lReportanypotentialsafetyproblemstothepersoninchargebeforeworkingwithZTE
products.

shock.
lAlwayswearappropriatePersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE)whenworking.

lAfterinstallingandreplacingtheequipment,removeemptypackagingmaterialfrom
theequipmentsite.

strapisingoodcontactwithyourskin.Makesurethattheotherendofthewriststrap
ispluggedintotheESDjackontheequipment(),asshowninFigure2-1.
lWhentheESDwriststrapisingoodcondition,theresistanceofthesystemranges
from0.8to1.2MΩ.Generally,anESDwriststraphasaservicelifeoftwoyears.
Itshouldbereplacedwhentheresistanceisoutoftherange.
lTheESDwriststrapcannotpreventtheESDthatoccurswhenyourclothescontacta
board.Avoidcontactsbetweenboardsandclothing.

ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigital
device,pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovide
reasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.
Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergy.However,there
isnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipment
doescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioorreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturning
theequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyone
ormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
lReorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
lIncreasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
lConnecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthe
receiverisconnected.

REDUCINGRADIATIONEXPOSURE-USEPROPERLY
ThisdevicecomplieswithFCCradiationexposurelimitssetforthforanuncontrolled
environment.InordertoavoidthepossibilityofexceedingtheFCCradiofrequency
exposurelimits,humanproximitytotheantennashallnotbelessthan20cm(8inches)
duringnormaloperation.
