The menu will beselected, and the submenus can be navigated. Select the ‘CSM (Color Standard Mode)’submenu and press the <             > button on the remote control to select the option item(select option items like ‘Normal, Cool, User, Warm’ and so on in the ‘CSM’ submenu).2

A-5AppendixAppendixCheck before calling for servicePlease check the following before asking the service center about any problems withyour LCD TV.Something seems to be wrong with the TV●The TV does not go on.●The TV is making strange noises, butthere is no video or audio.●There is video but no audio.●There is audio but no video.󳃘Check the power cable connection andpress the <POWER> button on theremote controller.󳃘The TV may be in external input mode.Press the <TV/AV> button on the remotecontroller.󳃘Try pressing the volume adjustment<            > button.󳃘Try pressing the <MUTE> button on theremote controller.󳃘Press the <MENU> button to adjust thescreen brightness (go to the screenmenu to adjust the settings. Change theantenna direction if necessary.󳃘Check whether the batteries are dead orinstalled incorrectly.󳃘Check whether the receiver on the LCDTV unit is masked. Ensure it is facing inthe correct direction.Symptoms What to do●Stereo audio is unclear or discontinuous. 󳃘If the broadcasting station is too far awayor the TV is getting interference from otherradio waves, the stereo audio may not beclear. In this case, press the <SSM>button.●The LCD TV is making crackingsounds.󳃘When the LCD TV is turned on or off,cracking sounds may be heard. Thishappens because the cabinet contractsor expands due to environmental factors,including humidity and temperature.There are no adverse effects on the TV’sperformance.●When playing VCR, there is no video. 󳃘Check whether the VCR is set to adedicated VCR channel (3 or 4), and theinput mode for the TV is set to videomode.󳃘Check the video cable connectionbetween the VCR and TV.
