Shadow Sensor enhances the performance
of Hyperion™ solar-adaptive shading
systems when direct sunlight is being

maximizes natural daylight, available views
and occupant comfort when shadows
are cast on buildings or cloudy conditions
prevail. The sensor works at the window
level to communicate current exterior light
conditions to the Quantum® Total Light
Management System, enabling Hyperion to
respond appropriately, improve occupant
comfort and enhance the system’s energysaving potential. The battery-powered
