Mobile Mark's high frequency antennas are designed for
new microwave systems, including U-NII wireless net-
working applications. These advanced designs accom-
modate the high-speed wideband performance that the
new services will provide.
The directional corner reflectors use a half-wavelength
element configuration. A unique balun fed design pro-
vides high efficiency radiation without skewing the
radiation pattern. The result is excellent bandwidth, gain

and match over the frequency range. One model covers
both of the lower bands (5.15 - 5.35 GHz) and another
covers the upper band. Each reflector panel is only 3" x
3". The antenna element is protected in an ABS radome,
the panels are irridited for all-weather protection. The
female N connector exits at the back of the corner. The
mounting hardware provided allows for pole or surface
mount, U-bolts are included.
The omni antennas use an array of uniquely phased
elements stacked vertically. This compresses the
antennas beamwidth for vertical gain, while maintaining a
uniform omni pattern in the azimuth. The unique phasing
maintains excellent frequency response. The array is
protected in a black ABS radome. The entire assembly is
only 18 inches long, with the radome diameter only 1".
Windloading on this antenna is negligible. An offset
mounting plate is provided with U- bolts allowing pole,
ceiling or surface/offset mounting. The antenna termi-
nates with a female N connector for maximum reliability.
