1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure the electricity has been turned
off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before you begin.
2. All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code ANSI/
NFPA 70 and local electrical codes. Electrical installation should be
performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
3. The outlet box and support structure must be securely mounted and capable
of reliably supporting 35 lbs. (15.9 kg). Use only UL Listed outlet boxes
marked “Acceptable for Fan Support of 35 lbs. (15.9 kg) or less.”
4. The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 7 ft (2.1 m) clearance from the
trailing edge of the blades to the oor.
5. Do not place objects in the path of the blades.
6. To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items, use caution
when working around or cleaning the fan.
7. Electrical diagrams are for reference only. Light kits that are not packed
with the fan must be UL-listed and marked suitable for use with the model
fan you are installing. Switches must be UL General Use Switches. Refer
to the instructions packaged with the light kits and switches for proper
assembly.
8. After making electrical connections, spliced conductors should be turned
upward and pushed carefully up into the outlet box. The wires should be
spread apart with the grounded conductor and the equipment-grounding
conductor on one side of the outlet box.
9. All setscrews must be checked and retightened where necessary
before installation.
>(9505.! To reduce the risk of personal injury, do
not bend the blade brackets (also referred to as
anges) during assembly or after installation. Do
not insert objects in the path of the blades.
>(9505.! Remove the rubber motor stops on the
bottom of the fan before installing the blades or
testing the motor.

shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state
speed control device.
>(9505.! To avoid possible electrical shock, turn
the electricity off at the main fuse box before
wiring. If you feel you do not have enough electrical
wiring knowledge or experience, contact a licensed

The supplier warrants the fan motor to be free from defects in workmanship and material present at time of shipment from the factory for a
lifetime after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. The supplier also warrants that all other fan parts, excluding any glass or acrylic
blades, to be free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of two years after the date
of purchase by the original purchaser. We agree to correct such defects without charge or at our option replace with a comparable or superior
model if the product is returned. To obtain warranty service, you must present a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. All costs of removing
and reinstalling the product are your responsibility. Damage to any part, such as by accident, misuse, improper installation, or by afxing any
accessories, is not covered by this warranty. Because of varying climatic conditions this warranty does not cover any changes in brass nish,
including rusting, pitting, corroding, tarnishing, or peeling. Brass nishes of this type give their longest useful life when protected from varying

Installation
MOUNTING OPTIONS
>(9505.! To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or personal
injury, mount to an outlet box marked “Acceptable for fan
support of 35 lbs. (15.9 Kg) or less,” and use the screws
provided with the outlet box. An outlet box commonly used for
the support of lighting xtures may not be acceptable for fan
support and may need to be replaced. If in doubt, consult a
qualied electrician.
If your ceiling fan does not have an existing UL-listed mounting
box, then install one using the following instructions:
ƑDisconnect the power by removing the fuses or turning off
the circuit breakers.
ƑSecure the outlet box directly to the building structure. Use
the appropriate fasteners and materials. The outlet box and
its bracing must be able to fully support the weight of the
moving fan (at least 35 lbs.). Do not use a plastic outlet box.
The illustrations below show three different ways to mount the
outlet box.
If the canopy touches the downrod, then remove the decorative canopy
bottom cover and turn the canopy 180° before attaching the canopy to
the mounting plate.
To hang your fan where there is an existing xture but no ceiling joist,
you may need an installation hanger bar as shown above
(available at any Home Depot store).
56;,! You may need a longer downrod to maintain proper
blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. The
maximum angle allowable is 30° away from horizontal.

ƑRemove the canopy ring (GG) from the canopy (C) by turning the
ring counter-clockwise until it unlocks.
ƑRemove the mounting bracket (A) from the canopy (C) by
loosening the two canopy screws (EE) located in the “L shaped”
slots.
ƑRemove and save the two canopy screws (FF) in the round
holes. This will enable you to remove the mounting bracket (A).
ƑRoute the wires exiting the top of the fan motor
assembly (E) through the center of the canopy ring
(GG). Make sure the slots on the canopy ring (GG) are
on top.
ƑInsert the ball/downrod (B) through the canopy (C) and
slide the decorative motor collar cover (D) onto the end
of the ball/downrod (B). Make sure the slots on the
canopy (C) are on top.
ƑRoute the wires exiting the top of the fan motor
assembly (E) through the downrod (B) as shown.

