Bitron Video begins its industrial venture with the
purpose of designing, manufacturing and distributing
video doorphone devices and systems, a great idea and
a challenging innovation that dates as far back as 1967.
The clear knowledge of the market readiness to accept
innovative propositions - for systems of greater
performance in all operational conditions - prompted
Bitron Video to develop and propose a new approach to
comfort and security. The immediate success among the
public soon brought the Company to the attention of
business operators in the electric market, both
domestically and internationally.
With relentless research, Bitron Video eliminated the
need of coaxial cables for video doorphone installations,
and introduced the thin, flat-screen monitors as early as
the 80’s. Not even a decade thereafter, in the 90’s,
Bitron Video hits another ‘first’ with the introduction of
colour monitors using LCD screens with active crystals.
Thanks to its consolidated know-how, Bitron Video is –
since a long time - a renowned and well-respected
Italian market leader enjoying excellent reputation
world-wide.

Created to facilitate the installation work,
the push button panel DOMULAR 3000 does not need
any protection or hood cover against rain, because it
is equipped with sophisticated systems of weather
stripping that guarantee a good shelter from bad
weather. Thanks to its only 35mm in thickness,
DOMULAR 3000 is ideal for wall support application
solutions simplifying the setting operations and button
panel installation a lot. However, the great versatility
of this product permits also to make embedded
installations by using specific embedding boxes.

Wall-Mount Supports

Wall-mount supports are the “framework”
supporting the entire visitor panel, be it embedded
or surface-mounted. They have a modular design so
they can be matched in multiple-line compositions.

Wall-mount supports are available
in 2- and 3- module versions; equal
versions can be matched to obtain
the number of lines required.
All mounting accessories
are included.

Wall-mount supports are the
mounting structure of the panels;
they must always be used for both
embedded and surface-mounted
installations.

Frames for Embedded Panels

The module-holding frames differ according to whether
the push-button panels are surface-mounted or
embedded. In fact, their profiles protrude differently
(35mm for surface mounting and only 20mm for
embedded panels), and - with embedded versions - they
cover possible masonry imperfections.

Frames for embedded panels are
made of painted aluminium;
they are supplied in kit-form,
to be assembled.

There is a specific frame model
for each panel configuration.
All assembling accessories
are supplied with the kit.

Call-button Modules

The call-button modules - as well as all other
DOMULAR 3000 functional modules - have been
designed to facilitate the installation work and the
connection of both system wires and of all other
modules forming the panels.
Their main characteristics are:
· Metal buttons
· Metal front plate
· Built-in diodes plate for video and “1+n” audio systems
· “Hinged” mounting on wall-mount support
· Modules tilting possibility to facilitate
cables connection
· Rising-clamp terminal block
· Nametags back-lighting by ever-lasting green LED’s
· Nametag substitution without opening the panel
· Nametag holder with gasket protection against
humidity (IP35)
· Connectors for the fast connection of
the panel’s common wires.

Call-button modules are available
in several models:
· 0 button (blind module)
· 2 buttons
· 4 buttons
· 6 buttons

For installation convenience, callbutton modules are already fitted
with the diodes requested for the
correct operation of “1+n” and
video systems. Hence they need
not be added separately.

Nametag holders can be
substituted without opening the
panel, by following an easy but
secure procedure.

All DOMULAR 3000 panels have
been designed to speed up
installing operations.
A clear example is its wiring
structure made of practical
connectors that reduce installation
time a lot while minimising
the risk of errors.

Audio Modules

The audio modules - as well as all other DOMULAR 3000
functional modules - have been designed to facilitate the
installation work and the connection of both system
wires and of all other modules forming the panels. A
weather-resistant Mylar loudspeaker and a highefficiency Electrete microphone, are part of the two-way
audio amplifier of the system.
The range is composed of two different models:

Audio modules are available in two
different modules:
· AV0052/05 for “4 +n” systems
· AV0052/02 for “1 +n” systems

AV0052/05 (GCM3000/5) “4+n” Audio Module
· Separate speech volumes adjustment
· Generation of electronic call tone
· Acoustic confirmation of the delivered call (excludible)
· Possibility of tilting the module to facilitate
wires connection
· System speech disconnector for privacy of conversation
· Rising-clamp terminal block
· Used for standard “4+n” doorphone systems

A Mylar loudspeaker and an
electronic microphone (with
possibility of relocation) equipping
the audio modules assure superior
speech quality and a high
protection from bad weather.

AV0052/02 (GCM3000/2) “1+n” Audio Module
· Separate speech volumes adjustment
· Generation of electronic call tone
· Acoustic confirmation of the delivered call (excludible)
· Possibility of tilting the module to facilitate
wires connection
· System speech disconnector for privacy
of conversation
· Rising-clamp terminal block
· Possibility of microphone relocation to avoid
the Larsen effect
· Timed door opening command (3 or 30 secs.)
· Used together with AV 0060 (GVM 3000) module
in video doorphone panels, or in “1+n” doorphone
systems

Speech volumes adjustments are
frontally accessible, without having
to turn the call panel upside down.

