External Ordercard Reader 2
(OCL2)
General:
With the OCL2, you can read the ID of
transponder tags with the type: EM4x02 (or
compatible type). The final reading distance
depends on the kind of transponder tag.
The OCL2 is ready for reading the transponder
tag, when the LED-light is flashing.
If the reading of the transponder was
successfully, the light stops flashing (always
on).
Included items:
Together with the OCL2, you have received a
power supply unit, a flatcable and a
Modular/DSUB9-adapter.
Power supply:
For the power supply you can use the power
supply unit. In case that the OCL2 is
connected to an Orderman terminal (slave) on
the port COM4, you don´t need the power
supply unit.
Portdescription:
RS232-port: 9600 Baud, 8 Bit, No Parity, 1
Stoppbit.
Modular-Jack:
Pin1 ... GND
Pin2 ... GND
Pin3 ... GND
Pin4 ... Transmit Data
Pin5 ... Receive Data
Pin6 ... +15V
DSUB9-Adapter:
Pin2 ... RXD Receive Data des PC
Pin3 ... TXD Transmist Data des PC
Pin5 ... GND
Safety instructions:
The OCL2 does not contain any parts
to be serviced by the user and
therefore must not be opened.If
opened, the guarantee claim becomes
void.
Caution: Any changes or modifications
not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void
the user´s authority to operate the
equipment.
