READING GUIDE
Manual Objective:
The Manual mainly provides operating instructions on DNYS‐2C Smart Keys and auxiliary
iAdapterE-1 transmission adapter and iCDZE-1 recharge stand products supplied by Zhuhai
Unitech Power Technology Co., Ltd. To enable product users to have a basic understanding
of product functions, performance and characteristics and grasp product operating and
maintenance methods.
Audience:
The Manual, prepared for DNYS‐2C Smart Key users, mainly includes contents such as
operation, parameter settings and production maintenance, and is mainly to provide the
operating method of this product for operators.
Structure:
ThisManualcontainsthefollowingcontents:generalinformationandfeaturesareintroducedin
thefirstchapter.Productinstallationandprecautionsaredescribedinthesecondchapter.The

Theproductsaremainlyusedinpowerindustryinterlockbyforeignterminals,suchas
substations,powerplants,etc.ItiscapabletoreceiveoperatingordersfromSmartinterlockhosts,
andthentooperateallkindsoflocksinstrictoperatingorders.InSmartinterlocksystem,the
smartkeyisusedasahandhelddevicebetweenthehostanddeviceonsite,andregardedasone
ofthemostcriticalsystemcomponents.Thisproductisdevelopedbaseonthecompany'sexisting
key,whichintegratescurrentnewtechnologiesonthemarket,andsatisfiestheneedsofusers,
thustohavepowerfulcompetitivenessoftheSmartinterlocksystemmarket.

Chapter1Overview
1.1Introduction
DNYS‐2CsmartkeyisanewtypeofOLEDcolor‐screensmartkeybasedonthe“Double‐less”technologyofthe
company,basedonourapplicationanddevelopmentexperienceovertheyears,whichcanbeoperatedin
conjunctionwithJOYOseriesofmicrocomputersafetyinterlocksystems.The“Double‐less”technologyisanew
acquiringandcodingtechniquedevelopedbythecompanyunderhugeinvestments,whichhasgainedmany
patentsandisespeciallyapplicabletotheSmartinterlockfield,characterizedbylimitlesscodingandwireless
acquiring.
TheDNYS‐2Csmartkeyhasbeenessentiallyupgradedandimproved,nomatterintechnology,performance,and
manufactureprocess,comparedwiththeprevioustypeofsmartkeys,anditiscapableofmeetingthecustomer’s
newrequirementsoninterlockdevicessuchastheapplicationsincentralizedcontrolstation.

2.2Installationcautions
1.Whenitisbeingplacedontheadapter,pleaseensuretheadapterneedlesareproperlycontactedwithcharging
contacts.
2.Placement:whenthesmartkeyisnotinservice,pleaseplacethesmartkeyinafixedplace,ratherthanrandom
places.
3.Donotplacethesmartkeyinanyspeciallywetenvironmentinalongterm,toextendtheservicelifeofthe
smartkey.

3.2.1Basicoperations
¾ Power‐on
(1)Ensurethatthesmartkeyisavailabletobepowered.Ifthebatteryrunslow,thesmartkeycan’tstart,please
operateinaccordancewiththesecondstep.Whenthepowerisenough,pleaseoperateinaccordancewiththe
thirdstep.
(2)Placethesmartkeyonthechargerandcheckifitisproperlyplacedandisstablyconnectedtothecharger.
(3)Presstheon/offkeyonthepanel,andthenreleaseit,thesmartkeyproduces“Beep”soundanddisplaysthe
dynamicLOGOontheinterface,andshowsthefollowingstandbyinterfacelater:

z“ “isasymbolofbattery,indicatingthecurrentrunninglevelofthebattery,thefull‐greencolorindicates
thatthebatteryrunsinfulllevel;thefull‐blackcolorindicatesthatthebatteryrunsout.Whenthebatterysymbol
isempty,indicatesthebatteryrunsout,pleasechargethebatteryimmediately.““iconindicatessmartkey’s

¾ Power‐off
Itisavailabletoclosethesmartkeyatanystateafterstarting.AusercanpressandholddowntheOn/Offkeyon
thepanelforabout2seconds,thesmartkeyproducesthesound“beep…beep…”,thentheusercanreleasethekey,
thekeycanswitchoffthepowersupplyautomatically.
¾ PreparationbeforeOperation
Thesmartkeyisageneral‐purposesmartkey,whichcanbeappliedtoanystation,anditisrequiredtoenablethe
“Sync”functionbeforeoperation,thustotransmitthestation'sdeviceinformationtothesmartkey.Ifthedevice
informationisnotmodifiedinastation,thesmartkeycanbeusedforeveraslongasenabled“Sync”.

