• When you dispose of your car, take care to delete all personal data that
are registered in your TOYOTA AUDIO system. You should delete
the following Hands-free data from the system;

In the following conditions, the system may not function.
• The cellular phone is turned off.
• The current position is outside the communication area.
• The cellular phone is not connected.
• The cellular phone has a low battery.
HANDS-FREE SYSTEM
Hands-free system allows you to make or receive a call without taking
your hands off the steering wheel by connecting your cellular phone.
This system supports Bluetooth, a wireless radio data
transferring system, by which you can make calls without your cellular
phone being connected with a cable or placed on cable.
If your cellular phone does not support Bluetooth, this system
can not function.
• The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth
SIG, Inc. and use of such marks by TOYOTA MOTORS LIMITED is
under license. Other trade marks and trade names are those of their
respective owners.
• Compatible Bluetooth Specifications: Bluetooth Specification Ver. 1.2
or later
• Compatible Profiles: HFP Ver. 1.5 or later
OPP Ver. 1.1 or later
CAUTION
While driving, do not use a cellular phone or connect a Bluetooth phone.

ABOUT THE DISPLAY
Reception Level Indication
The strength of the reception is indicated in the DISPLAY WINDOW ④

the connection is completed.

If "Failed" is displayed in the DISPLAY WINDOW ④ after entering the
pass key, repeat the registration operation.
REGISTERING A BLUETOOTH CELLULAR PHONE
Registration is required in order to use a Bluetooth system..
For details of the operation to be performed at the cellular phone,
refer to the instruction manual supplied with the phone.
REGISTERING BLUETOOTH CELLULAR PHONE FOR THE FIRST TIME
(NO PHONES CURRENTLY REGISTERED)
(1) Press the SET UP BUTTON ⑨ to display the phone menu.

by turning the TUNE・FILE KNOB ⑤, and press
ENTER・LIST BUTTON ⑥ to display SETUP menu.

(4) After "CAR AUDIO Passkey0000" is displayed, "SEARCHING"
will be shown. Perform an initial registration on a Bluetooth
supported cellular phone.
(Refer to the instruction manual supplied with the cellular phone.)
CHANGING THE PASS KEY
(1) Press the SET UP BUTTON ⑨ to display the phone menu.

4 to 8 digits. Press "ENTER" FUNCTION BUTTON ⑧ to complete
changing the pass key.

(5) Press the "BACK"
to the previous mode.
ATTENTION
• The connection method from the telephone set to the unit varies according
to the specification of your cellular phone. Refer to the instruction manual
supplied with the phone.
You cannot change the pass key while driving. Park your vehicle in a secure
location and change the pass key.

DELETING A REGISTERED CELLULAR PHONE
(1) Press the SET UP BUTTON ⑨ to display the phone menu.

MAKING A PHONE CALL
You can make a phone call using the phone book of the AUDIO unit,
manually dialing from the AUDIO unit or direct from your cellular phone.

ANSWERING A PHONE CALL
When your telephone set receives a call, the name or telephone
number appears in the DISPLAY WINDOW ④
• If the incoming telephone number is not registered, the telephone
number is displayed in the DISPLAY WINDOW ④.
If the incoming telephone name and number are registered, the name
is displayed in the DISPLAY WiNDOW ④.
If only the incoming telephone number is registered, the telephone
number is displayed in the DISPLAY WINDOW ④.
(1) Press the OFF HOOK BUTTON ③ to talk using the hands-free system.
(2) Press ON HOOK BUTTON ② to hang up the phone.

REFUSING AN INCOMING CALL

ATTENTION
You cannot register any information in the phone book while driving.
Park your vehicle in secure location and then register the information.
REGISTERING INFORMATION IN THE PHONE BOOK
Telephone numbers and names can also be registered manually
in the phone book. Up to 100 entries can be registered in the
phone book of the main device.
REGISTERING THE PHONE BOOK DATA OF A MOBILE PHONE IN
THE PHONE BOOK OF THE MAIN DEVICE
DELETING THE DATA IN THE PHONE BOOK
To register the phone book data of a mobile phone registered in
the main device.
(1) Press the SET UP BUTTON ⑨ to display the phone menu.
