1. Before Use
1.1. Safety Precautions

1.3.3 LED Signal Shown During Operation
Green When authentication has failed, when the lid of the terminal is opened
Red When authentication is successful.
1.3.4 Keys Used During Operation
[0] ~[9] - Keys used for numeric input.
[F1] - When put IP, it is used as dot (.)
[F4(Í)] - When you put numbers, it is used as Delete.
- Use the [F4 (←)] key to cancel input during setting
[ENT] - Used for accessing the menu when pressed on the initial screen
- Used for moving to set next value in main menu.
- Used to apply the configuration to the current screen in menu mode and
then exiting to the parent menu.

1.4. How to unplugged terminal power supply safely
When you put [ENT] for 3seconds, LED of keypad is off and then on with Beep sound. After taking
off your finger, the following left screen appears. If you press [F1] 4times and [ENT], the following
right screen appears. If you press [ENT], terminal is restart safely. At that time, you make it
disconnect.

2. Product Introduction
2.1. Features
Slim and polished design
- Easy to install as it is designed as a standalone type; Slim and elegant design using Colour LCD
and Touch Keys
Change the LCD background image and voice using USB.
- Provides a variety of information messages via the colour LCD screen and voices. You can
download background images and voice messages suing USB. Also, the built-in LCD Screen
Backlight and Touch Key LEDs allow the screen to be read and keys to be operated in dark
conditions.
Designed to IP65 rainproof specification – Outdoor installation is possible.
Access Management System Using a Network (LAN)
- Communication is carried out between the fingerprint recognition device and authentication
server using TCP/IP protocol, and allows for easy expansion as it can be applied to the network
as is. 10/100 Mbps Auto Detection ensures high-speed operation. Enables easy management and
monitoring via the network.
Provides a Diverse and Flexible Access Management
- Provides a perfect control function by granting entrance/access rights by user group.

3. Environment Settings
3.1. Enter the Menu.
When you put [ENT] for 3seconds, LED of keypad is off and then on with Beep sound. After taking
off your finger, the following screen appears. The initial password is 2345.
3.1.1 When you forget password
You make your terminal to be disconnect. Door state is changed to gray . (You can’t change
password while using terminal.) Make /xid30/pw folder in USB and connect USB and terminal.
After 10 seconds, put [F1],[1],[F2],[2] and [ENT] at admin main menu. If you do so, initial password
is changed.

3.2.1 Network
- If pressing [1] at Admin main menu, the following screen appears
3.2.1.1 Terminal IP and Server IP setting
- If you want to change it, press [1] and select <1. Terminal IP>. When you set IP, [F1] is for “.”(dot)
The user can exit to the parent menu using the [ENT~] key to apply the changed values. Use the
[F4 (←)] key to cancel input during setting.
- After pressing [2] and select <2.Sever IP>, you can change it same as <1. Terminal IP>.

3.3.1 System Setting
- Put [2] at a main menu, and the following screen appears
3.3.1.1 Language
- Selete <1. Language> as putting [1]. You can change what you want as putting [1]or [2].
The user can exit to the parent menu using the [ENT~] key to apply the changed values. Use the
[F4 (←)] key to cancel input during setting.
3.3.1.2 Volume
- You press [1] and select <2. Volume>. You can change what you want pressing [0] ~ [5]. The
user can exit to the parent menu using the [ENT~] key to apply the changed values. Use the [F4
()] key to cancel input during setting. If you select that volume is 0, sound or beep sound is not
output.

3.3.1.3 Initialization
- If you want to initialize what you set, press [1]. If you want to delete data, press [2]. If you want
to initialize terminal, press [3]
- When you press key you want, the following screens appear. If you want to initialize, press [ENT].
If you want to cancel it, press [F4Å]. If you select Initialization, terminal is reset after initializing.
- Setting initialization initializes all data of terminal without MAC address. However, it doesn’t
initialize files and logs related with authorization.
- Data initialization initializes files and logs related with authorization.

- Terminal initialization initializes the whole of terminal.
3.3.1.4 Door Control
- Designates the time the door is opened and closed again when authentication is successful.
Minimum value is 1 sec and maximum value is 9sec.
- <1. Door open> is for that door opens and closes one time. <2. Door open by force> is for that
door is always opened. <3. Door open clear> is for that <2> is made to close.
- The user can exit to the parent menu using the [ENT~] key to apply the changed values. Use the
[F4 (←)] key to cancel input during setting.
3.3.1.5 Password
-It’s for changing password. When you set password, you can set 4~8 digit using numbers 0 to 9.
The initial password is 2345.

3.3.1.6 Background image
- Its for changing background image. You can select it you want using [1],[2]. The user can exit to
the parent menu using the [ENT~] key to apply the changed values. Use the [F4 (←)] key to cancel
input during setting.
3.4.1 Application
- If pressing [3] at admin main menu, the following screen appears.
- You can select application type pressing number you want. The user can exit to the parent menu
using the [ENT~] key to apply the changed values. Use the [F4 (←)] key to cancel input during
setting. The initial value is attendance as 1.

3.5.1 Terminal Info
- If you press [4] at Admin main menu, the following screen appears.
- You can check terminal version and Door open state from Terminal Info.
3.6.1 Option
- You can see the following screen appears if pressing [5].
- Lamp (Yes or No) : If setting that Lamp is yes and Look Controller is connected with it, when
authentication is successful, blue of lamp light is on and When authentication is fail, red of lamp
is on.
- External sensor (Yes or No) : If you set external sensor us Yes and Lock Controller is connected
with it, terminal can detect value of external sensor.
- Case Tamper Audible (ON or OFF) : When you set Case Tamper Audible is ON, If bracket
connected with terminal is disconnected, warning sound or message box appears.
- SAM authorization setting (Yes or No) : If you set SAM authorization setting is YES, when
authentication is only successful using card, door opens.
- IN/OUT setting(IN or OUT) : If you connect Lock Controller with two XID terminals, one terminal
is set as IN and the other one is set OUT.
