IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic
safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles
or knobs.
3. To protect against fire, electric shock
and injury to persons do not immerse
cord, plugs, or the appliance in water
or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when
any appliance is used by or near
children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with
a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. Contact the
Gerber® Parents Resource Center for
examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments
not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire,
electric shock or injury to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of
table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. To disconnect machine, place the
power switch in the OFF position,
then remove plug from wall outlet.
12. Use the appliance only as intended.
SAFE OPERATION AND USE
This appliance may become a safety
hazard if these instructions and safety
precautions are ignored. This appliance
must be properly installed and located in
accordance with these instructions before
it is used.
IMPORTANT
1. In case of an emergency remove
plug from the power outlet
immediately.
2. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable
cord.
3. Use only BabyNes® capsules while
operating the machine.
4. If the machine is not used for a
prolonged period, it must be cleaned
and unplugged; the water tank
emptied and dried inside.
5. Use only municipal tap or bottled
water in this appliance. Do not put
any other liquids or foods in the water
tank as it may damage the machine.
6. Always use the machine on a flat,
stable, heat resistant surface.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND PLACEMENT
Main voltage must be the same as the
details on the rating plate. The machine is
designed for current USA standards.
Do not allow the cable to dangle (trip
hazard). Never touch the cable with wet
hands. Do not use the machine if it is not
operating properly or if there is evidence
of damage. All repairs should be serviced
by the Gerber® Parents Resource Center

outlet during bottle preparation as this will
contaminate the formula. To avoid injury,
do not touch the needle in the opening
for the capsule holder. Never leave the
machine while preparing a bottle.
KEEP ALL COMPONENTS OF THE MACHINE,
INCLUDING THE ELECTRIC CORD, THE
CAPSULE HOLDER AND THE CAPSULE
OPENING TOOL OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN.
Do not disassemble the machine. Any
operation, cleaning and care other than
normal intended use must be undertaken
by the after-sales service centers
approved by the Gerber® Parents Resource
Center.
In case of intensive use without allowing
sufficient cooling time, the machine may
stop functioning temporarily with the red
indicator light blinking. This is to protect
the machine from overheating. Switch
the machine off for 30 minutes to let it
cool down.
TYPE OF WATER FOR SAFE USE
1. For hygienic reasons always wash
your hands before bottle preparation.
Municipal tap water or bottled
drinking water are recommended for
preparation.
2. Always fill the tank with the
recommended water at ambient
temperature. Warm or hot water
might damage the machine and
water below 59°F might prevent you
from reaching the desired bottle
temperature. Do not overfill the water
tank.
3. If the water in the tank is too hot
(above 104°F), the machine will
automatically stop after a few seconds
and display an error message.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning or care, unplug the
machine and let it cool down. Empty and
clean the capsule holder daily and dry it
with a soft and clean towel. Never clean,
wet or immerse plug, electrical cable or
machine in any fluid. Never clean the
machine with running water, do not hose
it down and do not dip it into water. Never
use detergents to clean the machine.
Clean the machine only using soft and
clean towels. Clean the water tank daily
by rinsing with fresh water.
DO NOT PUT ANY PART OF THE MACHINE OR
ITS ACCESSORIES IN THE DISHWASHER.
After using the machine always discard
the used capsule and clean the opening
for the capsule holder according
to the cleaning procedure. Dispose of used
capsules along with general household
waste. When the machine has not been
used for more than 2 days perform rinsing
cycle before reusing the machine.
DESCALING THE MACHINE
It is recommended to perform a descaling
of your BabyNes® machine once per
year. In case you use hard water, it is
recommended to increase the frequency
to 2 to 3 times per year. After the
descaling process, wash the water tank,
the capsule holder and the cleaning tool
with fresh water and clean the opening
for the capsule holder with a soft and
clean towel to remove any residual
descaling agent. The descaling solution
can be purchased directly from
www.babynes.com.

