WatchNET Access Software Overview

WatchNET Access software is a powerful, network-based enterprise-level security management software that accommodates widely-dispersed applications with an unlimited number of users, controlling thousands of doors and allowing simultaneous access to the system. Its enhanced user experience makes navigation and operation easy and intuitive. The platform offers the ultimate balance between power and affordability in a network environment, with the flexibility to securely connect controllers directly on the network or over RS-485. It is a fully integrated solution for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Time & Attendance, and Building Management.

The software supports Windows 7 and Windows 8 Professional versions and databases such as MSSQL and MS Access. It allows multiple users with different access levels to simultaneously access the system. The system supports stand-alone, small two-four door installations, medium-sized installations, and enterprise global systems. Licensing is a one-time cost based on hardware and functionalities needed, with the ability to add features as the organization grows.

Scan and Enroll Controllers on the Network

The system setup is made easy with WatchNET software. Once hardware is wired and plugged into the network, the software scans for all installed controllers and lists them. Auto or Manual configuration is possible for detected controllers. Operators can choose between Auto download or Manual download to controllers. WatchNET Access panels can be connected via COM port or TCP/IP. Controller dip switches need to be correctly set before scanning.

Software Event Monitoring

The pop-up function ensures that in the event of an alarm, the appropriate map pops up. Alarms can be acknowledged, and actions recorded. The system provides real-time status display and control of all devices on the map. Operators can monitor entry of personnel in real-time, with the person's database picture and credentials displayed. This feature facilitates video verification through camera pictures. The system also enables specific events to pop up boxes from different areas of the screen. Event colors can be configured for different organizations.

Microsoft® Active Directory (AD) Integration Module

WAS-AF-AD Module: WatchNET Access Control uses Microsoft® Active Directory (AD) for integrated solutions. Bidirectional Microsoft Active Directory Cardholder Sync enables Active Directory user records to be replicated to WatchNET Access Control Software cardholder records. This integration facilitates centralized management and synchronization of Windows user accounts with Security Center's administrator and cardholder accounts. Adding Windows users in Active Directory automatically creates Security Center users and/or cardholders. Synchronization is automated, saving time and reducing errors. Cardholder Sync allows for cardholder permissions and information to be transferred from Active Directory, eliminating data duplication and minimizing the possibility of data errors.

Multi-Server (Client Software)

WAS-PRO-CL1 Module: The Client licensed feature of WatchNET Access Control Software improves its ability to operate effectively in a distributed environment, including multiple sites separated by large geographical distances and connected via low bandwidth or intermittently available networks.

WAS-AF-CP Module: This optional licensed feature allows the design and production of encoded and/or photo identification cards. An extensive range of options are available for formatting card layouts, including creating backgrounds, importing images and logos, adding text, and incorporating barcodes, QR codes, and personalized cardholder data.

WAS-AF-WTA Module: WatchNET Access Integrated Security Management Software provides Time & Attendance reports. Working hours are set as per company policies, with allowances for late arrival or early departure. The system compares employee IN and OUT times against set rules to generate reports based on selected parameters. Reports can be generated per employee or department and saved in various formats (PDF, Excel, TXT, HTML, RTF, XML, CSV). This information can be imported into third-party software for payroll and HR management.

Interactive Map

WatchNET Access provides a comprehensive graphical monitoring and control system. Map Maker allows for four layers of visual maps of different sites, buildings, floors, and areas. Users can view controller components and monitor their real-time status (locks, sensors, exit buttons, inputs, and outputs). Users can also change component status by right-clicking on the component. All maps and controller components displayed are dynamic and change their graphical icon based on their physical status (e.g., lock opened).

WAS-INT-WIP Module: WatchNET Access Control Software supports the connection of common CCTV systems, enabling timely video capture, video bouncing during an event, combining cameras in synoptic maps, and backing up recordings directly from the software.

Video Integration: WatchNET Access software integrates seamlessly with CCTV systems via DVR/NVR and IP Cameras. Integration can be developed based on client requirements. Integration is achieved via TCP/IP communication. The software scans the network to identify DVRs, NVRs, or IP Cameras, and allows viewing live images from cameras on the maps. Cameras can be automatically brought up for events if tagged to doors. Snapshots or video clips can be recorded on specific events and recalled later.

BACnet Interface Module for BMS Integration

WatchNET BACnet Interface module provides data on BACnet/IP. It offers a simple and efficient way to integrate WatchNET Controllers with third-party building management systems. BACnet is a communications protocol for Building Automation and Control Networks.

WAS-BMS-INT Module:

• Combines security and building management for an additional layer of information and operational capabilities.

Biometric Reader Integration

The WatchNET Access software integrates seamlessly with Biometric readers, allowing enrollment of cardholders and their fingerprints from a single screen. It is currently integrated with WatchNET Bio-metric readers and other well-known brands. Integration can be developed as per client's requirements. Initially, each reader is connected via USB to set its device parameters for TCP/IP communication. Once configured, biometric readers are plugged into the network and identified by the software. Fingerprints are enrolled simultaneously with card issuance using a USB fingerprint enrollment unit and downloaded to fingerprint units via TCP/IP. Biometric readers are listed in the card enrollment screen, and access can be granted based on cardholder access level.

The interface allows adding personnel, managing department lists, setting access levels, and enrolling fingerprints.

Guard Tour Module

WAS-AF-SGT Module: Patrol Online Module is a real-time application for Guard Patrol, supporting multi-time flash cards, leave of absence, overtime, and card adjustment functions. It supports shifting, cross-day work time, and multi-shifting. It offers various statements/reports and a rich condition combination search function, facilitating real-time patrol status. It is particularly suitable for high-security areas like prisons, public security organs, and high-grade communities.
