NOTES:
1. The AC/DC Adaptor is intended to be correctly orientated in a vertical or floor mount
position.
2. If the AC/DC Adaptor is disconnected or if there is a power failure, this electronic clock is
designed to continue operating internally (without showing the time on the Clock Display)
with 1 x 9V battery (not included). Install the batteries as follows:
• Open the battery door on the rear of the unit by presses the tabs and then lifting it.
• Install a 9V battery to the battery cap. (Alkaline batteries are recommended for longer
playing time.)
• Replace the battery door.

REMOTE CONTROL:
• First Time Use
Remove and discard the insulation film as the figure on the right.
• Replacing the button cell when it is consume:
1. Push and slide out the battery holder as figure 1 below.
2. Replace the button cell with new CR2025 button cell as the polarity
markings on the rear of the Remote Control.
3. Close the battery holder.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these Battery Precaution when using a battery in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery
compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries
with fresh ones.
4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long period of
time, remove the battery to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge the battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture.
(Follow battery manufacturer’s directions.)
6. Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may explodes or leak.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
8. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it
can cause severe internal burn in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close
securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek
immediate medical attention.
OPERATION:
GENERAL OPERATION:
1. Connect the unit to AC power as previously instructed.
2. Press the FUNCTION/ (Standby) Button on the unit or Remote Control to turn on the unit
from standby mode.
3. Press the FUNCTION/ (Standby) Button repeatedly to switch to desired playback mode.
The correspondent indicator will illuminate (or appear on the LED Display ) with your
selection (see list below):
Playback Mode:

Radio FM Band
Radio AM Band
BT (Bluetooth)

4. During playback, press the VOL +/HOUR or VOL -/MIN Buttons on the unit (or the VOL
+/H or VOL -/M Buttons on the Remote Control) to adjust volume level as desired.
5. When finished listening, press and hold the FUNCTION/ (Standby) Button on the unit or
Remote Control approximate 1 second to turn the unit to standby mode.
PHONE JACK:
For private listening, insert the 3.5mm plug of the earphone/headphone (not included) to the
PHONES Jack on the left side of unit. The speaker will disconnect automatically.
TIME SET:
To set or reset the actual time:
1. In Standby mode, press the PROG/M/TIME SET Button on the unit or press the TIME SET
Button on the Remote Control to enter to time set mode. Time on display will blink.
2. Press the VOL +/HOUR Button on the unit or the VOL +/H button on the Remote Control to
set hour.
(Make sure the PM Indicator on the display is illuminate if the time is PM and not light if the
time is AM).
3. Press the VOL -/MIN Button on the unit or the VOL -/M button on the Remote Control to set
minute.
4. When finished, press the PROG/M/TIME SET Button on the unit or press the TIME SET
Button on the Remote Control to save the settings, time on display will stop blinking.
ALARM :
To set or reset the alarm time:
Alarm 1 setting:
1. In Standby mode, press and hold the ALARM 1 Button on the unit or Remote Control, alarm
1 time will appear on the display and blink.
2. Press the VOL +/HOUR Button on the unit or VOL+/H Button on the Remote Control to set
hour.
(Make sure PM Indicator is illuminate if the alarm time is PM and not light if the alarm time
is AM).
3. Press the VOL -/MIN Button on the unit or VOL-/M Button on the Remote Control to set
minute.
4. Press ALARM 1 Button again to save the setting and exit. The display will resume to actual
time.
5. After setting:
Press the ALARM 1 Button once to activate the alarm function and set the wake up mode to
buzz. AL 1 Indicator will illuminate.
Press the ALARM 1 Button twice to activate the alarm function and set the wake up mode
to CD.
Press the ALARM 1 Button three times to activate the alarm function and set the wake up
mode to Radio FM Band.
Press the ALARM 1 Button four times to activate the alarm function and set the wake up
mode to Radio AM Band.
Press the ALARM 1 Button five times to turn off alarm. AL 1 Indicator will not light.

• Press the Button on the unit or Remote Control to pause: press again to resume normal
playback.

