the same time.
When the battery is low, the I LED ashes red slowly, and
the speaker will eventually automatically turn o.
Lithium Battery Notes:
Charge batteries on a reproof surface away from
ammable items or liquids. Follow the instructions for
charging the speaker and do not charge longer than
recommended.
Recycle lithium batteries. Do not dispose of them in the
trash. Do not burn or bury batteries. Do not puncture or
crush. Do not disassemble.
If the electrolyte in the cells should get on your skin,
thoroughly wash with soap and water. If in the eyes, rinse
thoroughly with cool water. Immediately seek medical
attention.
Pairing to a Bluetooth Device
1. Press and hold I for 2 seconds to turn on the speaker.
The
/LED ashes blue quickly as your speaker
searches for Bluetooth devices.
2. When pairing to a device for the rst time, press and hold
/ for 2 seconds to start Bluetooth pairing.
3. Activate your device’s Bluetooth function (refer to your
device’s user’s guide). When your device locates AUVIO
BTS800, select this from the device list. When paired, the
/indicator lights blue steadily.
4. Use the controls on your device to play music. To adjust
volume, you can use the speaker's +/ buttons, or your
device's controls.
5. During playback, press I to toggle between two EQ
options for indoor/ outdoor listening.
