Replace Remote Interface Device (RID) Battery
NOTE
Remote Interface Device (RID) is approved for this application by the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC). FCC ID: 2AMDR00079. This device complies with
part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This
device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications to this device, not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance, could void the user's authority to operate the equipment
Expected battery life is 6 to 8 months, assuming normal usage. More frequent
operation will shorten battery life.
Medium to large tweezers, or a small blade screwdriver, and a Panasonic
CR2430 battery (or equivalent) are needed to perform this procedure.

NOTE
Panasonic CR2430 battery (or equivalent) must be installed with the
correct polarity or the RID will not work. If installed with reverse polarity,
the battery and RID will not be damaged. The remote simply will not work.
8. Check polarity of battery (1, Figure 4G8) before insertion. Positive pole is marked with a “+” (plus)
on the side with printing (2, Figure 4G8).
