HBS-770 Pairing and Connecting
If you start the process after putting in your earbuds, you can easily pair and
connect following the voice prompts.
NOTE: If you are prompted for the authorization code (PIN Code), type 0000.

proceeding with pairing.
If pairing is not completed within 3 minutes, the power automatically turns off.
When the power automatically turns off, slide the Power switch from the OFF to the ON position to
turn the power on.
Connecting Quickly
1 Slide the Power switch towards the ON position to turn on the power.
2 The blue Indicator lamp turns on and the HBS-770 switches to Search mode.
3 From the mobile phone or device list, select LG HBS770 to connect.
4 A voice message will indicate that the connection is completed.
5 Use the same process to pair the HBS-770 with other devices.
Connecting Manually
1 Press and hold the Call button and slide the Power switch to the ON position to turn it on.
2 The blue Indicator lamp turns on and the HBS-770 switches to Search mode.
3 Select LG HBS770 from the device list to connect.

Multiple Connections
The HBS-770 can be connected to a mobile phone and a PC simultaneously.
NOTE: If simultaneously connected to two devices, the main functions work based on the
“Main Connected Device.”
1 Press and hold the Call button and slide the Power switch to the ON position to turn it on.
2 Perform Steps 2 to 4 in “Connecting Quickly.” This device becomes the “Main Connected Device.”
3 Try to connect to HBS-770 using a previously connected device. This device becomes the
“Sub Connected Device.”
Automatic Reconnection
If you turn on the product, it automatically searches for and connects to the (“Main Connected Device”

device to which it was connected last time, the product switches to Search mode.)

Mobile Calling Functions
Functions Description
Receiving a Call/
Hanging Up

Volume jog switch in the volume down (-) direction.
Making a Call
If you make a call using a mobile phone, the call is automatically connected to the
HBS-770.
0OTPNFNPCJMFQIPOFTZPVTIPVMECSJFżZQSFTTUIFPlay/Pause/Stop button two
times to switch calls.
Redial Press and hold the Call button for more than 1 second to place a call to the last
number you called.
Voice Dial
#SJFżZQSFTTUIFCall button.
If the mobile phone does not support the Voice Dial function, you can use the
Redial function.
Switching Calls
#SJFżZQSFTTUIFPlay/Pause/Stop button two times during a call.
(Every time you press one of these buttons, the call switches to the mobile phone
or the HBS-770.)
Receiving a Call
While on the
Phone
You can receive another call while on the phone by pressing and holding the
Call button for 1 second.
The existing call switches to a call waiting status. Press and hold the Call button
again for 1 second to switch back to the previous call.

(It works differently depending on the mobile phone settings.)
Rejecting a Call Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds.
Enabling/
Disabling Mute Simultaneously slide and hold the Volume jog switch in the volume up (+) direction,
and slide and hold the Previous/Next jog switch in the position for 1 second.
CAUTION: Do not disable/enable the mute while driving, as you need to use both hands.
NOTE: The Voice Dial and Redial functions work on the Main Connected Device or on the device
on which you made the last call. (The Voice Dial and Redial functions may work differently
depending on the mobile phone being used.)

Playing Music
Functions Description
Play #SJFżZQSFTTUIFPlay/Pause/Stop button.
Music will play from the activated player of the connected device.
Pause #SJFżZQSFTTUIFPlay/Pause/Stop button.
Stop Press and hold the Play/Pause/Stop button for 1 second.
Play Previous/Next Song #SJFżZTMJEFUIFPrevious/Next jog switch in the or position.
Fast Rewind/Forward Slide the Previous/Next jog switch in the or position until you reach
the desired section of the track.
Change Equalizer Mode #SJFżZQSFTTUIFPlay/Pause/Stop button twice. Changes modes with
a beeping sound in the following order: Bass Boost (default) > Normal >
Treble Boost.
Switching Music Players
If you stop in the middle of playback and then play music on either of the two connected devices, the
HBS-770’s music playback and control changes to that device.
Vibration Alert Settings
Slide and hold the Volume jog switch in the volume up (+) direction for 2 seconds when the HBS-770
is not in use.
If you turn off the vibration alerts, it will not vibrate even when a call is being received or you are out
of communication range.
NOTE: The vibration alert is automatically set to the ON when you turn on the power.

Out of Range
If the device connected to the product is out of effective communication range (33 feet / 10 meters),
the communication signal becomes weak and the communication is lost.
If the device comes back within effective communication range, the product automatically reconnects
to the device. If the device is not automatically reconnected, press the Call button on the product to
connect to it manually.
If a device that is not in use goes out of communication range when multiple devices are connected,
the product vibrates and a voice message indicates that the connection is lost. In this case, the
automatic reconnection function is not supported.