ƑLoosen, but do not remove, the setscrew (HH) on the motor
collar (II) on top of the fan motor assembly (E) by turning it
counterclockwise.
ƑInstall the downrod (B) by inserting it into the motor collar (II),
and turning it clockwise until it is tight.
ƑRe-tighten the setscrew (HH) on the motor collar (II) on top of
the fan motor assembly (E), by turning it clockwise.
56;,!This fan is equipped with a safety tab (JJ). Should
the setscrew (HH) ever become loose while the fan is
running in reverse, the safety tab (JJ) will engage and
stop the fan from falling.
*(<;065! To ensure wobble-free operation and to avoid
damage to the fan, the downrod (B) and the setscrew
(HH) must be completely tightened

Assembly - Close-To-Ceiling Mount
ƑRemove three of the six screws and lock washers (PP)
(every other one) securing the motor collar to the top of the
fan-motor assembly (E).
ƑRoute the wires exiting the top of the fan-motor assembly
(E) through the rubber gasket (DD) aligning the holes in the
rubber gasket (DD) with the three screw holes in the fan-
motor assembly (E).
ƑRoute the wires exiting the top of the fan-motor assembly
(E) through the canopy ring (GG), and the canopy (C) (make
sure the slot openings for the canopy ring and canopy are
on top. Place the canopy (C) over the collar (II) at the top of
the motor (E).
ƑAlign the mounting holes in the canopy (C) with the screw
holes in the motor (E) and fasten using the three screws
and lock washers (PP) (removed previously). Tighten the
mounting screws securely.

ƑRemove canopy ring (GG) from the canopy (C) by turning the
ring counter-clockwise until it unlocks.
ƑRemove the mounting bracket (A) from the canopy (C) by
loosening the two canopy screws (EE) located in the “L
shaped” slots
ƑRemove and save the two canopy screws (FF) in the round
holes. This will enable you to remove the mounting bracket
(A).
ƑRemove the decorative canopy bottom cover (KK) from the
canopy (C) by pressing the three studs located inside the
bottom of the canopy.

Assembly - Hanging the Fan
Attaching the mounting bracket to
the outlet box Hanging the fan
ƑLoosen the two mounting screws (1) in the outlet box.
ƑPass the 120-Volt supply wires through the center hole in the
mounting bracket (A).
ƑSlide the mounting bracket (A) on to the mounting screws (1)
and center the mounting bracket (A) in relation to the outlet box.
If necessary, use leveling washers (not included) between the
slide-on mounting bracket (A) and the outlet box. The at side
of the slide-on mounting bracket (A) should face toward the
outlet box, as shown.
ƑSecurely tighten the two mounting screws (1).
ƑCarefully lift the fan-motor assembly (E) up to the slide-on
mounting bracket (A).
ƑInsert the ball portion of the ball/downrod assembly into the
socket of the slide-on mounting bracket.
ƑTurn the ball/downrod assembly clockwise until it is seated
with the tab of the slide-on mounting bracket aligned with the
slot in the ball.
ƑIf using close-to-ceiling mounting, hang the fan on the hook
provided by utilizing one of the holes at the outer rim of the
ceiling canopy (C).

may result in the hook (XX) breaking, causing the fan to fall.

Making the electrical connection
ƑThe fan comes with 78 in. lead wires for use with an extended
ball/downrod assembly. If using the 6 in. ball/downrod
assembly (B) provided, you can cut the lead wires to your
desired length (no shorter than 12 in.) This will make extra
room in the canopy (C), if you do not wish to cut the wires,
you will need to neatly wrap them.
ƑConnect the fan motor green wires to the household green or
bare wire using a wire connecting nut (BB).
ƑConnect the fan motor white wire to the household white wire
using a wire connecting nut (BB).
ƑConnect the fan motor black wire to the household black wire
using a wire connecting nut (BB).
ƑSecure each wire connecting nut using electrical tape.
ƑTurn the wire connecting nut (BB) upward and push the wiring
into the outlet box (LL).

fan. Secure the connectors with electrical tape and ensure there
are no loose strands or connections.

