The preinstalled wireless modules have been tested and found to comply with the limits for the Class B
digital device regarding FCC Part 15 Subpart B. Refer to “Electronic emission notices” on page 5.
The wireless module in your tablet is preinstalled by Lenovo®, and you are prohibited to replace with other
wireless adapter nor remove it. If the device requires replacement due to some problem during warranty, it
must be serviced by a Lenovo authorized servicer.

Nevertheless,itshallbeusedinsuchamannerthatthepotentialforhumancontactduringnormaloperation
isminimizedasfollows:
CAUTION:
TheradiatedenergyfromtheantennasconformstotheFCClimitoftheSAR(SpecificAbsorption
Rate)requirementregarding47CFRPart2Section1093,whenthetabletoperatesintheconventional
setting.TheSARisdeterminedtomeasureatthehighestpowerlevelineachfrequencyband.
However,theactualSARlevelintheoperationbandsiswellbelowthemaximumvalueinsome
measurementplots.Becausethetabletadjuststhecellulartransmissionpowerautomaticallybased
upontheproximitytothehumanbodyandorientation.Namely,thecloserdistancetoyoufromthe
tablet,thelowerthecellulartransmissionpowerlevel.Thetablethasbeentestedandfoundto
meettheFCCRFexposureguidelines.

UltraConnect™wirelessantennas”inUserGuide.
SimultaneoususeofRFtransmitters
YourtabletisapprovedforsimultaneoususeofoneoftheapprovedwirelessLANmodules,theapproved
wirelessWANmodule,andtheapprovedNFCmodule.Foralistofthosetransmitters,refertothefollowing:

MakesureofthefollowingconditionswhenyouuseanyotherexternalRFoptiondevice:

2.YoumustfollowtheRFSafetyinstructionsoftheRFoptiondevicethatareincludedintheusermanual

WhenyouuseawirelessLANmoduleinthe802.11a/ntransmissionmode,notethathighpowerradarsare
allocatedasprimaryusersofthe5250to5350MHzand5650to5850MHzbands.Theseradarstationscan
causeinterferencewithand/ordamagethisdevice.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

MHzbandscomplieswiththee.i.r.p.limit.

ThetabletsemploylowgainintegralantennasthatdonotemitRFfieldinexcessofHealthCanada

Le module réseau local sans fil de votre ordinateur est préinstallé par L enovo. Il vous est interdit de le

ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuant

airportorhospital),youareencouragedtoaskforauthorizationtouseawirelessdevicepriortoturningon
thetablet.
