All the flight modes are shown in the right intertace which includes Flight Mode 0, Flight Mode t,and Flight
Mode 2.Click the left or right navigation mark of the liight mode, which you want to automatically adjust, to
decrease or increase the amount oi gyro gains, respectively If the gyro you use has two modes oi NOR or
Aves, when the amount is less than so o%. NOR mode will be activated The lesser the amount is, the bigger
the gyro gain becomes. The delauit setting is sowu

3.10 Governor
Governor should be set at Device Output (Refer to “2.9 Device Output").
The contml proportion of governor can be separately set in various liight modes For the absolute revoiution
amount. please set in external governor. The amount shown in Devoees‘s governor is just a percentage for
reterence The actual revolution should be read in the external governor.
Setting method:
Touch the icon - to enter Function Menu. and then click the icon . to enter the governor interface.

usable flight modes are shown in the interface According
to the requirement. touch the corresponding liight mode

3.11 Aileron lo Rudder Mix
This function is possible to execute the mix at aileron to rudder. which is controlled by switch
Setting method:
Touch the icon - to enter Function Menu, and then click the icon - to enter the alemn to rudder mix
interface.
(1) Pos 0 Setting
Touch the left or right navigation mark of Lelt to change
the value, and leftward mix value 01 aileron to rudder
will be changed The mix direction will be revised by
changing the sign or plus or minus before the value.
The adjustable range is s125%.
Touch the lett or right navigation mark ol Right to change the value. and the rightward mix value of aileron
to rudder will be changed The mix direction will be revised by changing the sign of plus or minus betcire the
value. The adjustable range is s125%.

3.13 Rudder to AileronIElevator Mix
This function is used to execute the mix of rudder to aileron! elevator. It will help eliminate waver or shake
caused by rudder stick operation.
Setting method:
Touch the icon - to enter Function Menu. and then click . to enter the elevator to aileron/elevator mix
interface
(1) Elevator setting
(1.1) Pos 0 setting:
Touch the left or right navigation mark of Left at Pos 0 to
change the value, and the leftward mix value of rudder to
elevator will be changed.
Touch the left or right navigation mark of Right at Pos 0 to
change the value, and the l rightward mix value at rudderto
elevator will be changed The mix direction will be revised by
changing the sign or plus or minus betore the value. The
adjustable range is 1125-1"
(1 2) Pos 1 setting
Setting is same as above.
(2) Alleron setting
Setting is same as above
(3) Throttle stick setting

This function can modify some streets an elevator. lt is possible
to set three statuses of elevator and three statuses of flap,
respectively, through three-way flap control switch

(1) Elevator setting
There three options: 0: Normal, 1: Midpoint. and 2: Land
(1.1) 0: Normal position
Touch the navigation mark of Normal to change the mix amount. lt is possible to change the direction by
altering D or u before the amount. The delault setting is o%, and the adjustable range is u125% to Dizs%.
(1 2) 1: Midpoint
The setting is same as above.
(1 3) 2: Land
The setting is same as above
(2) Flap setting
The setling for Flap is same as Elevator.
(3) Auto land
Touch the navigation mark oi Auto Land, and expand a dropdown menu including Inhibit and Active li select
Active. another sub menu Thmflle will be shown under Auto Land.
(3 2) Flight mode setting
Auto Iandlng switch can be set in a certain flight mode This setting should be previously set in Wing Type at
Model Menu Refer to “2 10 Wing Type"
Touch the navigation mark of the selected flight mode. and pops up a menu with Switch. Normal, Midpoint,
and Land.

3.15Aileron to Flap Mix
This function can execute the mix at aileron te flap. and can also set switch. The nap dual channels should
be previously set in Wing Type at Model Menu (Rever to “2.10 Wing Type').
Setting method:
Touch the icon - to enter Function Menu, and then click the icon h to enter the aileron to flap mix interface
(1) Pos 0 setting
Touch the left or right navigation mark of Left at Pos 0 to change the leftward mix value of aileron to flap.
Touch the left or right navigation mark at Right at Pos 0 to change the rightward mix value otaileron te flap.
The mix direction will be revised by changing the sign of plus or minus before the value The adjustable range
is 312570
(2) Pes 1 setting
The setting is same as the above.
(3) Throttle Stick setting
The switch between Pos 0 and Pos 1 can be realized by setting the position ct throttle stick. Touch the left

3.15 Program Mix
There are lolal eight sets ct Program Mix. ll is possible to ireely set the channels and amounts which you
want to select and amend, respectively
Setting method:
Touch the icon .- to enter Function Menu, and then click - lo enter the program mix interfaoe. Eight
Program Mix names and thelr current statuses are shown (the factory default setting is lnhibit) Take Program
Mix 1 as an example to show how to use
(1) Setting method for Normal in Program Mix 1
Touch the item Normal in Program Mix 1 and expands an enquiry "All Servos Hold?" Click OK for all the servos
will be locked at the current statuses; click Cancel tor unlocked Entertrle next interface otter clicking
(1.1) Mater channel selling
Touch the navigation mark at Master and expands a selectabie drcpduwn menu. After clicking the desired
channel the channel name will be shown in Master.

