The North Peace Performing Arts Festival Association 2014 LOCAL ADDENDUM Information and Regulations Pertaining to Locally Created Classes Local classes have been created to allow for greater accessibility to our festival. A three-digit number indicates a locally created class. Only those locally created classes approved in advance by the Executive Director of the Alberta Music Festival Association can be used to satisfy eligibility to the Provincial Festival. Addendum classes may be REQUESTED. Requests will be considered up to the beginning of June for inclusion in the local addendum the following festival year. The Local Classes Committee’s aim is to create a set of local classes to parallel the provincial syllabus. Our Association believes that the most important aspects of music festival are the participation of students and the learning derived from the adjudicator’s remarks. Competitors, teachers and parents are strongly urged to carefully study the Provincial Syllabus and the Local Addendum. Contact the local Entry Secretary if clarification is needed: Shirley Anderson, Entry Secretary Phone: 780-332-4921 Email: northpeacefestival@gmail.com North Peace Performing Arts Festival Policies and Rules: 1.
