If on carpeting or an unstable surface, please make sure the Carpet Platform is between the carpet and the scale. How do I know if my weight is in pounds (lbs) or kilograms (kg)? Upon taking a measurement, the scale does two things: 1. It speaks the unit of measurement. 2. Either “kg” or “lb” displays in the lower right corner of the LCD screen when standing on the scale.
