Interface DescriptionReset ButtonThere are two methods to reset the U FiberOLT to factory defaults:•  Runtime reset (recommended)  The U FiberOLT should be running after bootup is complete. Press and hold the Reset button for about 10seconds until the MGMT LED starts flashing and then becomes solidly lit. After a few seconds, the LED will turn off, and the U FiberOLT will automatically reboot. Note: To press the Reset button, insert a straightened paper clip (or similar object) into the hole shown above. Do not use an object that can break and become lodged in the hole.•  Power-on reset  Disconnect the Power Cord from the U FiberOLT. Press and hold the Reset button while connecting the Power Cord to the U FiberOLT. Keep holding the button until the MGMT LED starts flashing and then stops flashing after a few seconds.

Hardware InstallationThe U FiberOLT can be placed on a horizontal surface, mounted on a wall, or mounted in a rack.1.  Attach the Mounting Brackets to the U FiberOLT using the eight Bracket Screws.2.  Attach the U FiberOLT to the rack using the four Mounting Screws. (If the rack has square slots, then use the Cage Nuts with the Mounting Screws.)
3.  Connect the Power Cord to the AC/DC PSU  Module.4.  Connect the other end of the Power Cord to a power outlet.
Connecting PON1.  Remove the protective plug covering a PON port.2.  Insert the GPON SFP Transceiver into the PON port.3.  Connect a fiber optic cable to the GPON SFP Transceiver. Then connect the other end of the cable to a Passive Optical Splitter (POS).4.  Repeat steps 1-3 to connect additional PON ports.Note: One GPON SFP transceiver (model UF-GP-B+) is included. Use compatible PON SFP transceivers with the appropriate fiber optic cabling at each PON port.
Connecting SFP+1.  Remove the protective plug covering an SFP+ port.2.  Insert a compatible SFP transceiver into the SFP+ port.1000Mbps SM/SC 20KM DDMTx1550nm/Rx1310nm3.  Connect the fiber optic cable to the SFP transceiver. Then connect the other end of the cable to an SFP device.
Accessing the Configuration Interface1.  Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to the MGMT port on the U FiberOLT.2.  Configure the Ethernet adapter on your host system with a static IP address on the 192.168.1.x subnet.3.  Launch your web browser. Type https://192.168.1.1 in the address field. Press enter (PC) or return (Mac). 4.  The login screen will appear. Enter ubnt in the Username and Password fields. Read the Ubiquiti License Agreement, and check the box next to I agree to the terms of this License Agreement to accept it. Click Login.The U Fiber Configuration Interface will appear, allowing you to customize your settings as needed.
Installing UNMS™The Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS) is a Linux-based controller software used to centrally manage the U FiberOLT and U Fiber Nano G clients. For the latest UNMS version and installation guide, visit: www.ubnt.com/software

Limited WarrantyUBIQUITI NETWORKS, Inc (“UBIQUITI NETWORKS”) warrants that the product(s) furnished hereunder (the “Product(s)”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment by UBIQUITI NETWORKS under normal use and operation. UBIQUITI NETWORKS’ sole and exclusive obligation and liability under the foregoing warranty shall be for UBIQUITI NETWORKS, at its discretion, to repair or replace any Product that fails to conform to the above warranty during the above warranty period. The expense of removal and reinstallation of any Product is not included in this warranty. The warranty period of any repaired or replaced Product shall not extend beyond its original term.
