Safety Instructions forFluorescent WorklightsREAD ALL INSTRUCTIONS - WARNING:When portable fixtures are used outdoors basic safety precautions should always befollowed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following:A. Use only three wire outdoor extension cords that have three prong grounding plugsand grounding receptacles that accept the appliances plug.B. Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuit(s)or outlet(s) to be used for the wet location portable fixture.C. If plug does not full fit in outlet, reverse the direction. If it stilldoes not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with anextension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Trouble ShootingIf light does not work check the following:A. Be sure you have power at the source and fixture is properlyplugged into the power source.B. Be sure that bulb is properly and screwed in all the way.C. Bulb may have been damaged in shipment. Check lamp withanother bulb or check bulb with a continuity tester. If bad,replace bulb with a new bulb.D. Depress on/off switch on rear of unit.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!54ENGLISHINSTALLING BULBAlways unplug fixture before installing/changing bulb.On rear of fixture unscrew three screws on top edge, and threescrews on bottom edge, remove lens. Take lamp out of box andscrew into mogul base socket. Grip bulb only at base, to preventbreaking glass tubes. Do not screw in too tightly. Use DesignersEdge model number L-765 65 watt bulb for L-2300. Replace lensby fitting in place and replacing screws.SET UPAlways use fixture with power cord pointing down. Housingattaches to U-base with straight black knob. Plug unit into 120V60 Hz AC outlet only, depress toggle switch in upper left corneron rear of housing, light will come on. Never use with an extensioncord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to defeatthis safety feature.POSITIONINGYou can direct beam of light by loosening straight knob on sideof housing.  Aim light to desired angle and tighten.