ƑAlign the locking slots of the ceiling canopy (C) with the two
screws in the mounting bracket (A). Push up to engage the
slots and turn clockwise to lock in place.
ƑFirmly tighten the two mounting screws.
ƑInstall the two mounting screws (saved from Assembly Step 1
“Preparing for mounting”) into the holes in the canopy (C) and
tighten rmly.
ƑInstall the decorative canopy ring (GG) by aligning the ring’s
slots with the screws in the canopy (C). Rotate the ring
clockwise to lock in place.

>(9505.! When using the standard ball/downrod mounting, the
tab in the ring at the bottom of the mounting bracket must rest in
the groove of the hanger ball. Failure to properly seat the tab in
the groove could cause damage to the wiring.

ƑCarefully unhook the fan from the mounting bracket (A) and
align the locking slots of the ceiling canopy (C) with the two
screws in the mounting bracket (A). Push up to engage the
slots and turn clockwise to lock in place. Immediately tighten
the two mounting screws rmly.
ƑInstall the two mounting screws (saved from Assembly Step 1
“Preparing for mounting” into the holes in the canopy (C) and
tighten rmly.
ƑInstall the decorative canopy ring (GG) by aligning the ring’s
slots with the screws in the canopy (C). Rotate the ring
clockwise to lock in place.
ƑYou may now proceed to attaching the fan blades.
>(9505.! The locking slots of ceiling canopy are provided only
as an aid to mounting. Do not leave the fan assembly unattended
until all four canopy screws are engaged and rmly tightened.

into the blade bracket (F).
ƑFasten the blade bracket (F) to the motor (E) by inserting the
alignment post into the slot on the bottom of the fan-motor
assembly (E) and tightening the motor screws (SS).
ƑRepeat for the remaining four blade brackets (F).

ƑMount the fan blades (G) to the blade bracket (F) by aligning
the three key-slot holes in the blade (G) with the three posts
on the top of the blade brackets (F).
ƑHold the blade (G) with both hands close to the blade bracket
(F) and press the blade (G) down rmly. Ensure the key-slot
holes are properly seated on the blade arm posts.
ƑWhile still holding the blade (G) down with both hands, rmly
slide the blade (G) away from the fan-motor assembly (E) until
the blade (G) engages in the locking mechanism. Make sure
the steel locking mechanism at the rear of the blade bracket
(H) springs upward and snaps into place against the edge of
the blade (G) indicating a secure connection.
ƑVisually inspect the top of the blade bracket (F) to ensure the
locking mechanism is securely in place.
ƑRepeat for the remaining blades (G).

Assembly - Installing the Switch Cup
ƑRemove one screw (TT) from the black bracket below the fan
motor assembly (E) and loosen, but do not remove the other
two screws.
ƑPush the switch cup (H) up to the fan motor assembly (E) so
the two loosened screw heads t into the keyhole slots. Turn
the switch cup (H) clockwise to secure.
ƑRe-install the screw (TT) that was removed in step 1.
ƑMake sure all the screws are rmly tightened.

the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the
light xture.
56;,! Notice the location of the fan’s slide switch. This is the
switch used to change the fan’s directional rotation. For more
information on the operation of this switch, see Operating
Your Fan on page 16.
56;,! This light kit cannot be transferred to another fan.
Assembly - Attaching the Lights
ƑRemove the three screws (OO) on the switch cup cover of
the light kit tter assembly (I).
ƑConnect the wires from the light kit tter assembly (I) to
the wires from the switch cup by connecting the molded
adaptor plugs together (blue to black, white to white).
Carefully tuck all wires and splices into the switch cup.
ƑAlign the three holes in the switch cup cover of the light kit
tter assembly (I) with the three holes in the switch cup.
ƑRe-install the three screws (OO) that were removed in rst
step to secure the light kit tter assembly (I).

