Instruction of X16 Bluetooth Headset Thanks for purchasing Padmate X16 Bluetooth Headset. Please pair the headset with your phone before using it, or you will not be able to use the headset. Please read through the instruction below before using. I. IMPORTANCE BEFORE USING: The unit was designed and produced according to the related quality requests and safety standards. Please read through the following operation instructions before using it: - Read and keep well these instructions; - Do not use or operate the it where it is forbidden of using, for example, airplanes and hospitals; - Do not use or operate the it according to the local laws and rules, for example, do not use it when driving; - Do not use or operate it when you are close to explosive or flammable sources, eg, gas station etc; - Do not hit or throw or open the unit by force as it may cause damage to the device; - Do not put the unit near heat sources, e.g, stoves,heat registers and radiators etc; - Keep the unit away from wet, water or other liquids that might cause short circuit or malfunctions; - Keep the unit and its accessories away from children to prevent being swallowed - For special users, such as patients who use heart pacemakers, audiphones and built-in cochlea devices etc, please follow the advice of doctors. - Using it below minus 10  ℃  or above 50  ℃  could shorten the life span of battery.  2.3 Charging and battery  Please use the original USB cable provided for charging.  Warning: Using unmatched USB cable for charging might damage the device. Also, you are not permitted to take the battery out of the device in case of damage and danger. Suggested input power is DC 5V, 100mA-2A max.   and Operations    3.1 How to pair 1. Please set the distance between Bluetooth headset and mobile phone (or other connecting device) within 1 meter, the closer the better.  2. Press power button for 2 seconds to turn on the headset (Blue LED on), then press power button for 3 seconds (Red and Blue LEDs alternately glitters) into the pairing status, waiting to be paired. 3. Turn on the bluetooth application of your mobile phone and click to search Bluetooth devices near your mobile. Once searched “X16” device name, please select it to pair. After completely pairing, blue LED on, pairing successful and connected.   3.2 Multipoint connection If your Bluetooth headset needs to connect two phones, you can use the following two methods to pair:  Step 1: The first smart phone and headset paired successfully. Then turn off the first phone's Bluetooth.  Step  2:  Press  the  headset  power  button  for  3  seconds  to  re-enter  the  pairing  status, pairing with the second phone.  Step  3:  When  the  second  phone  is  paired  with  the  headset,  open  the  first  phone's Bluetooth  and  the  first  phone  is  automatically  connected  to  the  headset.Then  the headset is connected to these two phones. 3.3 Operations  Functional operation LED Indicator Voice prompt Power on Press power button   2 seconds Blue LED glitters voice prompt ” Power on” Power off Long press power button 7 seconds Red LED glitters voice prompt ” Power off”
Into pairing status Long press ON/OFF 5 seconds Red and Blue LEDs Alternately glitters voice prompt “pairing” Volume Plus Click Volume +   Volume Reduction Click Volume-   Previous Long press Volume -   Next Long press Volume +   Play Click power button   Pause Press power button   Re-dial the last phone number made before Double click power button   Answer phone call Click power button   Reject phone calls Double click power button      3.4 Notice  If  you  fail  to  connect  the  headset  with  your  mobile  phone,  please  follow  the  below suggestions and instructions:  -  Make  sure  your  headset  has  enough  power  and  at  power  on  mode,  and  paired successfully with your mobile phone. - Make sure the bluetooth application of your mobile phone is at open mode - Make sure your mobile phone is within 10 meter distance to the headset and no objectives between them, such as wall, electronic devices, metal things etc. - If above steps confirm no problem, enter the phone's Bluetooth device pairing list, select X16, manually connection. - Please re-operate them again if still failed. - If the headset can’t be paired to your mobile phone within 5 minutes at pairing mode, it will power off automatically. - f the headset is disconnected with your mobile phone and is not connected to your mobile phone -  within 5 minutes, it will power off automatically.