LG Tone & Talk
Tone & Talk supports various functions including text and voice directions,
and calling. Go to the Google Play™ store and search for “LG Tone & Talk” or scan
the QR code on the right to install Tone & Talk.
NOTE: Tone & Talk can be used on Android™ smartphones.

1. Go to Tone & Talk and select Current time alert.
2. Slide and hold the Previous/Next jog switch to the position for
1 second.
Voice Memo
1. Go to Tone & Talk and select Voice memo.
2. Slide and hold the Previous/Next jog switch to the position for

(This feature may not be supported on some devices.)
Reading Recent
Messages Slide and hold the Previous/Next jog switch in the position for 1 second.
Find Me Simultaneously slide and hold the Volume jog switch and the Previous/Next jog
switch in the same direction for 1 second.
Using Speed Dial to

1. Go to Tone & Talk and select a speed dial contact.
2. Briefly press the Call button two times.
(The number should be specified in the Tone & Talk app.)

1. Go to Tone & Talk and select a favorite contact.
2. Briefly press the Call button two times.
3. Slide and hold the Previous/Next jog switch to the or position for
1 second to select a number.

1. Go to Tone & Talk and select Call History.
2. Briefly press the Call button two times.
3. Slide and hold the Previous/Next jog switch to the or position for
1 second to select a Call History number.

Changing the voice
prompt language
1. Select Advanced > View more in Tone & Talk.
2. Select Voice prompt language to change the language.
NOTE: The Current Time Alert and the Voice Memo features cannot be used at the same time.
You can only use one function at a time when you make selections in the Tone & Talk app.

1. Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headset HBS-770 is a radio transmitter and receiver. When in
operation it communicates with a Bluetooth equipped mobile device by receiving and transmitting

Your Bluetooth headset is designed to operate in compliance with the RF exposure guidelines and
limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when used with any compatible
LG Electronics mobile phone.
2. Potentially explosive atmosphere
Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere. Although
this is uncommon, your electronic device could generate sparks. Sparks in such areas could cause

3. Emergency calls
IMPORTANT!
This Bluetooth headset and the electronic device connected to the headset operate using radio
signals, mobile and landline networks as well as user-programmed functions, which cannot guarantee
connection under all conditions. Therefore you should never rely solely upon any electronic device
for essential communications (e.g. medical emergencies). Remember, in order to make or receive
calls, the headset and the electronic device connected to the headset must be switched on and in a
service area with adequate mobile signal strength. Emergency calls may not be possible on all mobile
phone networks or when certain network services and/or phone features are in use. Check with your
local service provider.
4. Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one that has not

Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above +50°C (+122°F) or below

is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery can only be charged
in temperatures between +10°C (+50°F) and +45°C (+113°F). For your safety, do not remove the
battery incorporated with the product. If you need to replace the battery, take it to the nearest
authorized LG Electronics service point or dealer for assistance.

5. Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth headset
The battery in your Bluetooth headset must be disposed of properly and should never be placed in
municipal waste. The LG Electronics service partner who removes the battery will dispose of it
according to local regulations.
6. Conditions
- The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original purchaser by the dealer,
specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with the product to be repaired or
replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this information has been
removed or changed after the original purchase of the product from the dealer.
- If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced product shall be war-
ranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date
of repair, whichever is longer. Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent
reconditioned units. Replaced parts or components will become the property of LG Electronics.
- This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear and tear, or due to
misuse, including but not limited to use in other than the normal and customary manner, in
accordance with instructions for use and maintenance of the product. Nor does this warranty cover

Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your headset at a high volume.
Set the volume to a safe level. Over time you can become accustomed to a higher volume that may
sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing.

Si inicia el proceso después de colocarse los auriculares, podrá vincular y
conectarlos fácilmente siguiendo las instrucciones de voz.
NOTA: Si se le solicita el código de autorización (Código PIN), indique .

Si el vincular no se completa en 3 minutos, los auriculares se apagarán

Conexión rápida
1 Deslice el Interruptor principal hacia la posición ON para encender el dispositivo.
2 La luz indicadora azul se encenderá y los HBS-770 cambiarán al modo de Búsqueda.
3 Desde la lista de celulares o dispositivos, seleccione -()#4 para realizar la conexión.
4 Un mensaje de voz indicará que la conexión se ha realizado correctamente.
5 Utilice el mismo proceso para vincular el HBS-770 con otros dispositivos.

