One pixelis the smallest area that can be manipulated by the computer.Resolution is always stated as the horizontal number of pixels by thevertical number of pixels. When you turn on the computer’s power, productinformation, such as manufacturer, screen size, resolution, timing table,which is included in monitor circuit board, is transferred to the VGACard. (DDC 1/2B) compatibility offers significant performanceadvantages by enabling monitor capabilities, including scanningfrequencies and image sizing, to be communicated automatically to theoperating system without the use of drivers or diskettes for installation.
