The VU(MVU) bill Validator operates in two basic modes: Validation Mode and Service Mode. Validation Mode: This is the mode for normal operation. Service Mode: This is the mode for programming and testing. A set of 8 DIP switches (SW1) defines the settings and programs the Bill Validator to recognize and validate different denominations or define other parameters. A set of 4 DIP switches (SW1) defines the settings of interface type.