Los HBS-770 pueden conectarse a un celular y a una PC al mismo tiempo.
NOTA: Si se conectan al mismo tiempo a dos dispositivos, las funciones principales funcionarán
según el “Dispositivo conectado principal“.
1 Mantenga presionado el #PU²OMMBNBS y deslice el Interruptor principal hacia la posición ON para
encender el dispositivo.
2 Realice los pasos del 2 al 4 en “Conexión rápida”. Este dispositivo se convertirá en el “Dispositivo
conectado principal”.
3 Intente conectar los HBS-770 utilizando un dispositivo conectado anteriormente. Este dispositivo
se convertirá en el “Dispositivo conectado secundario”.
Reconexión automática
Si enciende el producto, este busca y se conecta en forma automática a los aparatos (“Dispositivo
conectado principal” y “Dispositivo conectado secundario”) a los que estaba anteriormente conectado.
(Si el producto no puede encontrar el último aparato al que se conectó, el producto cambia al modo
de búsqueda).
Si el producto no se conecta automáticamente al dispositivo que desea, busque su producto en el
dispositivo al que desee conectarse y realice la conexión de forma manual.

Realizar una llamada
Si realiza una llamada con un celular, la llamada se conectará automáticamente
a los HBS-770.
En algunos celulares, deberá presionar brevemente el #PU²OSFQSPEVDJS
QBVTBSEFUFOFS dos veces para cambiar de llamada.
Rellamada Mantenga presionado el #PU²OMMBNBS durante más de 1 segundo para realizar
una llamada al último número al que llamó.
Marcado por voz
Presione brevemente el #PU²OMMBNBS.
Si el celular no admite la función de Marcado por voz, puede utilizar la función
de Rellamada.
Cambiar de llamada

una llamada.
(Cada vez que presione uno de estos botones, la llamada cambiará al celular
o a los HBS-770).

Fuera de rango
Si el dispositivo conectado al producto está fuera del rango de comunicación efectiva (10 metros), la
señal de comunicación será más débil y se perderá la comunicación.
Si el dispositivo vuelve a estar dentro del rango de comunicación efectiva, el producto volverá a
conectarse automáticamente al dispositivo. Si el dispositivo no vuelve a conectarse automáticamente,
presione el #PU²OMMBNBS del producto para conectarlo de forma manual.
Si un dispositivo que no se está utilizando sale del rango de comunicación cuando hay varios
dispositivos conectados, el producto vibrará y un mensaje de voz indicará que se ha perdido la
conexión. En este caso, la función de reconexión automática no será compatible.

deben estar encendidos y en un área de servicio con una señal móvil de buena potencia. Las llamadas
de emergencia no pueden hacerse en todas las redes de telefonía celular ni cuando están en uso
ciertos servicios de red o funciones del teléfono. Compruebe la disponibilidad con su proveedor de
servicio local.
4. Información sobre la batería
Las baterías recargables tienen una vida útil prolongada si reciben el tratamiento adecuado. Las
baterías nuevas o que no se hayan utilizado por un lapso extenso podrían tener una capacidad
reducida las primeras veces que se utilizan. No exponga la batería a temperaturas extremas,
superiores a +50°C (+122°F) o inferiores a -10°C (+14°F). Para obtener la máxima capacidad de la
batería, úsela a temperatura ambiente. Si se utiliza la batería en condiciones de temperaturas bajas, la
capacidad se verá reducida. La batería solo puede cargarse a temperaturas entre
+10°C (+50°F) and +45°C (+113°F). Por su seguridad, no quite la batería que viene incorporada en el
producto. Si necesita reemplazar la batería, solicite asesoramiento al distribuidor o al centro de
servicio técnico autorizado de LG Electronics más cercano a su domicilio.
5. Reciclado de la batería del auricular
Bluetooth
La batería del auricular Bluetooth debe desecharse con el procedimiento adecuado y nunca debe
arrojarse al basurero municipal. Los encargados del servicio técnico de LG Electronics que extraigan
baterías las desecharán de acuerdo con las reglamentaciones locales.
6. Condiciones
- La garantía tiene validez únicamente si, junto con el producto que se va a reparar o reemplazar,
se presenta la factura original que el distribuidor le emitió al comprador original. LG Electronics
se reserva el derecho de denegar el servicio de garantía si no se presenta dicha información o si

el uso de unidades reacondicionadas con funciones equivalentes. Los componentes o las piezas

- La presente garantía no cubre falla alguna por desgaste natural ni uso indebido, entre otros casos,
