The Systems called RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) has two separate units: A Receiver and  a Transmitter. The Receiver is located in the Vehicle and the Transmitter is carry by the User.  The Function consists in allowing the remote control of the Vehicle Door Lock and Unlock Other convenience functions such as open the Trunk, controls the Power Windows Up and Down and PANIC for added Security.  Door Lock: Press the Lock Button and released, the LED lights on the Transmitter.  Door UnLock: Press the Unlock Button and released, the LED lights on the Transmitter.  Trunk: Press and Hold the Trunk Button, the LED will blink once on the Transmitter.  PANIC: The PANIC button is use for Alert Attentions and added security to the User. If at any time the user feel he or she is in a danger situation or want to alert others to stay away from the Vehicle, the User can Press and Hold the PANIC Button for 1.5 second- The Horn will sound and Lights will flash for up to 30 second, until the Panic Time Out. If more  alert  is needed,  the  user  can  press and  Hold  the  PANIC Button  again for 1.5 second.  To Stop the PANIC Alert, simple perform a “Quick press” of any buttons.   Power Windows:  (Up and Down) To use the Power Windows-    • Windows UP: Press and Hold the LOCK button for 1.5 second. The Windows glass will go up until it has reached the top of the window. • If for any reason, the User want to Stop the window glass from going up, simply perform a “Quick Press”, on the Lock button, this will stop the window glass at it’s current location.  • Windows Down:  Press and Hold the Unlock Button for 1.5 second. The Windows   glass will go down until it has reached the bottom of the window. • If for any reason, the User want to Stop the window glass from going down, simply perform a “Quick Press”, on the Unlock button, this will stop the window glass at it’s current location   Receiver/immobilizer Instructions :  Immobilizer function :  • When the user insert the key, the immobilizer checks the key and, if it is valid, allows the Engine Control Unit  to start of the engine. If someone attempts to start the engine with an unrecognised key, the immobilizer will not allow to start the engine. In any case the immobilizer can stop the engine   Receiver function:  • The receiver recognize a button press on a  remote control, checks if it is valid and  transmit the command of door lock/unlock, trunk, windows and sliding doors controls  Note  The keys carry a unique electronic code. For this reason and to ensure your safety, replacement keys are only possible through an authorised Honda dealer. Always keep a replacement key in case one is lost. If a key is lost contact an authorised Honda dealer as soon as possible
  Maintenance Honda cannot guarantee the system’s operation if the system has been modified or if any added on equipment has been installed to it. In case of a problem with the immobilizer system or the key, consult an authorised Honda dealer. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.   Radiofrequency radiation exposure Information:  The radiated output power of the device is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits. Nevertheless, the device shall be used in such a manner that the potential for human contact during normal operation is minimized.