Standard Systems
Video Modules

The video modules - as well as all other DOMULAR 3000
functional modules - have been designed to facilitate the
installation work and the connection of both system
wires and of all other modules forming the panels.
To build a complete video doorphone system it is
necessary to combine one video module to one
AV0052/02 (GCM3000/2) “1+n” audio module.
Video modules are available in two different models,
one with monochrome camera and one with a COLOUR
camera of “DAY&NIGHT” technology.
The main features are:
· 5-wire functioning, without coaxial cable
· Built-in infrared LED illuminator for b/w modules.
· High-intensity white light LED illuminator for COLOUR
camera modules; no additional light module required,
nor available
· “DAY&NIGHT” camera for COLOUR video modules,
with the capability of automatic switching to
monochrome operation when the scene light conditions
are not adequate for good-quality colour pictures
· Camera orientation adjustment of 12° in all directions
· Anti-mist heater
· Unbreakable poly-carbonate camera dome
· Rotation possibility of the module to
facilitate cables connection
· Rising-clamp terminal block
· To be used together with “1+n” audio module

Code
AV0060
AV0078

Video modules are available in two
models:
· AV0060 with monochrome camera
· AV0078 with COLOUR camera

The video modules have provisions
for hosting the audio group
microphone, so as to minimise
the Larsen effect while allowing
an increase of speech volumes
in noisy areas.

The transparent poly-carbonate
camera cupola can bear easily
heavier stress than 50Kg*

*Force to be applied
perpendicularly to dome only
At the time of installation, the
camera can be manually oriented
12° in all directions so as to
compensate small errors of panel
positioning.

Special Edition Series

The elegant design of the new DOMULAR 3000 panels
can be further enhanced and customised by choosing the
individual modules within two special-edition ranges,
and combining them together according to personal
taste or to the requirements dictated by the architecture
of the buildings.

11

Standard Systems
DOMULAR 3000
“GOLDEN” Series

The distinctive feature of this prestigious edition is the
“ANTIQUE GOLD” colour of frames and module front
panels, which underline the importance of the building
with a note of exclusive elegance. To achieve such a
special result, frames and front panels are subject to a
careful painting process with metallic paint.
Instead, the call buttons receive a superb gilded finish
by way of a dipping process in actual gold bath.
For ordering special edition items, add the /GD suffix to
the code of the corresponding standard components
(e.g. AV 0060/GD, AV 0045/02GD). Then check the
current price list for the relevant price.
All “GOLDEN” Series articles are always supplied
complete with their electronics; module front panels
only: not available.

DOMULAR 3000
“INOX” Series

The “INOX” range includes all DOMULAR 3000
standard modules but with their front panels made of
sturdy stainless steel. Vandal-resistant sturdiness is
the factor characterising this edition, together with
a look of distinctive appeal.
For ordering special edition items, add the /IX suffix to
the code of the corresponding standard components (e.g.
AV 0060/IX, AV 0045/02IX). Then check the current
price list for the relevant price.
All “INOX” Series articles are always supplied complete
with their electronics; module front panels only: are not
available.
KCA and KCI Panel Frames
AV 0029 (KCA 3000) frames for surface-mount panels
and AV 0037 (KCI 3000) for embedded panels can be
requested in either “GOLDEN” version – specified by the
/GD suffix – or with a silver-grey micaceous paint finish
which is identified by a /MS suffix.
Aesthetic solutions possible by combining panels and
frames of different series are left to personal preference
and in accordance to buildings styles.
NOTE:
For correct pricing, please refer to individual items
and versions in the current price list.

