COMPATIBLE UNITS
The THGN132N is compatible with a variety of
multi-channel units.
NOTE If unsure about the compatibility, please
consult your dealer.
GETTING STARTED
SENSOR SET UP
1. Slide open the battery door.
2. Insert the battery, matching the polarities (+
/ -). See FIG 2.
3. Press RESET after each battery change.
NOTE Install battery in the remote sensor
before the main unit.
4. Slide channel switch to select a channel (1,
2, 3). Ensure you use a different channel
for each sensor.
5. Press RESET.
6. Close the battery door.
7. Initiate a sensor search on the main unit to
start receiving temperature / humidity data
from the sensor.
PRECAUTIONS
x Do not subject the unit to excessive force,
shock, dust, temperature or humidity
x Do not cover the ventilation holes with any
items such s newspapers, curtains etc.
x Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill
liquid over it, dry it immediately with a soft,
lint-free cloth.
x Do not clean the unit with abrasive or
corrosive materials.
x Do not tamper with the unit ’s internal
components. This invalidates the warranty.
x Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new
and old batteries.
x Images shown in this manual may differ
from the actual display.
x When disposing of this product, ensure it is
collected separately for special treatment.
x Placement of this product on certain types
of wood may result in damage to its finish
for which Oregon Scientific will not be
responsible. Consult the furniture
manufacturer's care instructions for
information.
x The contents of this manual may not be
reproduced without the permission of the
manufacturer.
x Do not dispose old batteries as unsorted
municipal waste. Collection of such waste
separately for special treatment is
necessary.
x Please note that some units are equipped
with a battery safety strip. Remove the strip
from the battery compartment before first
use.

8. Secure the sensor in the desired location
using the wall mount or table stand.
For best results:
x Place the sensor within 30 m (100 ft) of the
main unit.
x Place the sensor out of direct sunlight and
moisture.
x Position the sensor so that it faces the main
(indoor) unit, minimizing obstructions such
as doors, walls and furniture.
x Place the sensor in a location with a clear
view to the sky, away from metallic /
electronic objects.
x Position the sensor close to the main unit
during cold winter months as below-freezing
