• DO NOT use near water.
• DO NOT place furniture on cord.
• NEVER place the baby’s unit or its adapter in the crib or playpen, or
within the child’s reach.
• DO NOT hang this monitor near or on a crib. The cord can present
a strangulation hazard.
• Always keep the unit out of children’s reach.
• DO NOT use this monitor if it is broken or missing parts.
• This product is designed and intended to be used solely to monitor
the actions of a sleeping child.
• DO NOT use this monitor with products that warn the user: “NEVER
LEAVE CHILD UNATTENDED.”
• This product does not replace responsible adult supervision of a child.
• You should check your child regularly as this product will not detect
your child’s quiet activities.
• This product is not intended to be used as a medical monitor, and its
use should not replace adult supervision.
• Make sure the Parent’s and Baby’s units are functioning properly, on
the same channel, and within reception range of each other.
• It is essential to check the sound reception regularly.
Important Safety Instructions
The Evenflo WhisperConnect Pro Nursery Monitor should NOT be used as a replacement for adult
supervision of children. Please note that any modification to the Baby’s Unit (transmitter) or
Parent’s Unit (receiver) will violate FCC compliance and can void the user’s authority to operate
this monitor set.
1. Read and observe all warnings on the product and in this Owner’s Manual. Pay special
attention to information marked “WARNING” and “IMPORTANT.” This information can affect
your child’s safety. Keep this Owner’s Manual nearby for quick and easy reference.
2. Avoid placement near water or moisture. DO NOT use Baby’s Unit outdoors. DO NOT use
your monitor near a bathtub, shower, sink, laundry tub, swimming pool, wet basement, or
other locations where water or moisture may result in electrocution.
3. Allow for proper ventilation of the adapters and the monitors. DO NOT place your monitor on
or under a rug, bed, sofa, blanket or similar object that blocks its ventilation. DO NOT place it
in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or stereo cabinet. These may impede the air flow
through the ventilation openings.
4. Remove the batteries from the monitor components and unplug the AC adapters if the
monitor will not be used for a long period of time.
5. Avoid placement near heat sources. DO NOT use your monitor near a radiator, stove, heat
register, or other appliance (including amplifiers and TV’s) that produce heat. Heat can damage
the case or components.
Helpful Hints
• For best results, use your AC adapter(s) with the monitor. The power is more consistent than
that of the battery.
• For best battery performance, allow batteries to completely discharge every few weeks.
• This nursery monitor operates over public airwaves. Transmissions from your Baby’s Unit may
be picked up by another product operating on the same frequency. Your Parent’s Unit may
also pick up transmissions from another product on the same frequency. If interference
occurs, change BOTH your Baby’s and Parent’s Units to the alternate frequency channel.
• Always make sure that both units are on the same frequency channel. It is possible for the
Parent’s Unit to pick up the Baby’s Unit even if they are not on the same channel when both
units are close together; however, you’ll experience static and interference.

Operational Range: Your monitor’s typical transmission/reception range is 650 feet (198 m)
depending on battery power and possible obstructions (i.e., walls) that radio waves encounter. The
methods and materials used in your home’s construction, terrain and other factors may also affect
transmission.
Power Light: The Power Light will illuminate green whenever the unit is turned on, whether the
unit is stationary (plugged into adapter) or portable (using battery power).
Channel A/B: If interference occurs, change BOTH your Baby’s Unit and Parent’s Unit to the
alternate frequency channel. The WhisperConnect Pro Nursery Monitor operates over public
airwaves. Transmission from your Baby’s Unit may be picked up by another product if it is on the
same frequency. Your Parent’s Unit may also pick up transmission from another product if it is
broadcasting on the same frequency.
Sound LightsTM: Sound Lights light up when the Parent’s Unit receives sounds. The more lights that
are lit, the louder the sounds.
Low Battery Indicator: When battery power in the Parent’s Unit is low, the Power Light/Low
Battery Indicator will flash. To recharge, attach the AC adapter to the Parent’s Unit, plug the AC
adapter into a standard wall outlet, then set Power/Volume Dial to ON.
Out-of-Range Indicator and Alarm: All Sound LightsTM will light up and flash, and an alarm will
sound on your Parent’s Unit if:
• The units are taken out of range of one another. • The units are set to different channels.
• Power to the Baby’s Unit is lost. • A strong interfering signal starts on the selected channel.
The Out-of-Range Indicator and Alarm can only be stopped by re-establishing contact between the
two units or by turning off the Parent’s Unit. This alarm feature is designed to give you confidence
and reassurance that your Evenflo WhisperConnect Pro Nursery Monitor is functioning properly.
Parent Unit Finder: Press the Finder Button on Baby’s Unit to activate the locating signal. Once
the Parent’s Unit is located, turn Power Switch OFF then ON to deactivate the signal.
Additional Receivers: You may expand WhisperConnect capacity by adding additional receivers
(sold separately). Use only Evenflo WhisperConnect Additional Receiver model 6461550 to expand
this monitor system. Please consult the owner’s manual included with the additional receiver for
warning and safety instructions.

The Baby’s Unit is a transmitter, which sends sounds to the Parent’s Unit (receiver). It is powered
by a hardwired (non-removable) AC adapter.
1. Place the Baby’s Unit on a hard flat surface that is higher than the baby and 5 to 10 feet away
(refer to illustration).
• DO NOT place the Baby’s Unit directly above the baby.
• DO NOT place it on a soft surface or it may tip over.
2. Direct the front of the Baby’s Unit towards the baby. Be sure that there aren’t any large
objects blocking the path between the Baby’s Unit and the baby.
3. Fully extend the cord, and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
4. Rotate the Power Switch from OFF to ON. The Power Light will glow green.
5. Slide the Channel Switch to Channel A or B. Ensure the Baby’s Unit is set to the same
channel as the Parent’s Unit.
6. Turn Pet Detection ON or OFF, as desired.
7. Turn the Baby’s Unit OFF when not in use.
The Parent’s Unit receives sound from the Baby’s’s Unit (transmitter) and is powered by either
rechargeable batteries (already in the unit) or by the AC adapter included with the unit.
1. Ensure Parent’s Unit is charged. To charge, connect AC adapter (provided) to Parent’s Unit
and plug into standard wall outlet. To charge while monitoring, set Power/Volume Dial to
ON. A full charge requires 12 continuous hours.
2. Check the channel switch. Ensure the Baby’s Unit is set to the same channel as the
Parent’s Unit.
3. Use the Parent’s Unit in a different room from the Baby’s Unit.
4. Place the Parent’s Unit where you can easily monitor it by sight or sound.
• When using the adapter, plug it into a standard wall outlet.
• When using batteries, wear the Parent’s Unit using the belt clip or place it where you can
easily see or hear it.
5. Turn on the Parent’s Unit by rotating the Power/Volume Dial; adjust the volume. The
Power Light will glow green. If the Power Light flashes, it indicates that battery power is
low and Parent’s Unit needs to be recharged. NOTE: All sound Lights™ will light up and
flash on the Parent’s Unit if it is not properly receiving signals from the Baby’s Unit.
6. Have someone speak into the Baby’s Unit to verify sound transmission.
7. Turn the Parent’s Unit OFF when not in use.
