26Basic OperationTurning On or OffStandby Setup: The AC power cord must be connected to have the TV in standby mode and ready tobe turned on. Press the ON/OFF button on the side panel of the TV to go into standby mode.1. If the TV is in standby mode, press the POWER button on the remote or the TV itself to turn the TVon.2. Press the POWER button again on the remote controller or the TV itself to turn the TV off.Channel SelectionYou can select a channel number with the CH+ /CH- button or NUMBER buttons.Volume AdjustmentPress the VOL+ / VOL- button to adjust the sound level.Sound MutePress the MUTE button. 29Setting up TV ChannelAuto ScanAutomatically finds all channels available through the Antenna or Cable and stores them in memory onthe channel list.1.
