The W-Link channel allows the exchange of vital data(PULSE Barryvox®only), providing faster and more reliable multiple burial data as well as thecommunication with the W-Link based test and configurationadapters. The W-Link channel iscompletely separate from the primary 457kHz functions of the transceiver. Without W-Linkdata available, your transceiver will still operate as a normal 457kHz avalanche trans-ceiver in transmit and receive mode. Due to differences in country specific communicationlaws and frequency usage, the W-Link configuration is different in different countries.
