Vansco states with this letter that we will give a notification to each vehicle manufacturer regarding
installation 740001 True Ground Speed Sensor. Notification will contain a request that Compliance
Statements, FlF Exposure Statement and Caution Statement be included in their manual.
Please find enclosed an excerpt from commercial specification: drawing of True Ground Speed
Sensor mounting location on the vehicle per Figure 1. By nature of mounting location the product
complies to requirement called out in 2.1091 (distance to human body >205m)
The sensor can be installed at a height between 2
and 4 feet (0.6 — 1.2 m) above the ground or above
the top of a crop. The small size of the sensor
simplifies mounting on the vehicle.

Following statements will be sent to Vehicle Manufacturer to be included in Users/lnstalation Manual:
Humanism
The 7400001 True Ground Speed Sensor complies with the HF exposure limits for humans as called
out in 2.1091 ( mobile >20cm). The TGSS is mounted on the bottom of agricultural vehicles.
It is exempt from HF Evaluation based on its operating frequency (24,125 GHz, XXXXXmW) which is
less than 1.9W requirement for a mobile device operating at 24.125GHz.
When mounted, it shall be located at least 20 cm from a human body.
For customers in the USA
FCC statement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1)This device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference that may cause undesired operation.
Caution
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could
void the users authority to operate the equipment.
For customers in Canada
This device complies with IC:FiSS-210
The term “lC” before the radio certification number only signifies that industry Canada specifications
were met.
Please find enclosed a sample of letter Vansco will send to vehicle manufacturers.
