Establishing a Bluetooth® Connecion
Charging Status LED
The CR2600 Mountable Palm Cart Charger has an LED to indicate the charging status of reader.
Press either trigger buton on the CR2600 and scan
the QuickConnect barcode located on the Mountable
Palm Cart Charger to establish a Bluetooth connecion
between the CR2600 and the computer that the Charger
is connected to. (Figure 5)
Charging Status LED
A red LED = reader/batery is charging
A green LED = reader/batery is fully charged*
*Note: In certain reader coniguraions, the radio is required
to always be on, therefore requiring a constant power draw. In
these instances, while the power draw is minimal, the LED light
may never turn green when charging a batery atached to a
reader.

Once connected, the reader will beep once as
conirmaion and the modem’s blue LED light will
become solid (Figure 6). If the reader does not connect,
the reader will beep four imes in rapid succession.

Charging a CR2600
The modem is defaulted to English language keyboards. If you need to communicate in a
diferent language requiring a change in keyboard seings, please scan the appropriate
coniguraion barcode below, ater connecing to the modem:

Charging Status LED
Place a CR2600 into the charging bay of the Mountable Palm
Cart Charger, facing forward, and down (Figure 7), making sure
it is seated irmly into place. Once the charging clips have made
contact with the connectors on the reader the charging status LED
will light up.
Japanese
Note: Batery ships with approximately 50% batery life. Fully
charge batery before use. Approximate charge ime is 4 hours.

CR2600 Mountable Palm Cart Charger
The CR2600 Mountable Palm Cart Charger is equipped with
a page buton. To locate a CR2600 that has a connecion
established to the modem, and is within Bluetooth range,
simply press the Page buton on the Charger. The reader will
then beep.
The CR2600 Mountable Palm Cart Charger is designed for easy
mobile cart integraion. The embedded CodeXML® Modem
enables a CR2600 reader to wirelessly transmit, through a
Bluetooth® connecion, data to a host device.
In addiion, the Mountable Palm Cart Charger charges a
wireless palm CR2600 while posiioning it within easy
reach for retrieval.

Installation
Atach the micro-USB cable provided to the CR2600 Mountable Palm Cart Charger (Figure 2),
and plug the USB connector into the USB port on the computer (Figure 3). Once plugged in the
charging status LED will lash red (Figure 6).
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protecion against harmful interference in a residenial installaion. This equipment generates,
uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instrucions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communicaions. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a paricular installaion. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television recepion, which can be determined by turning the equipment of and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Two M4 Phillips pan head screws are included with each CRA-A111. The screws are designed to
it into the threaded brass inserts (Figure 4) found on the back of the charger. Insert and ighten
the screws prior to, or ater they are in the posiion to the mouning bracket. Once mounted,
ighten each screw to ensure the charger is securely atached to the mouning bracket.
