Welcome to use the headset
UTEl T20S exceeds traditional Bluetooth headsets. It has super mini size and
super-lightweight, easy to use. Utilizing Bluetooth V2.1 chipset enables its faster
connection, clearer communication and better anti-jamming capacity. With the wireless
headset, you can enjoy the convenient life .moreover; you can link with pioneers closely
by the advanced Bluetooth technology.
Please read this manual carefully before using Bluetooth headset UTEL
UTEL T20S. In addition, please keep your mobile phones’ instruction manuals for
reference as well.

The brief introduction
What is the wireless Bluetooth technology?
Bluetooth devices enable to communicate without wires, using built-in radio transceivers
which operate on a globally available radio frequency to ensure worldwide compatibility.
Your Bluetooth wireless headset can communicate with other Bluetooth devices within a
range of approximately 10 meters (33feet).
* Bluetooth signal would be interfered by obstructs, such as wall, body, etc.

How to use the headset
You can match the headset with any Bluetooth sets at any time, for example, Nokia
N95.
1、Hands-free to call and the volume is switchable.
2、Refuse the coming call.
3、Listen to the stereo music from the mobile phone with the headset
Notes: To higher the compatibility and the ability ,the headset and hands-free Bluetooth

is supported. Please take the use manual for reference ,and get more information.

Use manual ①charge the headset
1、 please full charge the headset before use
it first time；
2、 when you hear the alarm and it repeats at
15seconds intervals,and the indicator blinks

three times , it means the headset needs charging.
3、Connected with the charger, there is a long flashing red light, then long
shining ,it indicates the headset is charging now; when the red indicator turned off ,it
means that the headset is over the charge.
Note: you can charge the headset on the computer with USB slot.
Note: under the full charge :
about 5.5 hours to listen to the music or 6 hours call time
Standby time: about 220 hours.
The time on the above can be changeable for your cell phones or your personal usage.
Take care: don’t charge the headset with non-original charge
adapter or charge line.

③How to turn on and off the headset
Turn on :
Under the headset turns off ,press the MFB for 5 seconds , the red and blue
indicator flash one time simultaneously ,release the button ,then the headset turns on.
Hold the multi-function key for about 5 seconds, and release it until the blue
indicator and red indicator keep on for long time means the headset has been turned on.
Note: when the headset turns on but not connect with Bluetooth set, the indicator will be
red, when connecting with Bluetooth set, it will turn blue light and flash.
Turn off:
When the headset turns on, press the MFB for 5 seconds, the red and blue
indicator would flash one time simultaneously, and then release the button .The headset
can be turned off.

Hold the multi-function key for about 5 seconds .and the red and blue light keeps
showing means the headset has been turned off.
④ Match the Bluetooth and cell phone
Please confirm first your cell phone can work properly when connecting the
following Bluetooth headset UTEL T20S:

The steps for matching the cell phone with headset：

1、Turns on the Bluetooth of the cell phone, and make sure that the headset is
under the status of turning off.
2、With the headset is off, hold the multi-function key until the red and blue light
shines alternatively, and then release it. It means the headset is matching now.
3、Searching the Bluetooth device for the cell phone, and match ;( more details
please refer to the use manual of cell phone.
4、Choose the UTEL T20S in the device list and then confirm following the screen
prompts.
5、During the confirming , enter the password “ 0000” to match .when the
Bluetooth indicator flash three times, it means matching successfully.
Note: After matching successfully, it would out of matching automatically, if you do
nothing with the matching action after 3 minutes.

1、The ring tones in headset is same as the ring in the cell phone ,not the
Bluetooth’s, this kind of situation just for some cell phones.
2、It should be supported by the matched set.
3、The matched list should be existed in the Bluetooth, and connect the last
matched headset before it turned off.
Note: MFB is short for multi-function button.
Take care: After matching, if there is no activity for 30 minutes or disconnecting

with any device for 5 minutes, the headset will be turned off automatically to save
power.

*5 When keys unlock, all the buttons cannot work .but when a call coming ,it can recover

all the functions .After over the call ,it would be in the status of key lock.
Troubleshooting
If there is noise heard from the headset during calls:
Please check if the Bluetooth headset and mobile phone are in operating range (10
meters in open space).
In order to get the best voice quality, we suggest wearing the headset at the same
side as the mobile phone.
There is a clip in the headset ,please make sure the headset near the mouth and
make a good voice quality ,
Nothing can heard from the headset：
Please check if the headset is on and charged properly;
Please check whether the headset has paired with the mobile phone successfully；
Please check if the headset has connected with the mobile phone; if not, please
connect them according to indications of the phone.
Mobile phone fails connecting to the headset:
Please check if the headset is on and has been charged properly;

Please check whether the headset has completed matching with the cell phone;
If the headset fails connecting automatically to the initial or the latest used phone,
please recharge it, turn it off and then restart, or do pair them again.
Please make sure there are no barriers for example: wall or other electronic
equipments between the headset and mobile phone, and their distance is not over 10
meters.
If problems still can not solved following above steps, please turn off your mobile phone
or its Bluetooth function and then restart. Please confirm that the pin is 0000.
Caution
Please obey your local law to use your cell phone and Bluetooth headset UTEL T20S
properly. Please concentrate on the road to guarantee driving security when using
the headset in car.
Please don’t put the headset at any places which the ballonet may unfold. Because
along the strong unfold power, the headset may cause serious injury to anybody
around.
Please keep the headset away from little children (Its small parts may cause
suffocate danger to them).

Please turn off your Bluetooth headset at places that forbids using electronic devices,
such as hospital, blasting area, or any places with explosive danger.
The Bluetooth headset is forbidden to use during flight, please turn it off before
boarding.
Do not use the headset at excessively loud levels, to avoid any hurt to your hearing.
Maintenance
● Keep the device dry. Rain water, humidity and all types of liquids or moisture may
corrode its electronic circuits, if your headset does get wet, please use it after
completely air it.
● Do not use the harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the
device.
● Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty places. Its moving parts and electronic
components will be damaged.
● Do not store the device in places which are too hot, high temperatures will shorten the
using time of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics.
● Do not store the device in areas which are too cold. When the device returns to its

normal temperature, moisture will be formed inside and damage its electronic circuit
board.
● Do not attempt to drop, knock or shake the device. Rough handling will damage its
inside circuit board and precious structure.
● Do not paint the device, painting may clog the moving parts and prevent proper
operation.
● After long time no use, please fully charge the headset before using.

1. Due to the used enclosure material, the Bluetooth earphone shall only be connected to a
USB Interface of version 2.0 or higher. The connection to so called power USB is
prohibited.
2. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
