(I+II)(I+III)- 2 sec 2 sec Option Programming 1 Option Programming 2 2. Alarm Function Upon arming, your alarm will be triggered by: • • • • Light Impact (first stage shock sensor). The siren will chirp 4 times and the parking lights will flash for a few seconds. The transmitter will be paged and the vibration icon will appear in the LCD. Heavy impacts (second stage shock sensor). The siren will go off and the parking lights flash for 60 Seconds. The transmitter will be paged and the Hammer in the LCD will appear. Door opened. The siren will go off and the parking lights will flash for 60 Seconds. The transmitter will be paged and the door icon will appear in the LCD. If you have installed the Optional starter kill function, your vehicle will not start with key when system is armed. Note: (Siren duration 30Sec. or 60Sec. refer to programming section) 3. Panic In Case of an emergence and you want to track attention. Press Button I for 2 Seconds and you will enter Panic Mode. The siren will go off and the parking light will start flashing. To disengage Panic Mode. Press Button I for ½ Second. Page 3 of 8 -3- 4. Start Function Press Button II for 2 Seconds to start the engine. The engine will start and give you a confirmation on the Remote-pager. The engine will run 15 minutes (25 min for diesel) or 25 minutes (40 min for diesel) . If the engine has a problem starting the system will retry 2 more times. If the engine dose not start after the 3rd attempt, please call you Authorized Dealer. Note: Runtime, please consult you Authorized Dealer. 5. Safety Shut Down System has several Shut Down inputs. That will shut down the engine or prevent from remote starting. • the Hood is opened, • the Brake is pressed, • the Valet is entered, or • the Valet switch is turned on. 6. VPS(Vehicle Paging System) VPS is turned on upon arming. If the VPS sensor is triggered by an impact such as knocking on the VPS module, the transmitter will be paged. 7. Aux 1 & Aux 2 The system has Aux 1 & Aux 2 output to be utilized with optional features. (Consult your Authorized Dealer) 8. Valet Mode and Valet Switch To enter Valet mode, press Buttons I & III simultaneously for ½ Second or insert the key into the ignition and tuned the ignition on and off five times within 10 seconds. In Valet mode, the system will only activate Locks, Trunk, and the Auxiliary only. To exit Valet Mode press Button I & III simultaneously for ½ Second. 9. Shock Sensor Dual Stage Shock Sensor will activate 30 Sec. after the system is Armed (Locked). When 1st stage is triggered the siren will chirp 4 times and Remote-pager will receive a notification of the violation.(Vibration Icon will appear) When 2nd stage is triggered the siren will activate and Remote-pager will receive a notification of the violation.(Hammer will appear) 10. Timer Mode To enter the Timer Mode press Buttons II & IV simultaneously for ½ Second. The system will start every 1.5 Hrs. till Timer Mode is deactivated and automatically canceled if the vehicle is started with the Key or Remotely. To Exit Timer Mode press Button II & IV simultaneously for ½ Second again. 11. 2nd Car Mode System is able to operate 2nd vehicle. Press Buttons III & IV simultaneously for ½ Second. Feature may be different for 2nd vehicle regards to options. To Exit 2nd Car press Button III & IV simultaneously again. (Consult your Authorized Dealer) Page 4 of 8 -4- 12. Transmitter Learning Procedure Your transmitter has been programmed at the factory. However, if you replace or add additional Remote-pager, follow this procedure. Steps 1: Put the system in Valet mode with key: Ignition On and Off Five times with key within 10 seconds. The parking light will flash once. Step 2: Within 6 seconds, press any button for a half-second. Step3:The parking light will flash twice to confirm Step 2. Step 4: Program 2nd transmitter or 3rd transmitter by pressing any button. The system will program up to 3 transmitters. The parking light will flash once to confirm Step 3. 13. Programming Options with Transmitter Each unit comes with factory setting. If you want to change any of those settings, follow this procedure. Step one: Press Buttons I+II simultaneously for 2 seconds to change any of the Option #1 options or Press Buttons I+III simultaneously for 2 seconds to change any of the Option #2 options. Confirmed by chirp and parking light - one time. Step two: Within 2 seconds press Button IV for the same number of time as the option number you wish to change. Confirmed by chirp and parking light - same number of time of the option number. Step three: Press Button I a ½ second to change to the factory setting - confirmed by chirp and parking light by one time. Press Button II a ½ second to change to the option setting - confirmed by chirp and parking light by two times. If you hear one second chirp, it means the unit did not receive any signal in this step – repeat Step one again. Step 1: Press Buttons I+II simultaneously or I+III simultaneously for 2 seconds. Confirmed by chirp and parking light - one time. Step 2: Press Button III three times. Confirmed by chirps and parking lights - three times. Page 6 of 8 -6- 15. Limited Lifetime Warranty Firstech, Inc. Warrants to the original purchaser that this product shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and circumstances for the period of time that the original owner of this product owns the vehicle in which it is installed; except that the remote controller unit for the period of one year from the date of installation to the original owner of this product. When the original purchaser returns the product to the retail store where it was purchased or pre-paid postal to Firstech, Inc., 230 E. Potter Suite 8, Anchorage, Alaska 99518, USA within the warranty period, and if the product is defective Firstech, Inc, will at its option repair or replace such. “TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND EACH ENTITY PARTICIPATING IN THE STREAM OF COMMERCE THEREWITH. IMPORTANT NOTE: A product’s warranty is automatically void if its date code or serial number is defaced, missing, or altered.