Assembly - Assembling the Fan Without the Light Kit

the glass bowl

ƑRemove the nial nut (P), bottom cover (O), hex nut (N), and
rubber washer (M) from the threaded nipple of the light kit
tter assembly (I).
ƑWith power off, install the three CFL Light bulb, (14-Watt
maximum included) (J) by screwing into the light bulb
sockets.
ƑPosition the glass bowl (K) over the threaded nipple.
ƑRe-install the rubber washer (M), hex nut (N), and bottom
cover (O) to the threaded nipple to secure the glass shade
properly.
ƑRe-install and tighten the nial nut (P).
*(<;065! Do not over tighten the hex nut, overtightening the
hex nut may cause the glass to break.

Assembling the fan without the
light kit

ƑRemove the three light kit mounting screws (PP) on the side of
the light kit tter assembly (I).
ƑIn order to use the fan without the light kit, remove the switch
cup cover (R) from the light kit tter assembly (I) by removing
the center hex nut inside the switch cup cover (R), and then
thread the switch cup cover off of the threaded nipple on the
top of the light kit tter assembly (I).
ƑPress the plastic plug (CC) (provided) into the center hole of
the switch cup (I).
ƑPosition the switch cup cover (R) onto the switch cup and
reinstall the light kit mounting screws (PP).

>(9505.! To prevent breaking of the glass and to avoid personal
injury, hand tighten all parts in order, DO NOT use any tools to
tighten nut or nial.

Operating Your Fan and Remote Control
Learning process
The remote control must be paired with the fan’s receiver piror to
use. To pair the remote and fan receiver, follow the steps below:
ƑEnsure the main power source for the fan is off prior to
beginning the pairing process.
ƑTurn the main power source for the fan on (wall switch and/or
breaker box).
ƑWithin 30 seconds of turning the fan’s AC power ON, press and
hold the button for 5 seconds to enter the learning function.
Once the receiver has detected the set frequency, the down light
of your fan, if applicable, will blink twice. There is no indication if
your fan is not equipped with a light.
56;,! After the AC power is on, do not press any other button
on the remote control before pressing the “FAN ON/OFF” button.
Doing so will cause the procedure to fail.
56;,! The remote control can learn multiple receivers. Make sure
no other receivers are operating during the learning process.
Separate the fan power switches by approximately 2 meters.

Operating Your Fan and Remote Control (continued)
1. Fan button. - Press and release the button to turn the fan on or off.
ƑPress and hold the button for 5 seconds to enter the learning function.
ƑFan on. The fan memory function will resume the speed set on the fan prior to the power being turned off. The LED bar will display
the current settings for 5 seconds after the button is released.
ƑFan off. The fan memory function will store the current setting for the next time the fan is in use.
2. Speed functions
+ button, increases the fan speed
ƑPressing and releasing the + button one time will increase the speed of the fan. Each setting increase will cause the LED bar to
illuminate slightly more, until the fan has reached the maximum speed setting, at that time the LED bar will be fully illuminated.
ƑPressing and holding the + button will increase the fan speed automatically through the speed settings and the increments will be
denoted on the LED bar. When the LED bar is fully illuminated, the fan has reached maximum speed setting.
ƑPressing the + button while in Comfort BreezeTM mode will automatically cancel the Comfort BreezeTM mode and resume normal
fan operation.

to dim slightly more, until the fan has reached the minimum speed setting. At that time the LED bar will be approximately 25%

denoted on the LED bar. When the LED bar is 25% illuminated, the fan has reached the minimum speed setting.
ƑPressing the - button while in Comfort BreezeTM mode will automatically cancel the Comfort BreezeTM mode and resume normal
fan operation.
3. Comfort BreezeTM
There are three Comfort BreezeTM settings. Pressing the button will activate the Comfort BreezeTM mode and LED bar will
illuminate slowly from bottom to top to display the current setting.
ƑSetting 1: Alternates through speeds 1 – 3, the LED bar should ll approximately 33%.
ƑSetting 2: Alternates through speeds 1 – 6, the LED bar should ll approximately 66%.
ƑSetting 3: Alternates through speeds 1 – 9, the LED bar should be fully illuminated.

4. Timer
ƑPressing the timer button will automatically turn fan and light (if light is on) off after 2, 4, or 8 hours. When you activate the timer mode,
the LED to the left of the time above the clock will illuminate.

ƑWarm weather: LED bar will illuminate and the lights will ow from high to low.

