FCC and IC Rules
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and Industry Canada’s license-exempt
RSSs. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may
cause undesired operation.
This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one of the following measures:




Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This device has been designed to operate with the antennas listed below, and having a
maximum gain of 4 dBi (Cellular) and 6.25 dBi (Bluetooth Low Energy). Antennas not
included in this list or having a gain greater than 4 dBi (Cellular) and 6.25 dBi (Bluetooth
Low Energy) are strictly prohibited for use with this device. The required antenna
impedance is 50 ohms.
To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should
be so chosen that the equivalent isotopically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that
permitted for successful communication.

communication soit possible.

WARNING!
FCC and IC Radiation Exposure Statement:
This device complies with FCC’s and IC’s RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment under the following conditions:
1. This device should be installed and operated such that a minimum separation
distance of 20 cm is maintained between the radiator (antenna) & user’s/nearby
person’s body at all times.
2. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.
3. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user´s authority to operate the equipment.
ATTENTION!

RMM-W
The RMM-W is a remote wireless communication device designed for refrigerated containers. The
RMM-W unit provides wireless technologies for fast data transfer, long distance communication
and tracking.
The RMM-W unit uses machine-to-machine cell phone technology to forward all exceptions such
as alarms and power on/off events as they occur, and will provide full set of data at pre-set
scheduled intervals to the Emerson - ProAct™ Server.
The RMM-W is to be fastened with tape from 3M, specification of tape can be found on below link

Attention!
In order to ensure proper and durable installation with adhesive tape it is mandatory to follow the
Tape manufacturer’s Usage Guidelines for Installation.
Surface conditioning and cleaning as well a the process window for temperature during installation
have to be respected in any case.
