SETTING THE RINGER
SOUND

To answer a call when the handset

INTERCOM
The intercom feature of your
cordless phone allows you to have
a two-way conversation between
the handset and the base unit
without tying up the telephone line.
Since the telephone line is not
being used, you can still receive
incoming calls.
USING INTERCOM
FROM 1115 HANDSET
1. Make sure the phone is OFF.
2. Press the |NT button. A paging
tone sounds at the base. (To
cancel intercom, press INT
again.)
3. Wait for the person nearthe base
to press the PAGE INTERCOM
button.
A. When finished, press |NT on the
handset (or PAGE INTERCOM on
the base) to deactivate the
intercom.

WHEN You HAVE A CALL
You may want to use the intercom
feature while you are on a call.
1. Press the FORM/HOLD button [or
HOLD on the base] to put the call
on hold, HOLD shows on the
display.
2. Follow the steps 2-4 in either the
handset or base ”Using
Inlercom” section to complete
the intercom.
3. When finished, press FORM!

Press the RE/PA bullon lo redial the
last number you dialed, (up to 24
digits)
FLASH BUTTON
Use the FLASH bullon to activate
custom calling services such as call
waiting or call transfer, which
are available through your local
phone company.
TIP: Don't use the TALK button to

TEMPORARY TONE
This feature enables Pulse (rotaryl
service phone users to access
touch-tone services offered by
banks, credit card companies, etc,,
by pressing the TONE button to
temporarily make the phonetouch-
tone compatible. To get information
about your bank account, for
example, you would:
1, Call the bank‘s information line,
2. Pressthe TONE button (“l after
yourcall is answered,
3. Follow the voice instructions to
complete your transaction.
4. Hang up when finished, The
phone returns to Pulse (rotary)
service.

on holds

feature when you have callers on
both lines and wantto have a three-
way conversatiun.

FINDING THE HANDSET

misplaced handset,

any button on the handset.

The RINGER switch must be ON for
the handset to ring during incoming
calls.

Provided your phone company
offers voice messaging service and
you subscribe to it, the CHARGE
light on ma base will flash when
the phone is not in use 10 indicare
there is a message wailing. It will
stop flashing after the message has
been reviewed.

RECEIVING AND STORING CALLS
When you receive a call, the information is transmitted by the phone
company to your Caller ID Telephone between the first and second ring,
When the memory is full, a new call automatically replaces the oldest call
in memory. NEW appears in the display for calls received that have not
been reviewed.
