Next the transceiver needs to locked into place. This is done by first tightening the

black cradle locking knobs located on the front of the docking station. Once these

have been tightened the heat sink can also be locked into place by first ensuring

that the heat sink fins on the docking station line up with the gaps on the

transceiver’s heat sink, then pulling down the black heat sink locking clips.

This completes the process of docking the PRC-2090 transceiver into the docking

station.

Removable Display Vehicle Mounting Bracket Assembly (2090-05-04)

The removable display mounting bracket enables the LCD unit and handset of the

PRC-2090 transceiver to be mounted away from the main body of the PRC-2090

manpack or PRC-2090 vehicle docking station.

Display vehicle mounting bracket kit.

If the RAM mount is to be used then it must before screwed to the display vehicle

mount before the LCD unit is inserted.
