After the button is pressed the lights willcycle up and down for 3 seconds to notify you that youare in programming mode, and settle at 50% lightoutput. If you are using an RTA-RX-SW the lights willcycle OFF and ON. The Status LED will be in fast blinkmode.Press and holdthis buttonStep B - While in programming mode press thecorresponding button in the column that you want tocontrol the receiver and hold for 5 seconds (seeTransmitter diagrams below). The Controller will flashor cycle the lights OFF and ON when the transmitter isadded. If no lights are being controlled by the receiver,you will not get visual feedback.Step C - Press the programming button again to exitfrom programming mode. The lights will go to high endand the Status LED will return to slow blink mode. Ifyou are using an RTA-RX-SW the lights will cycle OFFand ON. To test the tabletop transmitter for lights, pressany button in the column added on the tabletoptransmitter and verify that the lights respond. ForSivoia®shades, press any button and see that theshades move. If no response return to step A and besure to hold the buttons for 5 seconds while in step B. 3RadioTouch Tabletop Transmitter AddendumHardware InstallationRadioTouchDeleting a Tabletop TransmitterEach column of buttons on the tabletop transmittermust be deleted separately from the Controller that youno longer wish to control.Deleting Columns of LightsStep A - Press and release the programming button onthe Controller. After the button is pressed the lights willcycle up and down for 3 seconds to notify you that youare in programming mode, and settle at 50% lightoutput. If you are using an RTA-RX-SW the lights willcycle OFF and ON. The Status LED will be in fast blinkmode.Step B - While in programming mode press thecorresponding buttons in the column that you want todelete from the Controller and hold for 5 seconds (seeTransmitter diagrams below). The Controller will flashthe lights when the transmitter is deleted. If no lightsare being controlled by the Controller, you will not getvisual feedback.Step C - Press the programming button again to exitfrom programming mode. The lights will go to high endor turn ON, and the Status LED will return to slow blinkmode. 4RadioTouch Tabletop Transmitter AddendumHardware InstallationRadioTouchSetting the ON light level of a twobutton, dimmable lighting column -Remote MethodNote: No DIP switches need to be switched to performthis operation.Step A - Press and hold the ON and the lower buttonsfor 5 seconds. The lights will flash to notify you that youare in Preset Adjust Mode, and settle at 100% lightlevel.Step B - Using the raise/lower buttons in that columnon the transmitter controlling the Controller that you areadjusting, set the lights at the new ON level.Step C - Press and hold the ON and raise buttons for 5seconds. The lights will flash to notify you that the ONlevel has changed. Step D - Press and hold the ON and the lower buttonsfor 5 seconds to exit Preset Adjust Mode. The lights willflash and return to their maximum light level. Test theON button to make sure the light level is correct. If not,repeat steps A through D.Notes:•The Controller will not react to preset button pressesfrom any transmitter while the Controller is in PresetAdjust Mode.•Preset light levels may be affected by a photosensorinput. (If a photosensor is connected to thisController your lights may change level when DIPswitch #1 is flipped.) Step B - Using the raise/lower buttons on thetransmitter controlling the Controller that you are adjust-ing, set the lights at the new ON level.Step C - Press and hold the ON and raise buttons for 5seconds. The lights will flash to notify you that the ONlevel has changed. 5RadioTouch Tabletop Transmitter AddendumHardware InstallationRadioTouch1234 5678 9101112 13141516CLASS 2 LOW VOLTAGE WIRING12345 Power Status Program Burn-In123Wiring output switch closures toother equipment (RTA-RX-F-SC only)The RadioTouch controller has the ability to provide 5momentary dry output switch closures. These closurescan be used to operate AC shades, MotorizedProjection Screens, or other equipment designed toaccept momentary dry switch closures. A column of 5 buttons on a Tabletop Transmittercorrespond to Switch Closures 1 through 5 on theController. A two button column on a Tabletop Transmitter willactivate Switch Closures 2 and 4.A three button column on a Tabletop Transmitter willactivate Switch Closures 2, 4, and 3, in that order. (Seediagrams below.)The switch closure outputs on the RadioTouchController provide a momentary dry closure for 0.250seconds to other equipment.
