GettingtoKnowYourModem
Howtostartyourmodem
1. Removethebackcover.
2. InserttheSIM/UMSIMcardintocardslotonbackofmodem.
3. InserttheUSBmodemintocomputer’sUSBport.
4. Whentheinstallationiscomplete,themodem’swebmanagementpageisdisplayed,themodemconnects
tothenetworkautomatically.Themodem’swebmanagementpagewillbedisplayedeverytime
automaticallywhenthemodemisinsertedintothecomputer.
Note:
DonotremovetheSIM/USIMcardwhenthecardisinuse.

SwitchtheUSB‐Modemoffbeforeboardinganaircraft.
SwitchtheUSB‐Modemoffwhenyouareinhealthcarefacilities,exceptindesignatedareas.Aswithmany
othertypesofequipmentnowinregularuse,theUSB‐Modemcaninterferewithotherelectricalor
electronicdevices,orequipment‐usingradiofrequencies.
SwitchtheUSB‐Modemoffwhenyouareneargasorflammableliquids.Strictlyobeyallsignsand
instructionspostedinafueldepot,petrolstation,chemicalplant,orinanypotentiallyexplosiveatmosphere.
WhentheUSB‐Modemisswitchedon,itshouldbekeptatleast15cmfromanymedicaldevicesuchasa
pacemaker,ahearingaidorinsulinpump,etc.
DonotletchildrenusetheUSB‐Modemwithoutsupervision.