¾ MenuOperation
Inthestandbyinterface,pressthe“Menu”keytoentermainmenu:ThenpresstheUPorDownkeystobrowsethe
wholemainmenu,asshownbelow:
Thereinto:
zThe“Receive”isthedefaultoptiononthemenu,indicatingtheoptionisselected.NowauserpressestheDown
keytoselectthenextoptiononthemenu,similarly,itisavailabletopresstheUpkeytoselectthepreviousoption.
zWhenselectinganoptiononthemenu,presstheEnterkeytoenterthefunctionmenuinterfaceorthe
submenuinterface;presstheCancelkeytothestandbyinterfaceortheoption'sparentmenu.
zWhenauseroperatesonasubmenu,itcandisplaythescrollbariconontherightsideofthescreen,toshow
thecurrentpositionoftheselectedsubmenu.
3.2.2Synchronization
Thesmartkeyfeaturesgoodinterchangeabilityandversatility,itcanbeapplicabletodifferentsubstationsor
powerplantsoncesuccessfullysynchronized beforethefirstoperation.
Itisavailabletoreceivesynchronousdatadirectlyinthestandbyinterface,orselect“Function”onthemainmenu,
andthenselectthe“Sync”optiontodirectlyenterthesynchronousinterface;thesmartkeycanreceivethe
synchronousdataatomically.

Whenthekeyisbeingchargedonthetransmissionadapter,thekeycanreceivesynchronousdataiftheusersets
hostsystemtothesynchronousstate,andthesmartkeyentersthesynchronousinterface.
Whenthekeystartsreceivingsynchronousdata,itcandisplaythefollowinginterface,theprogressbarshowsthe
receivingprogressofsynchronousdata.
Whenthesynchronousdatahavebeenreceived,thesmartkeyiscapableofprocessingandsavingthereceived
data.
3.2.3ReceiveOperationOrders
AusercanpresstheUpwardorDownwardkeytoselecttheoption“Receive”onthemainmenu,andpressEnter;
itcanentertheorder‐receivinginterface.ThenSmartKeycanenterorder‐receivinginterfacedirectly.
Thereinto:
zIfthekeyhasn’tsynchronized,itcannotentertheorder‐receivinginterface,thescreendisplaystheinformation
“Withoutsync,cannotreceiveorder”,andausermustconductsynchronizationbeforereceivingorders.
zPresstheOn/Offkeytothemainmenu.
Whenthekeyisbeingchargedonthetransmissionadapter,thekeycanreceiveordersiftheusersetshostsystem
totheorder‐sendingstate,andthesmartkeyenterstheorder‐receivinginterface.
Whenthekeystartsreceivingorderdata,itcandisplaythefollowinginterface,theprogressbarshowsthe
receivingprogressoforderdata.

Whenthesmartkeyhasprocessedandsavedthereceiveddata,thekeycanswitchtothefollowingoperating
interfaceautomatically.

Thesmartkeycandisplaythespecificdeviceinformationunderoperatingwhileunlockingthemechanicalcoding
lockssuchasmanualdisconnector,grounding‐switch,andtemporarygroundingconnector,webdoor,etc.For
example,ifauserwantsto“61Eline:OpenBreaker”,thekeycandisplaythefollowinginformationatthismoment:
Findthecorrespondingdevicematchedwiththedisplayedbythekeyonsite,andinsertthesmartkeyintothe
keyhole,ifthecodeiscorrect,thesmartkeycanring“beep”ormakeavoiceprompt“Correct,PleaseOperate.”

Rotatethesmartkeytoopenthemechanicalcodinglockatthismomentandthenswitch.
Whenthecorrectoperationiscompleted,thesmartkeycanring“beep”andprompt“Operationfinished”

Atthismoment,theoperatorcan’tunlockbecausetheinterlockinggearislocked.Pleasepulloutthekeyandfind

z UnlocktheDevicesInterlockedbyElectricCodingLocksSuchasCircuitBreaker,ElectricDisconnector,etc.
Whenthesmartkeydisplaysthedeviceinformationofcircuitbreakerorelectricdisconnector,suchas“74Eline:
OpenBreaker”,pleaseinsertthesmartkeyintotheelectriccodinglockofcorrespondingdevice,itcanring“beep
“orpromptbyvoice“Correct,PleaseOperate.”(Availabletosetinthesystem)anddisplay“CorrectCode,Please
Operate!”