SD Card Playback:
1. Insert the SD Card (up to 32 GB; with MP3 files)
into the SD Card Slot with contact fingers face to
rear on the Left side of the unit as the figure on the right:
Alarm 2 setting:
Same as Alarm 1 settings. But, press the ALARM 2 Button instead of ALARM 1 Button.
Important Notes:
1. Alarm will not operation when the unit is in power on mode.
2. If radio was selected, received the desired radio station before activate alarm. Make sure the
volume was set to suitable level. Otherwise, when Alarm goes off, no sound output from the
speaker or sound weak.
Shut off alarm:
When alarm goes off, press the FUNCTION/
(Standby) Button on the unit or Remote Control
to shut it off. Alarm will turn on again on next day. To turn off alarm completely (alarm will not
turn on next day), press the Alarm 1 or 2 Button repeatedly until the correspondence alarm indicator
turned off.
Snooze:
The alarm can be temporarily turned off manually by pressing the SNOOZE/ Button on the
unit or SNOOZE Button on Remote Control; the alarm will turn back on automatically nine
(9) minutes later. This feature can be repeated until the the FUNCTION/
(Standby) Button
on the unit or Remote Control was pressed.
Sleep Timer:
In the power on mode, press the SLEEP Button to activate the sleep function, SLEEP time will
appear on the display. Press the SLEEP Button repeatedly to set the sleep timer to 15– 120 minutes
as desire. To turn off the sleep timer before time up, press and hold the FUNCTION/ (Standby)
Button to power off the unit.
BT (Bluetooth):
The first time you use the unit or pair it to a new Bluetooth Device, pair it as follows:
1. Power on the unit from standby mode and enter to BT (Bluetooth) mode as previously
instructed. “bt” will appear on the display and blink.
2. Power on the external BT Device and enter to BT searching mode. Start pairing following
on screen instructions from the external BT Device. After pairing, the “bt” on the display
will stop blinking.
3. Plays the music in the paired BT Device as usual.
4. During playback:
• Press the Button on the unit or Remote Control to pause: press again to resume normal
playback.
• Press the TUNE +/
or TUNE -/
Buttons on the unit or the /
Buttons on the
Remote Control to skip tracks.
Notes:
• When the external Bluetooth Device searched the unit, our model number “CM427BT”
will appear on the display of external Bluetooth Device.
• Pairing code “0000” or “1234” may need to enter.
Normal operation after pairing:
1. Power on the external BT Device and enter to BT mode.
2. Power on the unit from standby mode and enter to BT (Bluetooth) mode as previously
instructed. “bt” will appear on the display and blink.
3. Wait a few seconds until the unit is auto paired to the external BT Device, “bt” on display
will stop blinking.
4. Plays the music in the paired BT Device as usual
USB Playback:
1. Insert the USB Device (up to 32 GB; with MP3 files) into the USB Port on the Left side
of the unit.
2. Power on the unit from standby mode and enter to USB (playback) mode as previously
instructed. “USb” will appear on the display and blink.
3. Wait a few seconds, “USb” on display will stop blinking and the unit will start to plays the
MP3 files in the USB Device automatically.
• Press the REPEAT Button on the unit or the
Button on the Remote Control twice to
play all the tracks on the current disc repeatedly. The REP Indicator will stop blinking.
• Press the REPEAT Button on the unit or the
Button on the Remote Control three times
to cancel repeat playback. The REP Indicator will turn off.
Programmed Playback:
1. In stop playback mode, press the PROG/M/TIME SET Button on the unit or MEM PROG
Button on the Remote Control, “01” will appear on the display.
2. Select the first specific track to be programmed by pressing the TUNE+/
or TUNE -/
Buttons on the unit or
Button on the Remote Control.
3. Press the PROG/M/TIME SET Button on the unit or MEM/PROG Button on the Remote
Control again to store the selected track into the memory. The PROG Indicator will illuminate
and blink.
4. Repeat same steps until all the specific tracks stored into the memory.
5. Press the (Play/Pause) Button on the unit or Remote Control to start playback.
6. To stop program playback, press the SNOOZE / Button on the unit or the Button on
the Remote Control twice. The PROG Indicator will turn off.
2. Power on the unit from standby mode and enter to SD Card (playback) mode as previously
instructed. “Sd” will appear on the display and blink.
3. Wait a few seconds, “Sd” on display will stop blinking and the unit will start to plays the
MP3 files in the SD Card automatically.
4. During playback:
• Press the
Button on the unit or Remote Control to pause: press again to resume normal
playback.
• Press the TUNE +/
or TUNE -/
Buttons on the unit or the
Buttons on the
Remote Control to skip tracks.
AUX (in):
To listen the music from the external audio device such as MP3 Player; Discman; iPods ... etc
as follows:
1. Connected the external audio device by an audio connection cable with 3.5mm stereo plug
on both ends (Cable not included).
2. Insert one end to the AUX IN Jack on the left of unit. Insert the other end to the Phones
Jack; Line Out Jack or AUX Out Jack on the external audio device.
3. Power on the unit by press the FUNCTION/ (Standby) Button.
4. Press the FUNCTION/ (Standby) Button repeatedly until the AUX Indicator illuminate.
Notes:
A. When inserting the USB Device/SD Card, make sure the direction you selected is correct.
Never insert violently to avoid damaging the USB Device; SD Card or the unit. If it doesn’t
work, please check if the direction is correct.
B. Please download the MP3 files into the USB Device/SD Card through the Computer before
insert into the unit
TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Check the following before requesting service:
Radio:
1. Power on the unit from standby mode and enter to Radio AM or FM Band as desire. The
AM or FM Indictors will illuminate.
2. Press and hold the TUNE-/
or TUNE +/
Buttons on the unit or
/ Button on the
Remote Control to auto search and plays the previous/next available radio stations. The
frequency of it will shows on the display.
3. Repeat the same procedure until the desired station was searched.
Radio stations presetting:
1. Receive the desired radio station as the previously procedure.
2. Press the PROG/M/TIME SET Button on the unit or MEM/PROG Button on the Remote Control,
"P XX" (XX is the current program number) will appear on the display and blinking.
3. Press the M - or M + Button on the unit or / Button on the Remote Control repeatedly to
select the program number (P 01 – P 20) you want stored to. Then press the PROG/M/TIME
SET Button on the unit or MEM/PROG Button on the Remote Control again to store it.
4. Repeat the same procedures until all the desired radio stations were stored into the program list.
5. After settings, press the M- or M+ Button on the unit or / Button on the Remote Control to
select the desired stored radio station to play.
CD:
CD Playback:
1. Open the CD door by slide the CD OPEN Switch upward. Place a CD disc on the center spindle,
with the printed label side up.
2. Close the CD Door.
3. Power on the unit from standby mode and enter to CD (playback) mode as the previously
instructed. “- -“ will appear on the display and blink.
4. Wait a few seconds until the total number of tracks appears on the display. Then press the
Button on the unit or Remote Control to start playback.
Repeat Playback:
During CD playback:
• Press the REPEAT Button on the unit or the
Button on the remote control once to play
current track repeatedly. The REP Indicator will illuminate and blink.