ƑLight on: The fan memory function will resume the light setting (on or off and dim) on the fan prior to the power being turned off.

effect.
This allows you to set your air conditioner on a higher setting without
affecting your comfort.
B. Cool weather - (Reverse) An upward airow moves warm air off of the
ceiling. This allows you to set your heating unit on a lower setting
without affecting your comfort.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The fan will not start. ƑCheck the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers.
ƑCheck that the light kit plug is connected to the motor plug.
ƑCheck the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing.
ƑCheck the battery in the remote control to make sure the protective wrap has been removed and it is oriented
properly.
ƑEnsure you are in the normal range of 10-20 ft.
ƑEnsure the dip switch settings are the same on the remote control and receiver.
ƑRemember to turn off the power supply before checking the dip switches settings.
The fan is noisy. ƑEnsure all motor housing screws are snug.
ƑEnsure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight.
ƑEnsure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing.
ƑAllow a 24-hour “breaking in” period. Most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time.
ƑIf you are using the Ceiling Fan light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware are tight. Check that the light
bulbs are also secure.
ƑEnsure the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling. It should not touch the ceiling.
ƑEnsure your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet box.
The fan wobbles. ƑCheck that all blade bracket screws are secure and that all the blades are fully latched into place.
ƑMost fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. Check this level by selecting a point on the
ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Measure from a point on the center of each blade to the point on the
ceiling. Measure this distance. Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement. Repeat for each
blade. Any measurement deviation should be within 1/8 in. Run the fan for ten minutes. If the fan continues to
wobble please contact Customer Service and a balancing kit will be sent to you at no charge.
The fan moves
backwards and
forwards when
turned on.
ƑThis is normal start-up procedure for DC motor fans. The partial movement during start-up is the result of the DC
motor aligning the internal magnetic poles for proper motor operation. This design saves electricity and allows
the fan to operate much quieter than standard AC motor fans.
Light kit does not
dim.
ƑInstall dimmable light bulbs. The bulbs included in the box are non-dimmable CFL bulbs. To utilize the dimming
functionality, install 60-Watt (max) incandescent bulbs.
ƑBecause of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade
attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling.
ƑClean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning, as this could damage
the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the nish. The
plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
ƑYou can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover small scratches with a
light application of shoe polish.
ƑYou do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings.

1. Para disminuir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, asegúrate de cortar la
electricidad del cortacircuitos o la caja de fusibles antes de comenzar.

o lesiones personales, instala en una caja eléctrica clasicada como
“apropiada para sostener ventiladores de 35 lb (15.9 kg) o menos” y usa
tornillos de montaje que vienen con ella. Las cajas eléctricas utilizadas
comúnmente para el soporte de lámparas pueden no servir como
soporte de ventilador y tal vez deban reemplazarse. En caso de duda,
consulta a un electricista calicado.
Si tu ventilador de techo no tiene una caja de montaje aprobada por
UL, instala una siguiendo las instrucciones a continuación:
ƑDesconecta la energía retirando los fusibles o apagando los
cortacircuitos.
ƑAsegura la caja eléctrica directamente a la estructura de la
edicación. Usa sujetadores y materiales apropiados. La caja
eléctrica y su soporte tienen que ser aptos para sostener el
peso completo del ventilador en movimiento (al menos 15.9 kg).

ƑRetira de la cubierta (C) su aro (GG) girándolo hacia la izquierda
hasta soltarlo.
ƑRetira el soporte de montaje (A) de la cubierta (C) aojando
los dos tornillos de la cubierta (EE) ubicados en las ranuras en
forma de “L”.
ƑQuita y guarda los dos tornillos de la cubierta (FF) en los oricios
redondos. Esto te permitirá retirar el soporte de montaje (A).
ƑInserta los cables que salen por la parte superior del

ƑPasa los cables de suministro de 120 voltios a través del oricio
central en el soporte de montaje (A).
ƑDesliza el soporte de montaje (A) en los tornillos de montaje (1)
y centra el soporte (A) en relación con la caja eléctrica. Si es
necesario, usa arandelas niveladoras (no se incluyen) entre el
soporte de montaje deslizante (A) y la caja eléctrica. El lado plano
del soporte de montaje deslizante (A) debe mirar hacia la caja

