Blooming or smearing may occur (which is not a malfuncon), and affect the sensor’s endurance at the same me.● The sensor may be burned out by a laser beam, so when any laser equipment is in use, make sure that the surface of sensor will not be exposed to the laser beam.● Do not place the camera in extremely hot, cold (the operang temperature shall be -10°C to +50°C), dusty, or damp locaons, and do not expose it to high electromagnec radiaon. ● To avoid heat accumulaon, ensure that there is good venlaon to the device. ● Keep the camera away from liquids. ● While in delivery, pack the camera in its original, or equivalent, packing, packing materials. Or packing of the same texture.● Regular part replacement: a few parts (e.g. electrolyc capacitor) of the equipment shall be replaced regularly according to their average endurance. The average me varies because of differences between operang environments and usage history, so regular checking is recommended for all users. You can connect the camera directly to a computer, or connect i t via a router or switch.- Check the memory card status by tapping on the Storage Status in the Device Sengs interface.- If the memory card status displays as Uninialized, tap to inialize it. The status will then change to Normal. You can then start recording any event triggered video in the camera such as moon detecon.RecordingLaunch  the  Hik-Connect  app,  tap  a  connected  device  and  tap Gallery buon  to play back.PlaybackLaunch the Hik-Connect app and tap Message to see the alarm messages.Alarm Noficaon51Hold the camera body to adjust the panning and lng posion.2Adjust the surveillance angle.Hik-Connect Setup- Download and install the Hik-Connect app by searching the “Hik-Connect” in App Store or Google PlayTM.- Launch the app and register for a Hik-Connect user account.- Log in Hik-Connect app aer registraon.15Modifying the IP AddressStep 3To view and configure the camera via LAN (Local Area Network), you need to connect the network camera in the same subnet with your PC. You can use SADP to change the IP address of the camera. Note: you can also use client soware to modify IP address. Refer to the user manual of client soware for detailed informaon.- Run the SADP soware.- Select the device. If the device is inacve, acvate it first.- Change the device IP address to the same subnet with your computer by either modifying the IP address manually or checking the checkbox of Enable DHCP.- Input the password to take effect the IP address modificaon.360°120504151061208NutScrew the camera body to the bracket. STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED– We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case leers, lower case leers, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, reseng the password monthly or weekly can beer protect your product.- Confirm the password.- Click OK to save the password and enter the live view interface.Acvate the Camera via SADP- Get the SADP soware from the supplied disk or the official website, and install the SADP according to the prompts.- Run the SADP soware to search the online devices.- Check the device status from the device list, and select the inacve device.- Create a password and input the password into the password field. Click Login.  Note: The device IP address gets locked if the admin user performs 7 failed password aempts (5 aempts for the user/operator).- Install the plug-in.  Note: You may have to close the web browser to finish the installaon of the plug-in.- Reopen the web browser aer the installaon of the plug-in and repeat the steps to login.Operang via Hik-Connect AppStep 1Step 2Adding Device to Hik-Connect- Use a network cable to connect the device with a router if the device does not support Wi-Fi.   Note: Aer the device connects to the network, please wait one minute before any operaon on the device using Hik-Connect app. - In the Hik-Connect app, tap “+” on the upper-right corner and then scan the QR code of the device to add the device. You can find the QR code on the mounng base of the device or on the cover of the Quick Start Guide of the device in the device package.- Follow the prompts to set the network connecon and add the device to your Hik-Connect account.Step 3Launch the Hik-Connect app and you can get the live view of the connected devices.Live View16