Switchthebreakeratthismoment,thekeyrings“Beep”anddisplays“theoperationiscompleted,please
continue!”indicatingthatthekeyhasdetectedthecompletionsignal.Itisavailabletounplugthesmartkeyand
continue.
Ifthekeyisunpluggedwhenithasnotdetectedthecompleteoperationsignalwithin2secondsunderthe
operationofelectriccodinglock,itcanshowasbelow:
Pressandholddownthe“success”or“failure”key(for2seconds)toselecttheoperatingresults,“success”
indicatesthatthisstepiscomplete,thekeycanenterthenextstep;“failure”indicatesthatthisstepisnot
completedandwillberestarted.
Ifthekeyisunpluggedwhenithasnotdetectedthecompleteoperationsignalover2secondsundertheoperation
ofelectriccodinglock,itcanshowasbelow:

Whenthesmartkeydisplaystheinformationofthedevicestobeoperated,pleaseinsertthesmartkeyintothe
electriccodinglockormechanicalcodinglockofcorrespondingdevice,itcanring“beep…”orpromptbyvoice
“Correct,PleaseOperate!”(Availabletosetinthesystem)anddisplay“CorrectCode,PleaseOperate.”

locksandRotatethesmartkeytounlock,thesmartkeyrings“beep”anddisplaysthefollowinginformation:
Itindicatesthatthesmartkeyhascompleteditsworking;theusercanremovethesmartkeyandcontinuethenext
operation.
Whileinsertingthecorrespondingelectriccodinglock,itisavailabletooperateinaccordancewiththesteps
describedin“3.4.2UnlocktheDevicesInterlockedbyElectricCodingLocksSuchasCircuitBreaker,Electric
Disconnector,etc.”
z StateDetection
Thesmartkeyshowsthestateofthedevicetobedetected,pleasefindthecorrespondingconnectionor
disconnectionstatedetectors,electricalswitchingstatedetectorsinaccordancewiththedevicenumbershownon
thesmartkey,andinsertthesmartkey;thesmartkeycancontinueitsworkingonlyafterdetectingthecorrect
state.TakeConfirm81EBreakerinclosepositionasanexample.
Insertthekeyintocorrespondinglocks,ifcodevalueiswrong,thesmartkeywillbeepforcontinuousthreetimes,
orevenpromptavoice“Error,pleasecheck.”Ifthecodevalueiscorrect,thesmartkeywillfurtherdeterminethe
statusoflocksandpromptdetectingstatus:

z ElectriferousDetection(electroscope,high‐voltagelivelockingdevice)
Insertthesmartkeyintothecorrespondingelectroscopeforfurtherelectriferousdetection,whenthesmartkey
displayselectriferousdetectionandthenextoption.iftheelectriferousdetectioniscorrect,andtheoperationis
successful,itisavailabletoenterthenextstep.
Taking“Verifiedthat73EBreakerhasnovoltage”asanexample:
Whenthesmartkeydisplaysthefollowinginformationinthedetectingprocess:

Andproducesrapidalarmsound“Beep…Beep…Beep…”indicatingthecircuitsareelectriferous,andcan’tenterthe
nextoperation.
Whenthesmartkeydisplaysthefollowinginformation,andrings“Beep,”itindicatesthatthecircuitsaren’t
electriferous,removethesmartkeyfromtheelectroscopeandenterthenextoperation.
z Lockdisconnectorsandrelatedequipmentswithfixedprogramlock
Lockingdisconnectorsandrelatedequipmentswithfixedprogramismainlydividedintothreecasesaccordingto
fixedprogramlockspecifictypes.Firstly,thefixedprogramlockscanbedividedintothreetypes:thefirsttypeis
fixedprogramlock(one‐waylock),unlockandthenlock;thesecondtypeisone‐wayfixedprogramlock(one‐way
lock),unlockorlock;thethirdtypeisfixedprogramlock(two‐waylock).
Asforthefirsttype,fixedprogramlock(one‐waylock),taking“62ELine:OpenBreaker”asanexample.Insertthe
keyintothefixedprogramlock,untilthesmartkeybeepsandprompts“Correct,pleaseoperate”(availablein
systemsettings);anditdisplaysasfollows:
