FCB 10040 Mesa Rim Road San Diego CA 92121 USA Dear Sir or Madam: We, Hunt Technologies, 6436 County Road 11, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472, are requesting Limited Modular Approval (LMA) on the AirPoint iCon (AirPoint transmitter board). The AirPoint iCon is installed in the Sensus iCon electric meters. Sensus will control the final installation by requiring that the AirPoint iCon be installed into the Sensus iCon meter per Hunt Technologies' specific instructions. Further, it will not transmit RF energy unless it is in a Sensus iCon meter due to the complexity of the communications protocol used between the two. No manual exists for this product since Sensus is the integrator. However, Sensus will be instructed to include the following regulatory notices in their end product manuals: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This device contains FCC ID: TEB-AIRPT652 / IC: 5931A-AIRPT652. Caution: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Hunt Technologies could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. In addition, the wording "Contains FCC ID: TEB-AIRPT652 / IC: 5931A-AIRPT652" will be included on the label of the device in which the AirPoint iCon is installed.
