2 Welcome to use this Bluetooth headset,BTE001.Before using it,pleaseread this instruction carefully. ■ Brief instruction 1、Bluetooth wireless communication technology Bluetooth is a standard of close range radio-communication technology which was drawn up by Ericsson,IBM,Intel,Nokia,Tohiba.Through Bluetooth technology,the purpose is to achive the highest transmission rate among mobile phone,computer,printer,PDA and other devices.The transmission range is 10 meters,even more,the max.radio-communication range can reach up to 100 meters. 2、Bluetooth wireless headset By using BTE001，you can enjoy the happiness that is brought by Bluetooth wireless technology.It has the following functions: ● Handsfree receiver/end a call/reject coming call ● Dial last call with headset ● Voice dial(It needs your mobile phone to support) ● Adjust volume ● Switch freely the conversation between mobile phone and headset ● Mute operation during the conversation to keep the conversation secret with the third party.
3 ■ Before using the headset 1、Overview of the headset Chart 1 Chart 2 1) 、 Multifunction button:on/off/Pair/receive coming call/reject coming call/dial last call 2)、The LED indicator of the headset 3)、Volume down/microphone mute 4)、Volume up/conversation switch/microphone mute 5)、Ear hook 6)、Mini USB port for charging 7)、Ear cap 8)、Microphone 9)、Speaker 2、Charging the headset The headset should be used built-in rechargable battery.You must charge the headset fully when you use it for the first time During using it,if you see the red light to flash and hear the indicaton sound(the headset sound 3 tones of “DU”every 20 seconds and a tone of “DU” every 5 seconds)，it means the headset is low power,at this time,you have to recharge the headset. 1) Plug charger into standard AC power socket 2) Connect the end of charger with USB charing port of headset When the red light is always bright,it is charging When the red light is off,it is charging fully 3) It will take about 1.5 hours to charge the headset full.
4 Chart 3 ■ Basic operation 1、Switching on/off the headset Function Operation LED indicator Indication sound Switch on headset Press the multifunction button for 3-5 seconds, and release the button until you see the blue LED is bright Blue LED is on A tone of “DI”and”DU”Switch off headset Press the multifunction buttonfor 2-3 secends ， and release the button until you see the blue LED is long bright Blue LED is bright and then is off A tone of “DI”Remark：After switching on for 10 minutes, the headset cannot still connect with any devices, the headset will switch off automatically, in order to save power. 2、The LED indicator of the headset 1)Plug charging device, the headset will enter into charging status LED indicator Status of headset Red LED is on It is charging Red LED is off Charging finished 2 )Pair with Bluetooth device(mobile phone) LED indicator Status of headset Red LED flashes every second Standy mode(disconnect with Bluetooth device) Blue LED flashes 2 times every 4 seconds Standy mode(already connected with Bluetooth device) Blue LED flashes continously and quickly Conversation mode Red and blue LEDs flash alternately Pairing mode Red LED flashes Low power 3、Pair headset with Bluetooth mobile phone When you use BTE001 for the first time,please pair headset with your mbile phone,and make sure your mobile phone has Bluetooth function which can be used.The steps are as follows: 1) Keep headset and your mobile phone within 1 meter. 2) Please make sure your headset is off(All lights is off) 3) Press multifunction button for 7-8 seconds and release the button after you hear the third indicated tone(the first one is a tone of “DI”,the second one is “DU”,and the third one is “DONG,DONG”)or see the red LED and blue LED flash alternately,the headset enters
5 pairing mode. 4) Turn on the Bluetooth function of mobile phone,search Bluetooth device,after searching is finished,pleast select “BTE001” on the device list. 5) According to indication,enter password or PIN No:”1234”,and press”Yes”or “Confirm” to confirm. 6) It mobile phone reminds you to connect device,select “Yes” or”confirm” to confirm(It depends on mobile phone).After successful connecting,the blue LED of headset will flash 2 times every 4 seconds. Remark: ● Pairing mode will last for 2 seconds,If it can not pair with any devices after exceeding 2 mimutes,the headset will switch to standby mode automatically.If need to pair contimuously,pleast switch off headset firstly,and then refer to 1-6 steps to pair again. ● After successful pairing,Bluetooth headset and mobile phone will remenber each other.Unless pairing information is deleted owing to new pairing,no need to pair next time. ● In the status of standy and disconnect with any devices,press multifunction of headset,after hearing a tone of “DU”,headset will connect with last pairing device. ● The headset will connect with last pairing device after switching on each time.It you need it to pair with other devices,please switch off Bluetooth function of device that currently paired with headset.and then refer to 1-6 steps to pair with new device. 4、Wearing headset This headset is suitable for both ears.The ear hook can turn freely,please adjust according to the following charts .After wearing the headset well ,please turn the microphone of headset towards the mouth of user,then you can enjoy the best comfort and conversation. suitable for right ear suitable for left ear Telephoning with headset Function Status of device Steps of Operation

7 ■ Care and maintenance Before using the Bluetooth adaptor, please read the following recommendations ,It will help you to enjoy the product for many year. z Keep dry and don’t put it in the wet place, in case of effecting the interior circuit of product. z Don’t put the product under the sunlight or place in hot areas. High temperature will shorten the life of electronic device and deform certain plastic. z Don’t expose the adaptor to extreme temperatures, which may damage the internal circuit board. z Don’t try to take apart the product.