Cómo hacer las conexiones eléctricas
ƑEl ventilador viene con cables terminales de 1.98 m para usar
con un ensamblaje extendido de tubo bajante/bola. Si usas el
ensamblaje de tubo bajante/bola (B) de 15.2 cm incluido, puedes
recortar los cables terminales al largo deseado (no menos de
30.5 cm). Esto dejará más espacio en la cubierta (C). Si no
quieres cortar los cables, deberás enrollarlos cuidadosamente.
ƑConecta los cables verdes del motor del ventilador a los cables
verde o pelado del hogar usando una tuerca de conexión de
cables (BB).
ƑConecta el cable blanco del motor del ventilador al cable blanco
del hogar usando una tuerca de conexión de cables (BB).
ƑConecta el cable negro del motor del ventilador al cable negro
del hogar usando una tuerca de conexión de cables (BB).

Cómo usar tu ventilador y control remoto
Proceso de memorización
El control remoto tiene que emparejarse con el receptor del ventilador
antes de usar. Para emparejar el control remoto y el receptor del
ventilador, sigue los pasos a continuación:
ƑAsegúrate de que la fuente de energía principal del ventilador esté
apagada antes de comenzar el proceso de emparejamiento.
ƑEnciende la fuente de energía principal del ventilador (interruptor de
pared y/o caja del cortacircuitos).
ƑAntes de transcurrir 30 segundos después de ENCENDER la
corriente CA del ventilador, presiona y mantén presionado el
botón durante 5 segundos para ingresar a la función de
memorización. Una vez que el receptor haya detectado la
frecuencia establecida, la luz del ventilador parpadeará dos veces,
si corresponde. No hay ninguna indicación si tu ventilador no está
equipado con una luz.

echa y deslizando la cubierta hasta soltarla.
ƑInstala dos baterías AAA de 1.5 V (incluidas).

1. Botón del ventilador. Presiona y suelta el botón para encender o apagar el ventilador.
ƑOprime y mantén presionado el botón durante 5 segundos para ingresar a la función de memorización.
ƑVentilador encendido. La función de memoria del ventilador reiniciará la velocidad congurada antes de cortarse el suministro de electricidad.
La barra de luz LED mostrará la conguración actual durante 5 segundos después que sueltes el botón.
ƑVentilador apagado. La función de memoria del ventilador almacenará la conguración actual para la próxima vez que esté en uso.
2 Funciones de velocidad
El botón + aumenta la velocidad del ventilador
ƑAl presionar y soltar el botón + una vez, la velocidad del ventilador aumentará. Cada incremento en la conguración hará que la barra de luz
LED se ilumine un poco más hasta que el ventilador haya alcanzado la conguración de máxima velocidad; en ese momento, la barra LED
estará iluminada completamente.
ƑAl mantener oprimido el botón + la velocidad del ventilador se incrementará automáticamente a través de la conguración de velocidades y
los incrementos se reejarán en la barra de luz LED. Cuando la barra de luz LED esté completamente iluminada, el ventilador ha alcanzado la
conguración máxima de velocidad.
ƑSi presionas el botón + en el modo Comfort BreezeTM, este se cancelará automáticamente y se reiniciará el funcionamiento normal del ventilador.
El botón - reduce la velocidad del ventilador
ƑAl presionar y soltar el botón - una vez, la velocidad del ventilador disminuirá. Cada descenso en la conguración hará que la barra de luz LED
disminuya su intensidad un poco más hasta que el ventilador haya alcanzado la conguración de mínima velocidad. En ese momento, la barra
LED estará iluminada al 25% aproximadamente.
ƑAl mantener oprimido el botón - la velocidad del ventilador disminuirá automáticamente a través de la conguración de velocidades y
las disminuciones se reejarán en la barra de luz LED. Cuando la barra de luz LED esté iluminada al 25%, el ventilador ha alcanzado la
conguración mínima de velocidad.
ƑSi presionas el botón - en el modo Comfort BreezeTM, este se cancelará automáticamente y se reiniciará el funcionamiento normal del ventilador.
3. Comfort BreezeTM
Hay tres conguraciones del modo Comfort BreezeTM . Al presionar el botón , se activará el modo Comfort BreezeTM y la barra de luz LED se
iluminará lentamente desde abajo hasta arriba para mostrar la conguración actual.
ƑConguración 1: Alterna entre las velocidades 1 a 3 y la barra de luz LED deberá iluminarse hasta 33% aproximadamente.
ƑConguración 2: Alterna entre las velocidades 1 a 6 y la barra de luz LED deberá iluminarse hasta 66% aproximadamente.
ƑConguración 3: Alterna entre las velocidades 1 a 9 y la barra de luz LED deberá iluminarse completamente.