(1 a 1) Mix emcunl setting el Pos 0 when elevelor stick moved upward
Touch left or right navigation mark of Up to decrease or increase, seperelelv, the mix amount it is possiole
to reverse mix direction through changing the plus or minus sign before amount The adjustable range is
t125%.
(1 3 2) Mix amount setting at Pos 0 when elevator stick moved downward
Touch lelt or right navigation mark or Down to decrease or increase, separately. the mix amount it is possibie
to reverse mix direction through changing the plus or minus sign helore amount The adjustable range is
t125%.
(1 3 3) The settings at Pos 1 and Offset are same as above
(1.4) Throttle stick setting
Touch the navigation mark of Throttle Stick to set its position as a free switch. The adjustabie range is 0.0-
100.0%.
(1.5) Switch selection
Touch the right navigation mark or Switch and pop up a dropdown menu which contains the adjustable items.
Click the desired switch Then touch the right navigation mark to return the previous interface.
Click the icon H to return to [he interiaoe of Program Mix for other setting, or click the icon H once again to

(2) Setting method lor Curve in Program Mix2
Touch the item Curve in Program Mix 1 and expands an enquiry "Ali Servos Hoid7" Ciick OK for ah the servos

There are two options: Pos 0 and Pos 1. Seiect the desired position by touching the navigation mark.
(2.4) Exponential
Touch the navigation mark or Exponential and expand a dropdown menu with two options of on and On. The
pitch curve will be smoothly changed it choosing On. Otnewvise choosing on

automatically switch.

then ciick the navigation mark to return.
Click the icon “to return to the interface of Program Mix tor other setting. or click the icon u once again
to exit.
3.17 Monitor
This function can dispiay the Current statuses and positions of all the channeis' outputs. and check the current
working status oieach channel.
Touch the icon - to enter Function Menu, and then ciick the icon . to enter the monitor interface for
checking the current working status of each channel Click to the icon u exit after finished

3.18 Fail Safe
There are two possibilities for use it the transmission signal is under abnormal condition The first one is to
lock the last action data received; the second one is to execute the preset data which is presset The default
setting is Servo Held
Setting melhcd:
Touch the ioon - to enter Function Menu. and then Click - to enter the interface of Fail Safe.
Take the item Elevator as an example to explain.
Elevator setting:
Touch the item Elevator and expand a sub-item in its right Click the left or right navigation mark to decrease
or increase. respectively. the position amount which centers on the neutral point of servo
The setting methods for other channels are same as above

Note: checking whelher all the actions when fail safe happened are correct is a must afierthe setting is finished.

3.19 Trainer
Two DEVOVGS transmltters worklng together can execute the training function (a meet the requirements for
the beglnner. The setting method is shown as beiow:

Using the Wireless copy function of the two DEVOVBS transmitters, the model data saved in the tminers transmitter
can be transmitted to lhetrainee‘s to ensure the model
parameters are exactly same Regarding the copying
methoo, reler to "2 4 Model Wireless Copy".
(2) Linkage
insert one end of the slgnal wlre lnto DSC Socket at
the rear (ace cithe Iralnee‘s DEVO-BS, and then turn
on the power A linkage icon wiii be shown on the
beat screen Find out the Irainee‘s modei data at its
DEV0785.

(3) Usage method
The training switch can be freely switchable between Left trim and Right trim. The default setting is Right
lrlm Shown as below:
Right trim
During night. it the trainer pushes Right Trim once,
lhe lingkage icon will he shown as u" that means the
control righi is moved lo the trainee from Trainer. If
trainer pushes Righi Trim once again, the linkage icon
will be shown as -x- that means the trainer takes back
the control right from the trainee.
(4) Setting tor training lunction channels
Trainee is available to get full or part of flight control power to the helicopter model via setting the training
function channel in the trainer's DEVO-SS Below is the setting method:
Touch the shortcut ioon ”to enter Funciiun Menu. and ihen touch - in Function Menu acoess in Trainer
screen The available channels are shown below, and the current status or trainer switch TRN is also shown
Press the navigation Sign of the swich lhe there will come
out two choicesiefl trirning button and lett Iriming button,
press the upiion for the TRN
Touch the channel(s) which you desire to grant to trainee.
The channel(s) you have touched will be activated as
“Active” The channels which are not granted to trainee
