Removing a Tag lrom an Infant
To livoid causing an alarm, deenmll the
Tag on the Perceptls Control and Display
computer to slop monitoring before
removing the Tag (see the Pemeptls Hugs
System manual 7 805U1801).
With a pair of bondage scissors, cut the
strap in the middle and remove the
Tag from the infant.
To remove the severed strap from the
Tag, push each piece of the strap
through tiie tag slots, moving from the
bottom to the top of the Tag.
Cleaning 3 Tag
The Hugs Tag can he cleaned using a
softebn'stle brush and a disinfectant
soap or similar solution (for example,
Butcher's Heptagon Disinfectant
Clecneri, ory the Tug thoroughly
beforeuse.
A small soft-bristle brush can be used
to clean the tag slots. Pass the brush
carefully through the tag slot moving
from the bottom to top of the Tag.
Warnings:
- Do not. use an autoclave to clean
the Tag or serious damage may
result.
- Do not soak the Tag in alcohol.
