Operations Step 1 Battery Installation 1. Open the detector’s battery cover as shown below. 2. Pull out the insulation sheet from the battery slot to power up the detector.. 3. Adding Motion Detector - Log into the EZVIZ App, click on the "+" signal on the top right to add the device. - Scan the device QR code to add it to the Internet Alarm Hub. • Option 2 Adding by Operating Home Sense Alarm Hub 1. Enable the “Adding Detectors Mode” of your Home Sense Alarm Hub by quickly pressing its Settings button. When yellow and red indicators start flashing you may begin adding the detector.. 2. Bring motion detector close to the Home Sense Alarm Hub (within 2ft) and press the button on the back of motion detector to send the adding request. Internet Alarm Hub Within 50 cm Setting Button 3. Once added, the Alarm Hub will announce the type and serial number of the detector. Step 3 Installing Motion Detector 1. Choose location to place the Motion Detector Choose one corner in the room and install the motion detector at a height of 6ft to 8ft from the floor. False alarm may be triggered when your pet climbs up onto the couch or fridge. The pet's weight should be less than 55lbs. False alarm may be triggered if you have several pets. 2. Installing the Base Secure the base to the selected position with the foam sticker or the screws. Make sure the installation surface is flat and clean. Securing with the Foam Sticker - Paste the foam sticker onto the back of the base. - Stick the base onto the installation surface. Securing with Screws - Drill two screw holes according to the base. - Align the holes on the base with the drilled holes. - Push the screws into the screw holes to secure the base with wall. 3. Installing the Detector 1) Fix the angle bar to the base by pushing the bar into the hole on the base. 2) Align the groove on the motion detector with the hook on the angle bar. 3) Hook the motion detector to the angle bar and pull down the motion detector to secure it. 4) Adjust the detection angle as desired. 4. Testing (Optional) You can test the detection angle after the installation. Press the Settings Button on the back of motion detector for 3 seconds to switch the detector to the testing mode. Walk in the detection area to trigger the alarm. The motion detector automatically returns to the normal mode after 2 minutes. See page 22-26 for maintenance and appendix information. Puede activarse una falsa alarma si tiene varias mascotas. 12 2. Instalación de la base Fije la base en la selección que desee con el adhesivo de espuma o los tornillos. Asegúrese de que la superficie de instalación sea lista y esté limpia. El Detector de Movimiento PIR cambiará automáticamente al modo normal después de 2 minutos. Ajout de Detector Ouvrez une session dans l'application EZVIZ et scannez le code QR de l'appareil pour l'ajouter au concentrateur d'alarme Internet. 16 • Option 2 Ajout au concentrateur d'alarme Internet 1. Activez le mode Ajout de détecteurs de votre concentrateur d'alarme Internet. Pour plus de précisions sur le fonctionnement de votre concentrateur d'alarme Internet, reportez-vous au Guide de prise en main. 2. Placez le Detector à proximité du concentrateur d'alarme Internet (50 cm maxi) puis appuyez sur le bouton situé au dos pour transmettre la demande d'ajout. Le concentrateur d'alarme Internet émet un message vocal indiquant que le type de matériel et le n° de série, signalant que le Detector a été ajouté. 17 Étape 3 - Installation du Detector 1. Sélection de l'emplacement Il est conseillé d'installer le détecteur dans l'angle du salon. Le détecteur doit être placé à 1,8-2,5 m au-dessus du sol. La plage de détection est indiquée par les deux chiffres sur la droite. Le détecteur doit être éloigné du sol de 2,1 à 2,6 mètres. Le poids de l’animal domestique doit être inférieur à 25 kg. Lorsqu’il monte sur le canapé ou sur un réfrigérateur, votre animal domestique peut déclencher une fausse alerte. La présence de plusieurs animaux domestiques est source de fausse alerte. 19 2. Installation du socle Fixez le socle à l'emplacement choisi au moyen du patin adhésif en mousse ou des vis. La surface d'installation doit être plate et propre. Fixation au moyen du patin en mousse - Collez le patin adhésif en mousse au dos du socle. - Collez le socle sur la surface d'installation. Fixation au moyen de vis - Percez deux trous de même écartement que ceux du socle. - Faites coïncider ceux du socle avec ceux que vous avez percés. - Insérez les vis pour fixer le socle au mur. 3. Installation du détecteur 1) Fixez l'équerre au socle en l'enfonçant dans l'ouverture prévue à cet effet. 20 2) Faites coïncider la rainure du Detector avec le crochet de l'équerre. 3) Suspendez le Detector à l'équerre et appuyez sur le Detector pour la fixer. 4. 4) Réglez l'angle de détection selon vos besoins. Test (facultatif) Après l'installation, vous pouvez tester l'angle de détection. Maintenez le bouton de réglage au dos du Detector enfoncé pendant 3 secondes pour activer ou désactiver le mode test. Vous pouvez alors entrer dans la zone de détection pour déclencher l'alarme. La Détecteur repasse automatiquement en mode normal au bout de 2 minutes. Reportez-vous aux pages 22 à 26 pour obtenir des informations annexes et relatives à la maintenance. 21 Maintenance Changing Battery When the detector’s battery is low, the detector will send a low battery warning to the EZVIZ app to remind you to change the battery. - Take the detector off from the base. - Open the detector’s battery cover and then change the battery. - Install the detector back to the base. Debugging Do not disassemble the device or adjust the settings without authorization. Disassembling the Detector - Open the detector’s battery cover and loosen the screws on the two sides of the battery slot, as shown in the following figure. Screws - Separate the front cover and the rear cover, you can see the DIP switch on the main board. 22 Setting the Sensitivity Adjust the terminals 1 and 2 of SW2 on the board to adjust the sensitivity: Sensitivity High Medium (Recommended) Low Lower Terminal 1 OFF Terminal 2 OFF ON OFF OFF ON ON ON Turning on/off the LED Indicator Adjust the terminal 4 of SW2 on the board to turn on/off the LED indicator: Turn on terminal 4 and the LED indicator blinks when alarm occurs; Turn off terminal 4 and the LED indicator remains unlit when alarm occurs. 23 Setting the Working Mode Normal Mode (Default): In this mode, if the detector gets triggered several times within 1 minute, it sends the first detected alarm to EZVIZ app. If the detector gets triggered 1 minute later from the first alarm, another alarm signal is sent. Example: If the detector gets triggered at 10:00:00, 10:00:50,10:01:01, and 10:02:05, the detector sends three alarms at 10:00:00, 10:01:01, and 10:02:05 to the EZVIZ app. Dynamic Mode (Applicable to Crowded Places): Turn the terminal 3 of SW2 to ON to switch to the Dynamic Mode. In this mode, if the detector gets triggered several times within 1 minute, it sends the first detected alarm to EZVIZ app. If the detector gets triggered 1 minute later from the last alarm, another alarm signal is sent.