Terms and Conditions of Sales

21

Terms and Conditions of Sales

General Clause
1. No contract may be deemed concluded with us other than on the basis of these General conditions of Sale and Delivery, any other term or condition being
void unless specifically agreed in writing. This applies also in case of deliveries made without separate provision or expressed reserves from our side.
Terms and Conditions of the Buyer apply only in as far as they have been expressly agreed by us, for which the Buyer is responsible for providing evidence.
2. Our General Conditions of Sale and Delivery apply also to future transactions with the Buyer, even where no specific reference is made by us as to the
applicability of our General Conditions of Sale and Delivery.
II: Prices
1. All prices are net ex-works for standard products and packaging. They specifically exclude special packaging requirements, VAT and all other applicable
taxes, certification charges and any other additional expense, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Our prices for custom-made items are not binding. Should material costs, labour or overheads increase within two months between conclusion of the
contract and delivery, Bitron Video shall be entitled to increase the price accordingly.
Payment terms
1. Our invoices are payable in strict compliance with the terms specified therein.
2. The Buyer is not entitled to withhold payments except where a cleanly justified formal complaint comes into existence before the due date of the relevant
invoice. Payment offsetting by the Buyer is admissible only in the event of counterclaims which are undisputed or established by way of a legal process.
3. We are entitled to demand advance payment or the provision of a security where circumstances come to our knowledge which place the creditworthiness
of the Buyer (or of his Country) in doubt, excepting cases where such circumstances were recognisable at the time of conclusion of the contract.
Should the Buyer fail to honour any payment obligation despite the granting of a reasonable period of grace, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract
and to withhold future deliveries.
Delivery
1. Partial deliveries are admissible, provided they do not constitute an reasonable inconvenience to the Buyer.
2. The place of fulfilment is Pianezza (TO). Risk passes – also in the event of deliveries free of freight charges – on to the Buyer on dispatch or collection
of the goods. On request and at Buyer’s cost, we will insure deliveries against the normal transport risks. Should dispatch or collection be delayed for
reasons for which the Buyer is responsible, or should the Buyer delay goods acceptance for any other reason, all ensuing risks and relevant expenses
shall be to the Buyer’s account.
Export sales
1. As we supply technically sophisticated goods which rely upon adequate explanation and support, the Buyer is obliged to sell the goods exclusively to
specialised outlets and installers.
2. Our products are sold world-wide through a sales network of authorised, independent distributors at national level. The Buyer is generally prohibited
from promoting sales outside his assigned territory and to other Countries without our express permission in writing.
3. Every case of deliberate infringement of the restrictions outlined under points 1 and 2 above shall entitle us to demand indemnity, compensation or
penalty – depending on circumstances - to be offset against any claims for damages filed by any rightful third party.
Delivery term, delays
1. The delivery period for our standard products is six weeks. For custom-made articles delivery dates shall be stated on the relevant order confirmation.
In the event of force majeur, e.g. wars, industrial disputes, transportation breakdowns or sub-suppliers’ delays or other disruptions for which we are not
responsible, we are entitled – even in the event of a firmly agreed delivery deadline – to delay delivery by a reasonable period of time until the disturbance
is resolved. Should the Buyer be in a position to prove unreasonable hardship as a result of our inability to perform, the Buyer is entitled to serve
extraordinary notice of termination or withdrawal by registered mail. Further-reaching claims on the part of the Buyer, such as claims for damages or
procurement of a replacement, are excluded in cased of force majeur. Should a disruption for which we are not responsible last longer than eight weeks,
we shall be released from our obligation to perform without any obligation to compensate the Buyer.
2. In case of delay in the acceptance of ordered standard goods, we are entitled to invoice the Buyer warehousing costs of 0.5% of the purchase price for
each started month, but of no more than 5% overall, without prejudice to the right of either party to provide evidence of higher or lower warehousing
cost. With reference to goods of custom design, demurrage costs shall be defined each time in accordance to specific situation and circumstances.

Terms and Conditions of Sales

Warranty
1. Bitron Video’s warranty policy conforms to the Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 May 1999
Official Journal L 171 , 07/07/1999 P. 0012 – 0016.
2. No warranty cover shall be afforded for insignificant defects. Unauthorised modifications, repairs, unskilled installation, or the consequences of such
actions by the Buyer or by any third party shall not be covered by the warranty.
3. The Buyer shall provide written notice of any evident damage immediately, but within 14 days at the latest. Hidden damage shall be reported in writing
within 14 days of its discovery, at the latest.
4. Claims on the part of the Buyer for expenses incurred in remedying a defect – namely transportation, travelling and material costs - are excluded in the
event they are increased due to the transfer of the delivered object to a location other than the Buyer’s place of business.
5. Any modifications or repairs performed unlawfully by the Buyer or by any third party without our prior permission shall void any liability on our part for
consequential damages.
Acceptance of return deliveries
1. No return is accepted without our prior written agreement at our discretion and only in view of exceptional and well-documented circumstances.
2. For goods duly returned with our agreement, credit notes are issued with a deduction of 20% of the relevant net invoiced amount to cover administration
inspection and repackaging costs. No credit notes shall be issued for damaged or otherwise not-resaleable goods. No return deliveries can be accepted
of custom-made items nor of standard products which are no longer in regular production.
3. Likewise, should an order of customised items be cancelled, the Buyer shall be liable for payment of the full agreed amount less any expenses saved by
us as a result of such order cancellation.
Reservation of title
1. The supplied goods shall remain our property until all our claims arising from the business association with the Buyer have been met in full. The Buyer
is entitled to sell or process/integrate the reserved goods in the regular course of business. In the event of a deterioration in the financial circumstances
of the Buyer, we shall be entitled to prohibit the sale/processing or integration of the reserved goods. Resale of such goods is possible only provided the
reseller either receives full payment from his customers or the same title reservation provisions are imposed by the reseller to his customer.
2. The Buyer shall inform us without delay in the event of a discontinuation of payments, material deterioration in his financial circumstances or the
attachment of property.
3. The Buyer shall hold the reserved goods in safekeeping on our behalf at no charge. He shall provide adequate insurance cover the reserved goods against
customary risks such as fire, theft, water and transportation damage. He assigns any claims for insured or third party damages to us to the full extent of
the invoice value of the goods.
Disputes and applicable law
1. The legal venue for all direct or indirect disputes arising from the contractual relationship shall be Torino, Italy. However, we reserve the right to bring a
legal action also to Buyer’s place of business.
2. All contractual relationship is subject to the Italian law.