infant formula preparation, unsterilized
baby bottles, improper capsule storage or
handling, incorrect dilution, preparation,
and feeding. Only prepare one bottle
at a time. Feed immediately and follow
the instructions carefully. Once feeding
begins, use contents within one hour or
discard. Always refer to instructions on
infant formula package. Always hold baby
while feeding. Leaving baby unattended
may cause choking.
WARRANTY
Gerber warrants this professional
product against defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of 2 years.
The warranty period begins on the
date of purchase and Gerber requires
presentation of the original proof of
purchase to ascertain the date.
During the warranty period, Gerber will
either repair or replace, at its discretion,
any defective product at no charge to the
owner. Replacement products or repaired
parts will be warranted only for the
unexpired portion of the original warranty
or six months, whichever is greater. This
limited warranty does not apply to any
defect resulting from negligence, accident,
misuse, or any other reason beyond
Gerber reasonable control, including but
not limited to: normal wear and tear,
negligence or failure to follow the product
instructions, improper or inadequate
maintenance, calcium deposits or descal-
ing, connection to improper power supply,
unauthorized product modification or
repair, use for commercial purposes, fire,
lightning, flood or other external causes.
This warranty is valid only in the country
of purchase or in such other countries
where Gerber sells and services the same
model with identical technical specifi-
cations. Warranty service outside the
country of purchase is limited to the terms
and conditions of the corresponding
warranty in the country of service.
Should the cost of repairs or replacement
not be covered by this warranty, Gerber
will advise the owner and the cost shall
be charged to the owner. This limited
warranty shall be the full extent of Gerber
liability however caused. Except to the
extent allowed by applicable law, the
terms of this limited warranty do not
exclude, restrict or modify the mandatory
statutory rights applicable to the sale of
this product and are in addition to those
rights. If you believe your product is
defective, contact Gerber for instructions
on how to proceed with a repair.
Any defect or dysfunction resulting
from the use of non-genuine BabyNes®
capsules will not be covered by this
warranty.

Al utilizar aparatos eléctricos, siempre se

superficie plana, estable y resistente al

PREPARACIÓN SEGURA DEL BIBERÓN
La máquina no funcionará si el soporte de
la cápsula no está insertado. Durante la
preparación del biberón, el soporte de la
cápsula no puede retirarse.
No ponga los dedos debajo de la salida
de la cápsula durante la preparación del
biberón, ya que esto contaminaría la
fórmula. Para evitar lesiones, no toque
la aguja que hay en la apertura para el
soporte de la cápsula. No deje nunca la
máquina desatendida mientras prepara
un biberón.
MANTENGA FUERA DEL ALCANCE DE LOS
NIÑOS TODOS LOS COMPONENTES DE LA
MÁQUINA, INCLUIDOS EL CABLE ELÉCTRICO,
EL SOPORTE DE LA CÁPSULA Y LA HERRA-

En caso de uso intensivo sin permitir
suficiente tiempo de enfriamiento,
la máquina dejará de funcionar
temporalmente y el indicador luminoso
parpadeará en rojo. De este modo se
protege la máquina frente al sobrecalen-
tamiento. Apague la máquina durante
30 minutos y deje que se enfríe.
TIPO DE AGUA PARA UN USO SEGURO
1. Por motivos higiénicos, lávese
siempre las manos antes de preparar
un biberón. Para la preparación se

caliente (por encima de 104°F), la
máquina se detendrá automáticamente
después de unos segundos y mostrará

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de realizar tareas de limpieza y
mantenimiento, desenchufe la máquina
y déjela enfriar. Vacíe y limpie el soporte
de la cápsula diariamente y séquelo con
un paño suave y limpio. No limpie, moje
ni sumerja el enchufe, el cable eléctrico ni
la máquina dentro de ningún líquido. No
limpie nunca la máquina debajo del grifo,
no la lave con una manguera ni la sumerja
en agua. No utilice nunca detergentes para
limpiar la máquina. Limpie la máquina
utilizando solo paños suaves y limpios.
Limpie el depósito de agua diariamente
enjuagándola con agua fresca.

NI SUS ACCESORIOS EN EL LAVAVAJILLAS.
Después de usar la máquina, deseche
siempre la cápsula y limpie la ranura para
el soporte de la cápsula según se indica en
el procedimiento de limpieza. Deseche las
cápsulas usadas junto con la basura domés-
tica general. Cuando la máquina no se haya
utilizado durante más de 2 días, realice un
ciclo de enjuague antes de volver a utilizarla.
DESCACIFICACIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA
Se recomienda realizar una descalcificación
de su máquina BabyNes
®
una vez al año.
En caso de utilizar agua dura, se reco-
mienda aumentar la frecuencia a
2 ó 3 veces al año. Después del proceso de

ENTORNO
El embalaje está compuesto de materiales

Set up the machine on an even and stable surface.