4. Temporizador
ƑAl presionar el botón “Timer”, el ventilador y la luz (si está encendida) se apagarán automáticamente después de 2, 4 u 8 horas. Cuando activas el
temporizador, se iluminará la LED a la izquierda del indicador de tiempo sobre el reloj.

A. Clima cálido: (Hacia adelante) Un ujo de aire descendente surte un efecto
refrescante.
Esto te permite jar el aire acondicionado en una conguración más alta
sin afectar tu comodidad.
B. Clima frío - (Reversa) Un ujo de aire hacia arriba desplaza el aire cálido lejos
del cielo raso. Esto te permite jar tu unidad de calefacción en conguración
más baja sin afectar tu comodidad.

Verica que las bombillas estén bien aseguradas.
ƑAsegúrate de que la cubierta esté a corta distancia del techo. No debe tocar el techo.
ƑAsegura que la caja eléctrica quede bien ajustada y que las almohadillas aislantes de goma se hayan instalado entre la
placa de montaje y la caja eléctrica.
El ventilador oscila. ƑVerica que todos los tornillos del soporte de las aspas estén seguros y las aspas estén bien jadas en su lugar.
ƑLa mayoría de los problemas de oscilación del ventilador se deben a que las aspas no están a un mismo nivel. Verica este
nivel seleccionando un punto en el techo sobre la punta de una de las aspas. Mide desde un punto en el centro de cada
aspa al punto en el cielo raso. Mide esta distancia. Gira el ventilador hasta que la siguiente aspa quede bien colocada para
medir. Repite para cada aspa. Las desviaciones de medición no deben pasar de 0.3 cm (1/8 de plg). Enciende el ventilador
durante diez minutos. Si el ventilador continúa oscilando, comunícate con el servicio al cliente y te enviarán un kit de
compensación de aspas, sin costo alguno.

adelante y hacia
atrás cuando se
enciende.
ƑEste comportamiento inicial es normal en ventilador de motor de CC. El movimiento parcial inicial se produce porque
el motor de CC está alineando los polos magnéticos internos para su funcionamiento adecuado. Este diseño ahorra
electricidad y permite que el ventilador funcione con mucho menos ruido que los ventiladores estándar de motor de CA.
No se regula la
intensidad de luz.
ƑInstala bombillas de intensidad regulable. Las bombillas incluidas en la caja son bombillas CFL no regulables. Para usar la
función de regulación de intensidad de luz, instala bombillas incandescentes de 60 W (como máximo).
ƑPor causa del movimiento natural del ventilador, algunas conexiones pueden aojarse. Revisa dos veces al año las conexiones de soporte,
los soportes y los accesorios de las aspas. Verica que estén seguros. No es necesario desmontar el ventilador del techo.
ƑLimpia el ventilador con frecuencia para que luzca como nuevo al paso de los años. No uses agua al limpiar. Esto puede dañar el motor o la
madera e incluso provocar descarga eléctrica. Usa sólo un cepillo suave o un paño sin pelusas para evitar arañar el acabado. El revestimiento está
sellado con laca para minimizar la decoloración u opacidad.
ƑPuedes aplicar a la madera una na capa de pulimento para muebles y asegurar así mayor protección y superior belleza. Cubre los arañazos
pequeños con una leve aplicación de lustrador para calzado.
ƑNo necesitas lubricar el ventilador. El motor tiene cojinetes de bola sellados permanentemente lubricados.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrate de que la electricidad esté
desconectada antes de limpiar tu ventilador.
