PAIRING and LINK
Before using the headset for the first time, one must pair it with the
Bluetooth® phone or other Bluetooth® devices. BTH-510 can pair up
to eight (8) Bluetooth® devices or link to two Bluetooth® devices at
the same time (double stand-by). Note that a few models of
SonyEricsson mobile phones are unable to do double-standby with
BTH-510. The following procedure describes how to do paring
WORK WITH TWO Bluetooth® DEVICES
BTH-510 can be linked to two Bluetooth® devices simultaneously.
This is called dual-linking. This feature lets you control two
Bluetooth® devices using a single headset. When your Bluetooth®
headset is in the dual-linking state and there is an incoming call
from handset A, then your headset will tear down the link to
handset B. It will restore the link to handset B when the call from
handset A is terminated. Note that some SonyEricsson handsets
cannot do dual linking with BTH-510.
USING BTH-510
Call answering: Short-press the multifunction button to answer an
incoming call or to answer the call using the Bluetooth® device and
then transfer the call to BTH-510.
Call termination: Short-press the multifunction button to terminate
an active call or hang up the call using the Bluetooth® device.
Make a phone call: Make a phone call from the Bluetooth® device
and the call will switch automatically to the headset. The procedure
may be different depending on the setup of the Bluetooth® device..
Volume adjustment: Press the Volume Control Button back and
forth to change the volume level during the call.
Last-number redial: Double-click the multifunction button to redial
the last number.
Voice-activated dialingShort-press the multifunction button and
make a voice after you hear a beep to start dialing. The call may
get transferred to the headset automatically. To use voice-activated
dialing, one must enable the voice dialing capability on the
Bluetooth® device. Make sure that the voice for activating the call is
recorded in advance.
Call

will reject the incoming call.
Mute: Double-click the multifunction button will put the call on hold.
In this case, the call is muted.

switch an active call from the headset to the Bluetooth® device, or
vice versa.
