Software Installation There are three device drivers that will be automatically installed; USB composite device, MagicSecure3500, and USB human interface device. For Windows 98 1. USB composite device At the Add New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next. At the screen shown above, select Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended), and then click Next. -5- At the screen shown above, select Specify a location, and then click Next. At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation When the driver installation is complete and the screen indicating that Windows has finished installing USB composite device appears, click Finish. 2. MagicSecure3500 At the Add New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next. At the screen shown above, select Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended), and then click Next. -6- At the screen shown above, insert the MagicSecure CD and select CD ROM drive, and then click Next. Note: If the path to the CD ROM drive is not found 1) Ensure that the CD has been inserted. 2) After verifying the CD is inserted, click Back to return to the screen where the drive is specified. 3) Select Specify a location, and then click Browse.... 4) At Folder Browse, specify the CD-ROM drive and click OK. At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation. -7- When the driver installation is complete and the screen indicating that Windows has finished installing MagicSecure3500 appears, click Finish. 3. USB human interface device At the Add New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next. At the screen shown above, select Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended), and then click Next. At the screen shown above, select Specify a location, and then click Next. At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation. -8- When the driver installation is complete and the screen indicating that Windows has finished installing USB human interface device appears, click Finish. For Windows ME At the Add New Hardware Wizard screen shown above select Specify the location of the driver (Advanced), and then click Next. At the screen shown above, insert the MagicSecure CD and select Removable media (Floppy, CD-ROM...), and then click Next. At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation. -9- When the driver installation is complete and the screen indicating that Windows has finished installing MagicSecure3500 appears, click Finish. For Windows 2000 At the Found New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next. At the screen shown above, select Search for a suitable driver for my device (Recommended), and then click Next. At the screen shown above, insert the MagicSecure CD and select CD-ROM drive from Optional search locations, and then click Next. At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation. - 10 - When the driver installation is complete, and the Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard screen for MagicSecure3500 appears, click Finish. For Windows XP At the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard screen, select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next. Insert the MagicSecure CD and select Search removable media (Floppy, CD-ROM...), and then click Next. When the driver installation is complete and the Completing the Fond New Hardware Wizard screen for MagicSecure3500 appears, click Finish. - 11 -
