1 Sicherheit und Entsorgung

Um bestimmte Funktionen dieses Gerätes (vor allem das MessdatenManagement) nutzen zu können, müssen Sie den Testo CloudNutzungsbedingungen zustimmen, die Sie unter dem Login der jeweiligen testo
Anwendung auf www.testo.com/login finden.
Um bei Einsatztemperaturen unter -10°C die Batteriestandzeiten zu erreichen,
sollten Energizer L91 Lithium Batterien AAA verwendet werden.
Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur sach- und bestimmungsgemäß und innerhalb der in
den technischen Daten vorgegebenen Parameter. Wenden Sie keine Gewalt an.

Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn es Beschädigungen am Gehäuse
aufweist.

Auch von den zu messenden Anlagen bzw. dem Messumfeld können Gefahren
ausgehen: Beachten Sie bei der Durchführung von Messungen die vor Ort gültigen
Sicherheitsbestimmungen.

Temperaturangaben auf Sonden/Fühlern beziehen sich nur auf den Messbereich der
Sensorik. Setzen Sie Handgriffe und Zuleitungen keinen Temperaturen über 70 °C
(158 °F) aus, wenn diese nicht ausdrücklich für höhere Temperaturen zugelassen
sind.

Führen Sie keine Kontakt-Messungen an nicht isolierten, spannungsführenden Teilen
durch.

Transportieren und lagern Sie das Gerät ausschließlich in dem mitgelieferten Koffer,
um Beschädigungen am Sensor zu vermeiden.

Lagern Sie das Produkt nicht zusammen mit Lösungsmitteln. Verwenden Sie keine
Trockenmittel.

Führen Sie nur Wartungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten an diesem Gerät durch, die in
der Dokumentation beschrieben sind. Halten Sie sich dabei an die vorgegebenen
Handlungsschritte. Verwenden Sie nur Original-Ersatzteile von Testo.
Datenlogger BAL/01
Batterien und Akkus

Die unsachgemäße Verwendung von Batterien und Akkus kann zur Zerstörung der
Batterien und Akkus, Verletzungen durch Stromstöße, Feuer oder zum Auslaufen von
chemischen Flüssigkeiten führen.

Setzen Sie die mitgelieferten Batterien und Akkus nur entsprechend den Anweisungen
in der Bedienungsanleitung ein.

Schließen Sie die Batterien und Akkus nicht kurz.

Nehmen Sie die Batterien und Akkus nicht auseinander und modifizieren Sie sie nicht.

Setzen Sie die Batterien und Akkus nicht starken Stößen, Wasser, Feuer oder
Temperaturen über 60 °C aus.

Lagern Sie die Batterien und Akkus nicht in der Nähe von metallischen
Gegenständen.

Bei Kontakt mit Batterieflüssigkeit: Waschen Sie die betroffenen Regionen gründlich
mit Wasser aus und konsultieren Sie gegebenenfalls einen Arzt.

Verwenden Sie keine undichten oder beschädigten Batterien und Akkus.

Laden Sie den Akku nur im Gerät oder in der empfohlenen Ladestation.

Brechen Sie den Ladevorgang unverzüglich ab, falls dieser in der angegebenen Zeit
nicht abgeschlossen sein sollte.

Entnehmen Sie den Akku sofort aus dem Gerät oder der Ladestation, wenn er nicht
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert oder Anzeichen von Überhitzung zeigt. Akku kann heiß
sein!

Entnehmen Sie den Akku bei längerem Nichtgebrauch aus dem Gerät, um eine
Tiefentladung zu vermeiden.

Entsorgen Sie defekte Akkus / leere Batterien entsprechend den gültigen gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen.

Führen Sie das Produkt nach Ende der Nutzungszeit der getrennten Sammlung für
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte zu (lokale Vorschriften beachten) oder geben Sie das
Produkt an Testo zur Entsorgung zurück.

General safety instructions

Only use the product properly, for the purpose intended and within the parameters
specified in the technical data. Do not apply any force.

Do not commission the instrument if there are signs of damage on the housing.

Dangers may also arise from the systems being measured or the measuring
environment: always comply with the locally valid safety regulations when carrying out
measurements.

Temperature information given on probes relates only to the measuring range of the
sensor technology. Do not expose handles and feed lines to temperatures in excess of
70°C (158°F), unless they are expressly authorized for use at higher temperatures.

Do not perform any contact measurements on uninsulated, live parts.

Do not store the product together with solvents. Do not use any desiccants.

Only perform maintenance and repair work on this instrument that is described in the
documentation. Follow the prescribed steps exactly. Use only original spare parts from
Testo.

Batteries

Improper use of batteries may cause the batteries to be destroyed, or lead to injury
due to current surges, fire or escaping chemicals.

Only use the batteries supplied in accordance with the instructions in the instruction
manual.

Do not short-circuit the batteries.

Do not take the batteries apart and do not modify them.

Do not expose the batteries to heavy impacts, water, fire or temperatures in excess of
60 °C.

Do not store the batteries in the proximity of metal objects.

In the event of contact with battery acid: rinse affected areas thoroughly with water,
and if necessary consult a doctor.

Do not use any leaky or damaged batteries.

Only charge the rechargeable battery in the instrument or in the recommended
charging station.

Immediately stop the charging process if this is not completed in the given time.

Take the rechargeable battery out of the instrument or the charging station
immediately if it is not functioning properly or if it shows signs of overheating.
Rechargeable battery may be hot!

When not in use for a long period of time, take the rechargeable battery out of the
instrument to prevent exhaustive discharge.

Dispose of faulty rechargeable batteries/spent batteries in accordance with the valid
legal specifications.

At the end of its useful life, send the product to the separate collection for electric and
electronic devices (observe local regulations) or return the product to Testo for
disposal.
