Whilst awake both buttons operate and the tag has its standard beacon rate, when asleep both buttons operate and there is no beacon rate.   The LED will flash once when button one which is closest to the LED is pressed and twice when button 2 is pressed in both Asleep and Awake settings. In security applications it is often used awake with  its  beacon  being  used  to  locate personnel within and zone and to detect any alarms.  In control applications the TGF tag can be combined  with  the  RX211  access  reader which  when  suitably  configured  can  open either  set  of  relays  corresponding  to  either button 1  or  button 2  being  pressed on  the TGF-A.
