top fuel drive

BDL’s monster all billet Top Fuel Street Drive is ready
for action. The 14mm by 85mm wide 3 3/8” belt is the same that the
Top Fuel racers use on the 600-plus horsepower machines. The newly
designed Kevlar clutch consists of varying spring pressure to accommodate any size
motor on the market. The hub is made from 7075 aluminum and then hard-anodized for superior strength.
B5058 is the complete drive with outboard bearing support. The outboard support plate is reversible. The
back side is channeled for another distinct look with the flat side which is polished.

The kit contains bdl’s race proven clutch pack, special aluminum pressure plate with springs and shoulder
bolts. Also includes one piece all aluminum, cast motor plate and starter housing. This plate locks engine and
transmission together. Polished moon pulley covers included on EVO belt drive. These models must use 1991
and later stock style starter, and some modifications will be necessary to install these complete kits.

8mm Primary Belt Drive System for Evolution®

BDL kits cover all ‘86-98 EVO rubber mount 5-speed & 5-speed Softail® models. Complete dry clutch (included)
utilizes BARNETT kevlar plates. The inner clutch hub comes with a 40mm double roll bearing as opposed to
the 35mm stock single. All this adds up to a cleaner, smoother power delivery system with less vibration, and
more horsepower to the rear wheel. Sealed primary bearing included.

This new billet support plate can be retro fitted
to all BDL 3” open 8mm Softail® and Dyna belt
drives. This support plate keeps the engine and
trans shafts from flexing the plate which is a
must for all large engine wide tire applications.
The kit includes a polished custom billet support,
polished pulley covers, new pressure plate with
hardware. Some modifications must be made
for fitment.
